Electrical conductivity of FeO was measured up to 141 GPa and 2480 K in a laser-heated diamond-anvil cell. The results show that rock-salt (B1) type structured FeO metallizes at around 70 GPa and 1900 K without any structural phase transition. We computed fully self-consistently the electronic structure and the electrical conductivity of B1 FeO as a function of pressure and temperature, and found that although insulating as expected at ambient condition, B1 FeO metallizes at high temperatures, consistent with experiments. The observed metallization is related to spin crossover.  相似文献

Novel extended BODIPYs fused with bicyclo rings were synthesized from bicyclopyrroles by combining Knoevenagel condensation, Suzuki coupling, and O-chelation. The absorption maxima of the BODIPYs ranged from the visible to near-infrared region and the compounds showed good solubility in organic solvents. The solubility of the bicycloBODIPY with 2-naphthyl groups at the α-position of the pyrrole units was particularly high. Heating converted distyrylBODIPY with bicyclo[2.2.2]octene to benzoBODIPY with absorption (748.5?nm) and fluorescence (775.0?nm) in the near-infrared region.  相似文献

We report the development of a molecular ferroelectric material inspired by the hexamethylenetetramine (hmta) non‐centrosymmetric molecular rotator. The bromide salt of diprotonated hmta (hmtaH2) crystalized as (hmtaH2)(NH4)Br3 in a metal‐free ABX3 perovskite‐type structure, in which the A and B sites are occupied by hmtaH22+ and ammonium cations, respectively. The compound crystallized in the Pma2 polar space group. A distorted polar perovskite structure formed owing to the distortion of {(NH4)Br6} octahedrons that are stabilized through the formation of NH???Br hydrogen bonds and the orientational ordering of positive charges on the non‐centrosymmetric hmtaH2 molecules. This spontaneous polarization exhibited ferroelectric behavior with a nominally high Curie temperature (>400 K), in which the electrical switching of polarization originates from the rotation of the hmtaH2 unit.  相似文献

The general gas chromatographic retention behavior of cyclic methylsiloxanes partially substituted with phenyl or 2-cyanoethyl groups has been systematically studied, with pyrolysis-gas chromatography being utilized to form the cyclic siloxanes from the corresponding polysiloxanes at a temperature of 600°C. Kovats retention indices (KI) were determined for the cyclic siloxanes by use of the retention data of the pyrolyzates from polyethylene as standards. The effect of phenyl and 2-cyanoethyl substituents in the cyclic siloxanes on retention behavior has also been considered.  相似文献

The development of phase-contrast magnetic resonance imaging (P-C MRI) provides a noninvasive method for measurement of volumetric blood flow (VFR). We performed P-C MRI to study the effects of physical characteristics on cerebral blood flow. VFR of the left and right internal carotid arteries and basilar artery were measured using P-C MRI and total cerebral blood flow (tCBF) was calculated by summing up the VFR values in the three vessels. Moreover, we investigated the changes in these blood flows as influenced by age, head size, height, weight, body surface area, and handedness. The blood flows were 142 ± 58 ml/min (mean ± standard deviation) in the basilar artery; and 229 ± 86 ml/min in the left, and 223 ± 58 ml/min in the right internal carotid artery; and tCBF was 617 ± 128 ml/min. Significant increases were observed in head size-related change of VFR in the basilar artery (p = .028) and height-related change of tCBF (p = .045). The other characteristics did not significantly influence any VFR. The results suggest that head size and height may reflect CBF, and that these effects should be considered when changes of CBF are diagnosed. Phase-contrast MRI is useful for a noninvasive and rapid analysis of cerebral VFR and has potential for clinical use.  相似文献

Pentacene derivatives substituted by aromatic groups at the 6,13-positions were prepared and investigated for their electronic properties and the photoaddition reaction with oxygen. The pentacene derivatives substituted by 2-thienyl and phenyl groups reacted with oxygen in solution under light and afforded their endoperoxides. These first-order kinetic constants were evaluated to be 1.5×10−3 s−1 and 2.7×10−3 s−1. The pentacene derivative with pentafluorophenyl groups was relatively stable in solution. The thermolysis and photolysis of the endoperoxide with 2-thienyl groups in solution afforded the pentacene derivative with yields of 30 and 44%, respectively. In addition, UV irradiation (254 nm) of the thin film of the endoperoxide was studied, which indicated the reproduction of the pentacene derivative.  相似文献
