A simple, high‐throughput and specific high‐performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry method has been developed and validated according to the FDA guidelines for simultaneous quantification of olmesartan and pioglitazone in rat plasma. The bioanalytical method consists of liquid–liquid extraction and quantitation by triple quadrupole mass spectrometry using electrospray ionization technique, operating in multiple reaction monitoring and positive ion modes. The compounds were eluted isocratically on a C18 column with a mobile phase consisting of a mixture of methanol and water (containing 0.5% formic acid) in a ratio of 9:1. The response to olmesartan and pioglitazone was linear over the range 0.01–10 µg/mL. The validation results demonstrated that the method had satisfactory precision and accuracy across the calibration range. Intra‐ and inter‐day precisions ranged from 0.66 to 3.32 and from 0.94 to 2.93% (%CV), respectively. The accuracy determined at three quality control levels was within 91.27–107.28%. There was no evidence of instability of the analytes in rat plasma following the stability studies. The method proved highly reproducible and sensitive and was successfully applied in a pharmacokinetic study after single dose oral administration of olmesartan and pioglitazone to the rat. Large eddy simulation of fire plumes   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
FireFOAM, a new fire modeling code based on the OpenFOAM platform (www.openfoam.org), is developed and applied to model a series of purely buoyant fire plumes with heat release rates from 14 to 58 kW. The calculations are compared with McCaffrey’s (1979) experiments. The simulation results demonstrate good quantitative agreement with experimental measurements, and show the scaling relations of mean temperature and velocity in the continuous flame, intermittent and plume regions. The numerical simulations are shown to be strictly conservative in energy. Predicted flame heights and entrainment rates also compare well with experimental correlations. The good agreements in all aspects examined show that the current CFD model performs well for small-scale fire plumes. Turbulent fluctuation intensities and PDF of mixture fraction are presented to gain more insights into the structure of fire plumes.  相似文献

Two-photon absorption(2PA) in zinc sulphide(ZnS) and Mn2+-doped ZnS quantum dots is reported by the z-scan technique,with nanosecond pulsed laser radiation at 355 nm.The observed values of the 2PA cross section of all the samples are 105 times larger than that of bulk ZnS.  相似文献

The frequency-dependent properties of Mn-doped (3-5 at.%) aligned zinc oxide (Mn-ZnO) nanorods, synthesized by hybrid wet chemical route onto glass substrates, were investigated by bias-dependent impedance spectroscopy. No peak of Mn cluster/secondary phases was detected in the X-ray diffraction traces of the samples. XPS studies show the presence of oxygen vacancies in Mn-ZnO nanorods and Mn in Mn2+ and Mn4+ charge states. Although X-ray diffraction/X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy does not give any indication of the presence of metal clusters in the samples, bias-dependent impedance spectroscopy demonstrates significant sensitivity to the formation of Mn clusters in Mn-ZnO nanorods.  相似文献

The soliton resolution conjecture for the focusing nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLS) is the vaguely worded claim that a global solution of the NLS, for generic initial data, will eventually resolve into a radiation component that disperses like a linear solution, plus a localized component that behaves like a soliton or multisoliton solution. Considered to be one of the fundamental open problems in the area of nonlinear dispersive equations, this conjecture has eluded a proof or even a precise formulation to date. This paper proves a “statistical version” of this conjecture at mass‐subcritical nonlinearity, in the following sense: The uniform probability distribution on the set of all functions with a given mass and energy, if such a thing existed, would be a natural invariant measure for the NLS flow and would reflect the long‐term behavior for “generic initial data” with that mass and energy. Unfortunately, such a probability measure does not exist. We circumvent this problem by constructing a sequence of discrete measures that, in principle, approximate this fictitious probability distribution as the grid size goes to 0. We then show that a continuum limit of this sequence of probability measures does exist in a certain sense, and in agreement with the soliton resolution conjecture, the limit measure concentrates on the unique ground state soliton. Combining this with results from ergodic theory, we present a tentative formulation and proof of the soliton resolution conjecture in the discrete setting. The above results, following in the footsteps of a program of studying the long‐term behavior of nonlinear dispersive equations through their natural invariant measures initiated by Lebowitz, Rose, and Speer and carried forward by Bourgain, McKean, Tzvetkov, Oh, and others, are proved using a combination of techniques from large deviations, PDEs, harmonic analysis, and bare‐hands probability theory. In this paper, a notion of Levitin–Polyak (LP in short) well-posedness is introduced for a vector optimization problem in terms of minimizing sequences and efficient solutions. Sufficient conditions for the LP well-posedness are studied under the assumptions of compactness of the feasible set, closedness of the set of minimal solutions and continuity of the objective function. The continuity assumption is then weakened to cone lower semicontinuity for vector-valued functions. A notion of LP minimizing sequence of sets is studied to establish another set of sufficient conditions for the LP well-posedness of the vector problem. For a quasiconvex vector optimization problem, sufficient conditions are obtained by weakening the compactness of the feasible set to a certain level-boundedness condition. This in turn leads to the equivalence of LP well-posedness and compactness of the set of efficient solutions. Some characterizations of LP well-posedness are given in terms of the upper Hausdorff convergence of the sequence of sets of approximate efficient solutions and the upper semicontinuity of an approximate efficient map by assuming the compactness of the set of efficient solutions, even when the objective function is not necessarily quasiconvex. Finally, a characterization of LP well-posedness in terms of the closedness of the approximate efficient map is provided by assuming the compactness of the feasible set.  相似文献

We report a simple, versatile, two-step fabrication technique for synthesizing a core–shell nanorod array whose architecture is specifically suited for use as an electrode in a dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC). The particular structure fabricated by us consists of a parallel array of 5 μm long and 150–200 nm wide Ag nanorod cores, each coated with a 15–20 nm thick ZnO shell. Importantly, the shell thickness is roughly uniform throughout the length of the rods, which are free standing but distinctly separated from each other. This would allow the dye to penetrate freely and cover the ZnO surface completely in a DSSC.  相似文献

The four-component coupling (4CC) of sugar hydroxyaldehyde, Meldrum’s acid, isocyanide, and a secondary alcohol in dichloromethane has been accomplished at room temperature in a highly stereoselective manner to produce a novel class of carbohydrate derivatives, 5-oxo-perhydrofuro[3,2-b]pyrans in good yields with trans-selectivity. A simple, reliable, trace determination of selenomethionine (Semet) based on a direct hydride generation atomic absorption spectrometric method was developed using sodium tetrahydroborate (0.3% in 0.2% NaOH) and hydrochloric acid (3 M). The method excluded any chemical pretreatment prior to hydride generation (HG). The optimized HG system was successfully coupled with the HPLC system. The detection limit (3σ of blank; n=5), reproducibility (R.S.D. of three successive analyses/day, performed on three different days), and repeatability (R.S.D. of three successive analyses) of the method were 1.08 ng ml−1, 9.8% for 9.04 ng ml−1 and 2.1–9.5% for 30.0–1.27 ng ml−1 Semet as Se (standards prepared in Milli-Q water). Calibration graph was linear up to 30 ng ml−1. This HPLC-HG-AAS method is very promising and successfully determined Semet (spiked) in human urine.  相似文献
