Summary Mixed ligand complexes of general formula [UO2L1L2-(H2O)n], where L1 iso-hydroxy-,o-mercapto- oro-aminobenzoic acid and L2 is glycine, L-alanine, or L-valine, have been prepared and characterized. The uranium atom in these complexes is 6- or 8-coordinate. Both acid ligands are bidentate, bonding through the ionized –COO– group and either O, N or S atoms.  相似文献

We consider a trader who wants to direct his or her portfolio towards a set of acceptable wealths given by a convex risk measure. We propose a Monte Carlo algorithm, whose inputs are the joint law of stock prices and the convex risk measure, and whose outputs are the numerical values of initial capital requirement and the functional form of a trading strategy for achieving acceptability. We also prove optimality of the capital obtained. Explicit theoretical evaluations of hedging strategies are extremely difficult, and we avoid the problem by resorting to such computational methods. The main idea is to utilize the finite Vapnik–C?ervonenkis dimension of a class of possible strategies.  相似文献

The frequency and the amplitude of the driving AC current dependence on the harmonic behavior of the giant magneto-impedance (GMI) voltage of Co-rich amorphous wire have been studied. Single-peak, two-peak and three-peak behavior in the GMI characteristics was studied with the change of amplitude and frequency of the AC current. GMI ratio was calculated from the first harmonic signals which were initially increased and then decreased monotonically with the increase of frequency (f) and the amplitude (IAC) of the driving current. The response of the GMI voltage was found non-linear with the generation of higher harmonics at higher amplitude of the driving current. The second and third harmonic signals were also evaluated and their dependence on the driving current amplitude and frequency were presented in the paper. The experimental results were analyzed using single domain rotational model. The voltage harmonics were calculated through Fourier transform of the time derivative of the estimated circular magnetization of the sample.  相似文献

The convergence rate of a fast-converging second-order accurate iterative method with splitting of boundary conditions constructed by the authors for solving an axisymmetric Dirichlet boundary value problem for the Stokes system in a spherical gap is studied numerically. For R/r exceeding about 30, where r and R are the radii of the inner and outer boundary spheres, it is established that the convergence rate of the method is lower (and considerably lower for large R/r) than the convergence rate of its differential version. For this reason, a really simpler, more slowly converging modification of the original method is constructed on the differential level and a finite-element implementation of this modification is built. Numerical experiments have revealed that this modification has the same convergence rate as its differential counterpart for R/r of up to 5 × 103. When the multigrid method is used to solve the split and auxiliary boundary value problems arising at iterations, the modification is more efficient than the original method starting from R/r ~ 30 and is considerably more efficient for large values of R/r. It is also established that the convergence rates of both methods depend little on the stretching coefficient η of circularly rectangular mesh cells in a range of η that is well sufficient for effective use of the multigrid method for arbitrary values of R/r smaller than ~ 5 × 103.  相似文献

TiO2 thin films were prepared under various conditions by using a reactive RF sputtering technique. The structural, optical and electrical characteristics of the films have been investigated. All as-deposited films were amorphous. After annealing at T > 673 K, the crystallinity of the observed tetragonal anatase phase appeared improved. The optical band gap, determined by using Tauc plot, has been found to amount to 3.38 ± 0.03 and 3.21 ± 0.03 eV for the direct and indirect transition, respectively. Also the complex optical constants for the wavelength range 300-2500 nm are reported. Using the two-point probe technique, the dark resistivity has been measured as a function of the film thickness, d. The resistivity, ρ, of the samples has been found to decrease markedly with increasing thickness, but only for d < 100 nm. The behaviour of ρd versus d was found to fit properly with the Fuchs and Sondheimer relation with parameters ρo = 4.95 × 106 Ω cm and mean free path, l = 310 ± 2 nm. The log ρ versus 1/T curves show three distinct regions with values for the activation energy of 0.03 ± 0.01, 0.17 ± 0.01 and 0.50 ± 0.02 eV, respectively.  相似文献

This article presents the comparison of approximate and exact small-signal theories for analyzing the influence of the higher-order dispersion terms on dispersive optical communication systems operating near zero dispersion wavelength for linear single-mode fiber. For the approximate theory, the generalized conversion matrix has been reported and gives the transfer function of intensity and phase from the fiber input to fiber output for a laser source including the influence of any higher-order dispersion term. In addition, expressions for the small-signal frequency response and the relative intensity noise (RIN) response of an ultrafast laser diode including noises are derived. However, it is observed that the approximation assumed for the second-order dispersion term for the approximate analysis is not valid. From the approximate theory, the exact generalized conversion matrix and exact expressions for small-signal frequency response and relative intensity noise (RIN) are obtained. We show that for the exact theory, the second-order dispersion term has no effect on intensity and frequency response even at large modulating frequencies and large propagation distances contrary to the approximate theory as reported by other authors. But we show that third-order dispersion term certainly has some minute impact on the frequency and RIN response for long distance links at high modulating frequencies.  相似文献

Fluorescence quenching of methoxycalixarenes (MOCX) by chloroalkanes (CA) has been investigated in acetonitrile solutions. Observed quenching is attributed to photoinduced dissociative electron transfer (DET) interaction, which is supported by the characterization of the Cl ions and by the radical scavenging experiments. Comparing the Cl yields with different DET systems, it is inferred that both concerted and stepwise DET mechanisms operate simultaneously in MOCX–CA systems. A correlation of the quenching constants with the free-energy changes following a suitable DET theory supports the above inference.  相似文献

Through the arrangement of the applied load, experimental nanoindentation results of polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) and polyurethane (PU) employed to establish a mechanical model. The proposed model consists of irreversible delayed plastic (viscoplastic) deformation, irreversible viscous deformation, and reversible delayed elastic (viscoelastic) deformations. The phase lag exhibited between the responding depth and the oscillating load is found to be linear proportional to frequency in the range of 1-50 Hz. The residual cavity profile of the PMMA scanned by an atomic force microscope gives a validity of accommodation assumption applied in the present model. The effects of overshooting, which occurred in the dwelling process, are also discussed.  相似文献

The vertical migration of 85Sr, 137Cs and 131I in some arable and undisturbed single-contaminated soils was studied by gamma-spectrometry measurements under lysimetric laboratory conditions during irrigation of the soil profiles with wet atmospheric precipitation for about one year, except 131I. A new simple exponential compartment (box) model was derived, which makes it possible to calculate the migration rate constants and migration rates in the individual soil layers (vertical sections) as well as the total vertical migration rate constants and total vertical migration rates of radionuclides in the bulk soil horizon. The relaxation times of radionuclides in respective soil horizons can also be evaluated.  相似文献
