The synthesis of (1H-benzimidazol-2-yl-methyl)phosphonic acid, H2(Bimp)+/-, is described: 2-chloromethylbenzimidazole was reacted with ethylchloroformate to give 1-carboethoxy-2-chloromethylbenzimidazole which was treated with trimethyl phosphite and after hydrolysis with aqueous HBr H2(Bimp)+/- was obtained. In H2(Bimp)+/- one proton is at the N-3 site and the other at the phosphonate group; both acidity constants were determined in aqueous solution by potentiometric pH titrations (25 degrees C; I = 0.1 M, NaNO3) and this furnished the pKa values of 5.37 +/- 0.02 and 7.41 +/- 0.02, respectively. The acidity constant for the release of the primary proton from the P(O)(OH)2 group of H3(Bimp)+ was estimated: pKa = 1.5 +/- 0.2. Moreover, Bimp2- can be further deprotonated at its neutral (N-1/N-3)H site to give the benzimidazolate residue, but this reaction occurs only in strongly alkaline solution (KOH); application of the H_ scale developed by G. Yagil (J. Phys. Chem., 1967, 71, 1034) together with UV spectrophotometric measurements gave pKa = 14.65 +/- 0.12. Comparisons with acidity constants taken from the literature show that this latter pKa value is far too large and this allows the conclusion that an intramolecular hydrogen bond is formed between the (N-1/N-3)H site and the phosphonate group of Bimp2-; the formation degree of this hydrogen-bonded isomer is estimated to be 98 +/- 2%. The general relevance of this and the other results are shortly discussed and the species distribution for the Bimp system in dependence on pH is provided. 相似文献

A simple, rapid, inexpensive, and automated flow-through solid-phase spectroscopic sensing device is proposed for the sequential determination of 2 vitamins: thiamine and ascorbic acid. The vitamins are concentrated on ion-exchange gels, thiamine on Sephadex SP C-25, and ascorbic acid on Sephadex QAE A-25; both solid supports are packed in 2 different flow cells. The absorbance is monitored directly on the solid phase with a double-beam spectrophotometer at 250 nm, without derivatization or additional elution. With the use of 2 carrier/self-eluting solutions (0.1 5M sodium acetate/acetic acid and 0.18M citric acid/K2HPO4) and a sample volume of 1000 microL, the sensor responds linearly in the range of 0.5-15 and 3-50 microg/mL with detection limits of 0.14 and 0.36 microg/mL for thiamine and ascorbic acid, respectively. When the method was applied to synthetic samples and pharmaceutical preparations, precise and accurate values were obtained. 相似文献

A novel interface design for coupling gas chromatography and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (GC/ICP-MS) was used to perform mercury speciation in biological tissues. Three derivatization approaches were optimized and compared for this purpose: anhydrous butylation using a Grignard reagent, aqueous ethylation by means of NaEt(4)B and aqueous propylation with NaPr(4)B. The last reagent was synthesized in the laboratory as it is not commercially available. Detection limits obtained by GC/ICP-MS ranged between 100 and 200 fg (as absolute mass) for methylmercury and between 500 and 600 fg for inorganic mercury using a 1 microl injection. Quantification of methyl- and inorganic mercury was carried out by resorting to aqueous calibration, using ethylmercury as internal standard for both propylation and butylation derivatization techniques. For ethylation procedures, a methylpropylmercury solution was used as internal standard. The absence of transmethylation during sample preparation was checked using a 97% enriched (202)Hg inorganic standard. The accuracy of the three derivatization approaches was evaluated by the analysis of the certified reference material DOLT-2 (dogfish liver) from the National Research Council of Canada and certified for methylmercury, with satisfactory results. 相似文献

A selective and sensitive chromatographic method is described for the determination of nine organochlorine and organophosphorus pesticides in vegetable samples by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The proposed method combines the use of positive and negative chemical ionisation and tandem mass spectrometric fragmentation, resulting in a significant increase in selectivity and allowing the simultaneous confirmation and quantification of trace levels of pesticides in complex vegetable matrices. Parameters relative to ionisation and fragmentation processes were optimised to obtain maximum sensitivity. Repeatability and reproducibility studies yielded relative standard deviations lower than 25% in all cases. Identification criteria, such as retention time and relative abundance of characteristic product ions, were also evaluated in order to guarantee the correct identification of the target compounds. The method was applied to real vegetable samples to demonstrate its use in routine analysis. 相似文献

In this paper we study theoretically the molecular structure of [Be(C5Me5)2], with special interest in similarities and differences found in the computed geometric parameters, depending on the treatment of the electron correlation used. Given the low energy differences found between the different configurations studied (less than 4 kcal mol−1), and the high fluxionality found in experimental studies for this compound, we analyzed the dynamics of the system by means of first principles molecular dynamics calculations. We perform static light scattering experiments on a dilute suspension of microgel particles and model the resultant form factors Pq by assuming an exponentially decaying dielectric permittivity. The result is that Pq is a Lorentzian function of the scattering wavevector q for length scales greater than the particle size; the width approximately corresponding to twice the particle radius. This simple model reasonably accounts for scattered light from both swollen and shrunken microgel phases. 相似文献

Ab initio ground state potential energy surfaces are obtained from interaction energies calculated with the coupled cluster singles and doubles model including connected triples corrections [CCSD(T)] and the aug-cc-pVXZ (X=5,Q,T,D) basis sets augmented with two different sets of midbond functions (denoted 33221 and 33211). The aug-cc-pV5Z-33221 surface is characterized by a T-shaped 49.5 cm(-1) minimum at Re=3.38 Angstroms and a linear saddle point at 3.95 Angstroms with De=36.6 cm(-1). These results agree well with the values provided by the accurate semiempirical potentials available. The rovibronic spectroscopic properties are determined and compared to the available experimental data and previous theoretical results. We study the basis set convergence of the intermolecular potentials and the rotational frequencies. The aug-cc-pVTZ basis sets provide reasonable binding parameters, but seem not to be converged enough for the evaluation of the microwave spectra. The aug-cc-pVQZ basis sets considerably improve the triple zeta results. The differences between the results obtained with the aug-cc-pVTZ-33221 basis set surface and those with the aug-cc-pVQZ-33221 are smaller than those of the corresponding bases with the set of 33211 midbond functions. The aug-cc-pVQZ surfaces are close to the aug-cc-pV5Z, that are expected to be close to convergence. With our best surfaces the errors in the frequencies with respect to the accurate experimental results go down to 0.6%. 相似文献

A method for the determination of the fungicide thiabendazole (TBZ) by micellar-stabilized room-temperature phosphorescence is described. It does not require any separation step and allows the direct determination of the fungicide in canned pineapple samples. The effect of various experimental conditions is discussed in detail. The analytical curve of thiabendazole gives a linear dynamic range of 23.8–500.0 ng mL–1 and a detection limit of 23.8 ng mL–1. Recoveries of 103.9 and 89.2% for syrup and canned pineapple pulp, respectively, were obtained for 250 ng mL–1 thiabendazole. 相似文献

A novel approach for the synthesis of the important indole ring is described. Indoles are obtained from o-bromoanilines and alkenyl halides in a Pd-catalyzed cascade process that involves an alkenyl amination followed by an intramolecular Heck reaction. The overall process represents the first example of the participation of alkenyl amination reactions in Pd-catalyzed cascade reactions. Initially, the relative reactivity of aryl and alkenyl bromides and chlorides towards Pd-catalyzed amination was investigated. Competition experiments were carried out in the presence of primary and secondary amines, and these revealed the reactivity order alkenyl bromides > aryl bromides > alkenyl chlorides > aryl chlorides, as well as very high chemoselectivity; the more reactive halide was always favored. Thereafter, optimized reaction conditions for the sequential alkenyl amination/Heck cyclization to give indoles were investigated with the model reaction of o-bromoaniline with alpha-bromostyrene. An extensive screening of ligands, bases, and reaction conditions revealed that the [Pd2(dba)3]/DavePhos, NaOtBu, toluene combination at 100 degrees C were the optimized reaction conditions to carry out the cascade process (dba=dibenzylideneacetone, DavePhos=2-dicyclohexylphosphino-2'-N,N-dimethylaminobiphenyl). The reaction proceeds with aryl, alkyl, and functionalized substitutents in both starting reactants. The cyclization was also studied with N-substituted o-bromoanilines (which would give rise to N-substituted indoles); however, in this case, indole formation occurred only with 1-substituted-2-bromoalkenes. Finally, the application of this methodology to o-chloroanilines required further optimization. Although the catalyst based on DavePhos failed to promote the cascade process, a catalytic combination based on [Pd2(dba)3]/X-Phos promoted the formation of the indole ring also from the less reactive chloroanilines. 相似文献
