Gas chromatography/ion trap mass spectrometry with in-source ionization and dissociation was used in positive-ion chemical ionization (PICI) mode for the determination of organophosphate triesters in indoor air. These compounds are widely used as additive flame retardants and plasticizers in different types of materials and have become ubiquitous pollutants in indoor environments. When using collision-induced dissociation in PICI mode the fragmentation of the organophosphate triesters can be performed in a more controllable way than in electron ionization (EI) mode. The developed selected-reaction monitoring method provided high selectivity for the investigated compounds. For 8-h air measurements (corresponding to 1.5 m3 of sampled air) the limit of detection of the method was determined to be in the range 0.1-1.4 ng m(-3), which is comparable with nitrogen-phosphorus detection and about 50-fold lower than when using EI in selected-ion monitoring mode. The presented method was applied to samples from three common indoor environments, in which a number of organophosphate triesters were identified and quantified. The dominating compound was found to be tris(2-chloropropyl) phosphate, which occurred at levels up to 0.8 microg m(-3).  相似文献

The use of non-polar, small polymers as matrices for the analysis of low molecular weight compounds in polymer-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (PALDI-MS) is demonstrated. The matrices evaluated were either based on an oligothiophene or a benzodioxin backbone. Metallocenes, polycyclic hydrocarbons, a fluorosurfactant, and a subset of small organic compounds with various functionalities, served as model analytes. The mechanism of ionization charge transfer is discussed and ionization potentials for the matrices in the study have been estimated using density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Some of the results are possibly contradictory to the generally accepted limiting conditions for gas-phase charge-transfer reactions. These results are interpreted in the light of energy pooling. Also a new mass calibration procedure for the low-mass region in positive ion mode is presented, and some aspects of the ionization/desorption process leading to radical cations are studied.  相似文献

The pressure dependence of the reorientational correlation function for chloroform has been measured by analysis of the Raman 3019 cm? 1 A1 CH stretching lineshape at 1, 1000, and 2000 bar and 23°C. These reorientational correlation functions were obtained using the method of spectral Fourier deconvolution introduced by Bratos. The results are compared to the correlation times obtained from the NMR deuteron T1 relaxation times for CDCl3 and those calculated from high pressure viscosity measurements.  相似文献

A Cu2N2 diamond core structure, {(PNP)CuI}2 (2), supported by a [PNP]- ligand (1) ([PNP]- = bis(2-(diisobutylphosphino)phenyl)amide) has been prepared. 2 is highly emissive at ambient temperature in both the solid and solution states and is characterized by a relatively long-lived excited state (tau > 10 mus) and an unusually high quantum yield (phi > 0.65). These observations are consistent with a low degree of structural reorganization between the ground state of 2 and its excited state *2, and also with a high degree of steric protection of the two copper centers of 2 afforded by the bulky [PNP]- ligand. An estimate for the excited-state reduction potential of *2 (ca. -3.2 V vs Fc+/Fc), and the availability of two well-separated and reversible ground-state redox processes, suggests that bimetallic copper systems of these types may be interesting candidates to consider for photochemically driving multielectron redox transformations.  相似文献

A method for calculating the various components of the magnetically induced current-density tensor using gauge-including atomic orbitals is described. The method is formulated in the framework of analytical derivative theory, thus enabling implementation at the Hartree-Fock self-consistent-field (HF-SCF) as well as at electron-correlated levels. First-order induced current densities have been computed up to the coupled-cluster singles and doubles level (CCSD) augmented by a perturbative treatment of triple excitations [CCSD(T)] for carbon dioxide and benzene and up to the full coupled-cluster singles, doubles, and triples (CCSDT) level in the case of ozone. The applicability of the gauge including magnetically induced current method to larger molecules is demonstrated by computing first-order current densities for porphin and hexabenzocoronene at the HF-SCF and density-functional theory level. Furthermore, a scheme for obtaining quantitative values for the induced currents in a molecule via numerical integration over the current flow is presented. For benzene, a perpendicular magnetic field induces a (field dependent) ring current of 12.8 nA T(-1) at the HF-SCF level using a triple-zeta basis set augmented with polarization functions (TZP). At the CCSD(T)/TZP level the induced current was found to be 11.4 nA T(-1). Gauge invariance and its relation to charge-current conservation is discussed.  相似文献

To mimic the electron-donor side of photosystem II (PSII), three trinuclear ruthenium complexes (2, 2a, 2b) were synthesized. In these complexes, a mixed-valent dinuclear Ru2(II,III) moiety with one phenoxy and two acetato bridges is covalently linked to a Ru(II) tris-bipyridine photosensitizer. The properties and photoinduced electron/energy transfer of these complexes were studied. The results show that the Ru2(II,III) moieties in the complexes readily undergo reversible one-electron reduction and one-electron oxidation to give the Ru2(II,III) and Ru2(III,III) states, respectively. This could allow for photooxidation of the sensitizer part with an external acceptor and subsequent electron transfer from the dinuclear ruthenium moiety to regenerate the sensitizer. However, all trinuclear ruthenium complexes have a very short excited-state lifetime, in the range of a few nanoseconds to less than 100 ps. Studies by femtosecond time-resolved techniques suggest that a mixture of intramolecular energy and electron transfer between the dinuclear ruthenium moiety and the excited [Ru(bpy)3]2+ photosensitizer is responsible for the short lifetimes. This problem is overcome by anchoring the complexes with ester- or carboxyl-substituted bipyridine ligands (2a, 2b) to nanocrystalline TiO2, and the desired electron transfer from the excited state of the [Ru(bpy)3]2+ moiety to the conduction band of TiO2 followed by intramolecular electron transfer from the dinuclear Ru2(II,III) moiety to photogenerated Ru(III) was observed. The resulting long-lived Ru2(III,III) state decays on the millisecond timescale.  相似文献

The use of sol-gel materials can simplify the industrial fabrication of high-efficiency silicon solar cells if a suitable deposition method is established. In this work, we investigate the possibilities to adapt a borosilicate glass sol-gel to provide a stable screen printing process. This material has previously been used as a boron dopant source for silicon solar cells. We now use an adjusted synthesis process, with an increased gelling time and different additives. This changes the rheological properties (i.e., the elastic and viscous moduli G′ and G″) in a way that avoids the dripping of paste through the screen and that stabilizes the material transfer in subsequent printing steps. Using this synthesis process, we were able to show a printing process with long-term stability of more than 500 prints. When comparing the adjusted to the initial paste, we show that, after thermal treatment, the obtained thin films are very similar in terms of their constitution, with a refractive index between n = 1.47 (initial) and n = 1.55 (adjusted). We also show that they provide the same amount of doping under the tested conditions (950 °C, 30 min), resulting in sheet resistances of R = (42.5 ± 2.6) Ω/□ (initial) and R = (46.4 ± 3.6) Ω/□ (adjusted).  相似文献

Natural products are an excellent source of inspiration for the development of new drugs. Among them, betalains have been extensively studied for their antioxidant properties and potential application as natural food dyes. Herein, we describe the seven-step synthesis of new betalamic acid analogs without carboxy groups in the 2- and 6-position with an overall yield of ~70%. The Folin–Ciocalteu assay was used to determine the antioxidant properties of protected intermediate 21. Additionally, the five-step synthesis of betalamic acid analog 35 with three ester moieties was performed. Using NMR techniques, the stability of the obtained compounds towards oxygen was analyzed.  相似文献
