Co-crystallisation of the anionic cyanometallate chromophore [Ru(bipy)(CN)4]2- with Yb(III) provides coordination polymers or oligomers containing Ru-CN-Yb bridges; in [K(H2O)4][Yb(H2O)6][Ru(bipy)(CN)4]2.5H2O Ru-->Yb energy-transfer (k > 5 x 10(6) s(-1)) results in partial quenching of the Ru-based luminescence and sensitised near-IR luminescence from the Yb(III) unit.  相似文献

Bioassay directed-fractionation led to the identification of litseaverticillols A-H (1-8) from the leaves and twigs of Litsea verticillata Hance. These new sesquiterpenes possess a unique skeleton that was recently designated as ‘litseane’. The structures of these compounds were determined by spectroscopic means including 1D and 2D NMR data. Structural configurations were determined by ROESY experiments. Mosher ester reactions and optical rotation measurements established the sesquiterpenes 1-8 as racemates. Isolates 1-8 inhibited HIV-1 replication in HOG.R5 cells with IC50 values ranging from 2 to 15 μg/ml (8-58 μM) while affecting the growth of HOG.R5 at concentrations 2-3-fold higher. Based on this data, structure-activity relationships can be discerned, suggesting compounds of this class are good candidates for analog production.  相似文献

The metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) absorption and emission properties of several ruthenium(II)-bipyridine am(m)ine complexes are compared. The Gaussian deconvolution of the spectra indicates that: (a) the emission MLCT bandwidths are smaller than the absorption bandwidths for the first components of the apparent vibronic progressions; (b) the emission bands decrease in energy and width when a polypyridyl is replaced by an am(m)ine. The observations can be interpreted in terms of a two state model and the perturbation theory-based treatment of the attenuation of the effective reorganizational energy, λr =~ λr o(1- 4α2 DA), where λr o is the reorganizational energy corresponding to no mixing between the two electron transfer states and αDA = (HDA/EDA) is the mixing coefficient. Both the solvent and molecular contributions to λr are attenuated. The MLCT excited state lifetimes also decrease with am(m)ine substitution, and the non-radiative decay rate constant at 77 K is roughly proportional to the number of am(m)ine moieties coordinated to the ruthenium center.  相似文献

We study the interplay between Auger effects and ionization processes in the limit of strong electronic confinement in core/shell CdSe/ZnS semiconductor nanocrystal quantum dots. Spectrally resolved fluorescence decay measurements reveal a monotonic increase of the photoluminescence decay rate on excitation density. Our results suggest that Auger recombination accelerates ionization processes that lead to the occupation of dark, nonemissive nanocrystal states. A model is proposed in the quantized Auger regime describing these experimental observations and providing an estimate of the Auger assisted ionization rates.  相似文献

An arylrhodium(I) complex containing a labile dative ligand was prepared, and its reactivity toward aryl imines was investigated. The arylrhodium(I) complex (DPPE)Rh(C5H5N)(p-tol), 2, was isolated in 65% yield from [(DPPE)Rh(mu-Cl)]2, pyridine, and p-tolyllithium. Reaction of 2 with the aldimine (p-tol)CH=N(C6H4-p-CO2Me) (3a-Tol) gave the Rh amide insertion product 4 in 88% isolated yield. The solid-state structure of 4 was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The reaction of 2 with the electron-neutral and electron-rich aldimines (Ph)CH=NPh (3b) and (p-tol)CH=N(C6H4-p-OMe) (3c) also appeared to involve insertion, but the amido complexes formed from these insertions were not stable. Thus, reaction of 2 with 3b, followed by addition of Et3NHCl, gave the amine and ketimine products (Ph)(p-tol)CH-NHPh, 5, and (p-tol)(Ph)C=N(Ph), 6, in 25% and 50% yields. Several lines of data indicate that these products are formed by a sequence of transformations involving insertion of imine to give a Rh amide intermediate, beta-hydrogen elimination, cyclometalation to form a bound imine and H2, and protonolysis of the metallacycle upon addition of Et3NHCl. Consistent with this proposal, the proposed metallacycle containing the ortho-metalated ketimine ligand (p-tol)2C=N(C6H4-p-OMe) was isolated and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The optical and ESR spectra of electrochemically reduced phosphotungstate and polyphosphotungstate anions in phosphoric acid were examined as quantitative functions of W5+ concentration. The optical spectra obey Beer-Lambert laws and are similar to the spectra of reduced silicotungstate anions, indicating the secondary nature of the central cluster in the keggin structure with regard to interactions with the reduction electron. ESR spectra indicate an equivalent correspondence for the W5+ concentration and unpaired spins for the reduced polyphosphotungstate anion but for the reduced phosphotungstate anion monomer the unpaired spin concentration estimated by ESR was much lower than the W5+ concentration. Reacting reduced phosphotungstate anions with oxygen showed a I-electron reduction of the oxygen molecule with concomitant oxidation of W5+ to W6+ and possibly production of high-molecular-weight, polyanion clusters.  相似文献

Copolymers of methyl methacrylate with methyl and ethyl α-hydroxymethylacrylate and with α-hydroxymethylstyrene have been prepared with free-radical initiators at temperatures below 80°C. At higher reaction temperatures or under extrusion conditions, alcohol was eliminated and the free hydroxyl content was greatly decreased. All evidence indicates the formation of six-membered lactone groups in this post-polymerization reaction: direct evidence for their formation is lacking, however, since neither infrared nor nuclear magnetic resonance spectra could be used to detect lactonization in this system. The loss of activity from 14C ester-labeled methyl methacrylate copolymer on heating could be correlated with the extent of lactonization. The degree of lactonization is relatively less with copolymers containing higher amounts of hydroxymethyl groups. The resulting polymers exhibit higher heat distortion temperatures and decreased impact resistance when compared to poly(methyl methacrylate). Attempts were made to incorporate similar lactone structures by cyclocopolymerization with methyl methacrylate of α-methacryloxymethylstyrene or ethyl α-methacryloxymethylacrylate, but only crosslinked polymers or polymers with pendent unsaturation were found.  相似文献

Summary. A coupled semilinear elliptic problem modelling an irreversible, isothermal chemical reaction is introduced, and discretised using the usual piecewise linear Galerkin finite element approximation. An interesting feature of the problem is that a reaction order of less than one gives rise to a "dead core" region. Initially, one reactant is assumed to be acting as a catalyst and is kept constant. It is shown that error bounds previously obtained for a scheme involving numerical integration can be improved upon by considering a quadratic regularisation of the nonlinear term. This technique is then applied to the full coupled problem, and optimal and error bounds are proved in the absence of quadrature. For a scheme involving numerical integration, bounds similar to those obtained for the catalyst problem are shown to hold. Received May 25, 1993 / Revised version received July 5, 1994  相似文献

We consider a periodic-review inventory replenishment model with an order-up-to-R operating doctrine for the case of deterministic lead times and a covariance-stationary stochastic demand process. A method is derived for setting the inventory safety stock to achieve an exact desired stockout probability when the autocovariance function for Gaussian demand is known. Because the method does not require that parametric time-series models be fit to the data, it is easily implemented in practice. Moreover, the method is shown to be asymptotically valid when the autocovariance function of demand is estimated from historical data. The effects on the stockout rate of various levels of autocorrelated demand are demonstrated for situations in which autocorrelation in demand goes undetected or is ignored by the inventory manager. Similarly, the changes to the required level of safety stock are demonstrated for varying levels of autocorrelation.  相似文献
