Shock wave research for engineering physics

Abstract

In this paper, several recent activities on shock wave research for engineering physics performed in China will be presented as the supplement of author's previous report of Ref. 1.     

Study on the Intramolecular Hydrogen Bonds of Dibenzofurans, Xanthones and Anthraquinones with One or Two Positions Substituted by Hydroxyls

<正>The thermodynamic properties of dibenzofurans (DFs), xanthones (XTs) and an- thraquinones (AQs) with one and two positions substituted with hydroxyls in the ideal gas state at 298.15 K and 1.013×10~5 pa were calculated at the B3LYP/6-311G~* level using Gaussian 03 program. The isodesmic reactions were designed to calculate the standard free energy of formation (Δ_fG~e). Three types of hydrogen bonds exist in the three kinds of chemicals and their bond energies were ascertained as 7-15, 15-23 and 49-58 kJ·mol~(-1) respectively by comparing the Δ_fG~e values. Electronic density topology analysis was applied to validate the strength of bond.     

The Discrete Subgroups and Jфrgensen’s Inequality for SL(m,Cp)

In this paper, we give discreteness criteria of subgroups of the special linear group on Qp or Cp in two and higher dimensions. J rgensen's inequality gives a necessary condition for a nonelementary group of Mbius transformations to be discrete. We give a version of Jфrgensen's inequality for SL(m, Cp).

Nucleophilic imidoesterification of dicarbonyl compounds with cyanatobenzenes through C-C bond formation

Under neat conditions,an efficient method for synthesis of imidoesters has been developed using cyanatobenzenes and dicarbonyl compounds.Nucleophilic addition spontaneously occurred between the two kinds of materials at room temperature with yields of up to 90%.A mechanism directed towards to the imidoester formation has been proposed.     

Determination of chikusetsusaponin V and chikusetsusaponin IV in rat plasma by liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry and its application to a preliminary pharmacokinetic study

A sensitive liquid chromatography–electrospray ionization–mass spectrometry method has been developed and validated for determination of two major bioactive saponins in rat plasma after oral administration of saponins extracted from Rhizoma Panacis Japonici, including chikusetsusaponin V and chikusetsusaponin IV for the first time. Akebia saponin D was used as the internal standard (IS). Plasma samples were prepared by protein precipitation with methanol. A Phenomenex C₁₈ column (150 × 4.6 mm, 4 µm) was used as the analytical column with a mobile phase of acetonitrile and 0.05% aqueous formic acid. Mass spectrometric detection was achieved by single quadrupole mass spectrometer equipped with an electrospray ionization interface operating in negative ionization mode. Calibration curves showed good linearity over the concentration range of 5–500 ng/mL for the two analytes in rat plasma. The lower limit of quantification was 5 ng/mL. The intra‐ and inter‐batch precisions were within 10.3% and accuracy ranged from ?3.9 to 5.4%. The method was validated and successfully applied to the preliminary pharmacokinetic study of chikusetsusaponin V and chikusetsusaponin IV in rat plasma after oral administration of saponins extracted from Rhizoma Panacis Japonici. Studies on the Molecular Chain Conformation Stability of Aminated Konjac Glucomannan

Konjac glucomannan （KGM） was aminated by 2-chloroethyl-amine （CEA） as reagent so as to study the influence of concentration of CEA （based on the amount of KGM）, concentration of NaOH, reaction time and temperature on the extent of amination. And the molecular simulation technology was adopted to analyze the conformation stability of aminate （AKGM）. The results indicate that when the amount of CEA is higher, the extent of amination is higher. The optimum concentration of NaOH, reaction time and temperature are 10% NaOH, 70 ℃ and 45 rain, respectively. IR shows KGM is successfully aminated. The conformation of AKGM is in a random clew-like shape.
