We investigate the spectral response of nanostructured copper oxides thin film. Gold was doped in two different concentrations (2% and 4%) using the spray method. A novel ammonia gas sensor at various concentrations (0-500 ppm) was fabricated by replacing CuO films with a clad region. In addition, the effect of gold doping on structural, optical, and morphological properties has been demonstrated. The study shows that the spectral intensity increases linearly with ammonia concentration. The 4% Au doped CuO presents higher sensitivity compared with 2% doped and pure copper oxides. Time response characteristics of the sensor are also reported. 相似文献

The spectral analysis of refractive index for four-level configuration is done for dye molecules with a Gaussian form of coincident mirror-symmetric absorption and emission bands in both principal singlet?singlet and excited triplet?triplet channels. The optimum values of extinction coefficient in both channels are achieved at frequency tuning near the center of absorption band for each channel. The radiation frequencies in principal η12 ? ±2 and in excited ?1 < η34 < 1 channels are required to achieve the extreme values of refractive index in principal channel. The extreme values of refractive index in excited channel occur at frequencies ?1 < η12 < 1 and η34 ? ±1.4. 相似文献

In this paper we study the fractional Lagrangian of Pais–Uhlenbeck oscillator. We obtained the fractional Euler–Lagrangian equation of the system and then we studied the obtained Euler–Lagrangian equation numerically. The numerical study is based on the so-called Grünwald–Letnikov approach, which is power series expansion of the generating function (backward and forward difference) and it can be easy derived from the Grünwald–Letnikov definition of the fractional derivative. This approach is based on the fact, that Riemman–Liouville fractional derivative is equivalent to the Grünwald–Letnikov derivative for a wide class of the functions. 相似文献

A technique to approximate the solution to linear and nonlinear boundary value problems is developed and numerical examples are presented. The technique is based on the method of maximum entropy with moments of the differential equation used as constraints. The method is very general and has the advantage that additional information can be fed into the solution, such as the function's domain or the positivity or negativity of the solution. The technique should find applications in approximating solutions to equations which may or may not contain noise and as an alternative to finite difference and Fourier series solutions and may have applications to large scale simulations. 相似文献

This study explored a new approach to fabricate the Schiff base ligand system from both ethylenediamine and 3-chloro-2-butanone. Through coordination chemistry, the mercury Hg (II) complex was achieved from the ligand and then embedded in the polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) host using a solution casting technique to prepare polymer composites (PCs). Both UV–visible and Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopies highlighted the formation of the Hg (II) metal complex. These techniques confirmed the synthesis of the Hg (II) metal complex. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern of the polymer composite has shown a significant enhancement in its amorphous nature compared to the pure PVA host. The thermal analysis spectra for the Hg (II) complex revealed high thermal stability. The occurrence of the complexation between the Hg (II) and host matrix of the PVA was identified from the wide shifting of UV–vis absorption and peak shifting with intensity reduction of the FTIR spectra. Tauc's method has been employed to evaluate the optical band gap, and determine the types of electronic transitions. The results have shown that the samples were exhibiting an indirect forbidden electron transition, with a significant reduction in the optical band gap of a doped sample that approaching inorganic semiconductor based-materials. In addition, the optical study has exposed the role of the Hg (II) complex in tuning the refractive index of the host polymer. Ultimately, the absorption edge was found to be shifted to the lower photon energy upon the insertion of the Hg (II) complex. The PVA doped sample displayed a substantial shift in band gap from 6.2 eV to 1.2 eV. 相似文献
