Summary The reaction of trans-[Tcv(OH)(O)(DMPE)2]2+ (DMPE = 1,2-bis(dimethylphosphino)ethane) with a series of arenethiols in base produces the novel complexes cis-[TcIII-(SC6H4X-p)2 (DMPE)2]+ for X = H, Cl, Me, OMe, t-Bu. One of the complexes has been characterized by X-ray crystallography: cis-[Tc(SPh)2(DMPE)2]PF6, chemical formula Tc1S2P5F6C24H42, crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P21nb with Z = 4 and lattice parameters a = 9.311(1) Å, b=11.190(2) Å, c = 31.936(4) Å, Vol = 3327.3(8) Å3. The final weighted R-value was 0.033. Averaged structural parameters are Tc—S = 2.29(2) Å, Tc—P (trans to P) = 2.42(1) Å, Tc—P (trans to S) = 2.49(3) Å, Tc—S—C = 118.5(5)°. The complexes have been characterized by FAB mass spectrometry and u.v.-vis. spectroscopy. The visible region charge transfer bands are diagnostic for cis geometry in the [Tc(SR)2(DMPE)2]+ complexes. Electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical measurements show reversible TcIII/II redox couples in the range -0.19V to -0.38V versus Ag/AgCl (3 M NaCl). Irreversible couples are exhibited at ca. -1.1 V to -1.2 V for TcII/I and +0.7V to +0.9V for TcIV/III. The GlmS riboswitch is located in the 5'-untranslated region of the gene encoding glucosamine-6-phosphate (GlcN6P) synthetase. The GlmS riboswitch is a ribozyme with activity triggered by binding of the metabolite GlcN6P. Presented here is the structure of the GlmS ribozyme (2.5 A resolution) with GlcN6P bound in the active site. The GlmS ribozyme adopts a compact double pseudoknot tertiary structure, with two closely packed helical stacks. Recognition of GlcN6P is achieved through coordination of the phosphate moiety by two hydrated magnesium ions as well as specific nucleobase contacts to the GlcN6P sugar ring. Comparison of this activator bound and the previously published apoenzyme complex supports a model in which GlcN6P does not induce a conformational change in the RNA, as is typical of other riboswitches, but instead functions as a catalytic cofactor for the reaction. This demonstrates that RNA, like protein enzymes, can employ the chemical diversity of small molecules to promote catalytic activity. 相似文献

The photosensitization effect of three perylene dye derivatives on titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2 NPs) has been investigated. The dyes used, 1,7‐dibromoperylene‐3,4,9,10‐tetracarboxy dianhydride (1), 1,7‐dipyrrolidinylperylene‐3,4,9,10‐tetracarboxy dianhydride (2) and 1,7‐bis(4‐tert‐butylphenyloxy)perylene‐3,4,9,10‐tetracarboxy dianhydride (3) have in common bisanhydride groups that convert into TiO2 binding groups upon hydrolysis. The different substituents on the bay position of the dyes enable tuning of their redox properties to yield significantly different driving forces for photoinduced electron transfer (PeT). Recently developed TiO2 NPs having a small average size and a narrow distribution (4 ± 1 nm) are used in this work to prepare the dye‐TiO2 systems under study. Whereas successful sensitization was obtained with 1 and 2 as evidenced by steady‐state spectral shifts and transient absorption results, no evidence for the attachment of 3 to TiO2 was observed. The comparison of the rates of PeT (kPeT) for 1‐ and 2‐TiO2 systems studied in this work with those obtained for previously reported analogous systems, having TiO2 NPs covered by a surfactant layer (Hernandez et al. [2012] J. Phys. Chem. B., 117, 4568–4581), indicates that kPeT for the former systems is slower than that for the later. These results are interpreted in terms of the different energy values of the conduction band edge in each system. 相似文献

Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) bearing pendant carbohydrate functionality are frequently employed to tailor glycan-specific bioactivity onto gold substrates. The resulting glycoSAMs are valuable for interrogating glycan-mediated biological interactions via surface analytical techniques, microarrays, and label-free biosensors. GlycoSAM composition can be readily modified during assembly by using mixed solutions containing thiolated species, including carbohydrates, oligo(ethylene glycol) (OEG), and other inert moieties. This intrinsic tunability of the self-assembled system is frequently used to optimize bioavailability and antibiofouling properties of the resulting SAM. However, until now, our nanoscale understanding of the behavior of these mixed glycoSAMs has lacked detail. In this study, we examined the time-dependent clustering of mixed sugar + OEG glycoSAMs on ultraflat gold substrates. Composition and surface morphologic changes in the monolayers were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and atomic force microscopy (AFM), respectively. We provide evidence that the observed clustering is consistent with a phase separation process in which surface-bound glycans self-associate to form dense glycoclusters within the monolayer. These observations have significant implications for the construction of mixed glycoSAMs for use in biosensing and glycomics applications. 相似文献

According to the great impact of additive technology on the development of modern industry, a lot of research is being done to obtain 3D printed parts with better properties. This research is extremely important because there are no scientific papers in the field of post dyeing of acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene (ABS) 3D printed parts. The experiment was carried out using disperse dyes on ABS specimens. The obtained coloration of the specimens was in the primary colors (yellow, red, and blue) in the specified dyestuff concentration range and was evaluated using an objective CIELab system. Based on the obtained color parameters, remission values and Kubelka-Munk coefficient, dye mixtures and an ombre effect were performed to obtain patterns in the desired hues. Abrasion resistance of disperse dyed specimens was tested using different abrasive materials over a wide range of fineness to simulate different indoor and outdoor soils and was compared to abrasion resistance of specimens produced from the industrially dyed wire with the master batch. The results show that 3D printed ABS products can be produced in one or more desired shades with satisfactory abrasion resistance. From the current-voltage characteristics for the collisionless sheath the dependence of the self-bias on the plasma parameters (electron temperature, ratio of electron temperatures and electron densities at the two electrodes), on the applied external voltage, and on the ratio of the electrode areas is investigated. Sinusoidal (is well as periodic rectangular and triangular time dependences of the voltage are considered. The integral equation for the self bias voltage is solved numerically. For large external RF voltages in comparison to the floating potential, simple analytical formulas result for the dependence of the bias voltage on the plasma parameters and the dimensions of the electrodes, which can be useful in practice. 相似文献

The crystal structures of [MnTPP]{Ni[S2C2H(CN)]2} [MnTPP = (meso-tetraphenylporphinato)manganese(III)] and [MnTPP]{Ni[S2C2(CN)2]2} have been determined. These salts possess trans-mu-coordination of S = 1/2 {Ni[S2C2H(CN)]2}*- and {Ni[S(2)C(2)(CN)(2)](2)}*- to Mn(III) and form parallel 1-D coordination polymer chains exhibiting nu(CN) at 2210 and 2200 and 2220 and 2212 cm(-1), respectively. The bis(dithiolato) monoanions are planar and bridge two cations with MnN distances of 2.339(16), and 2.394(3) A, respectively, which are comparable to related MnN distances observed for [MnTPP][TCNE].x(solvates). In addition, [MnTP'P]{Ni[S2C2(CN)2]2} {H2TP'P = meso-tetrakis[3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)porphyrin] and [MnTP'P(OH2)]{Ni[S2C2(CN)2]2} were prepared. The latter forms isolated paramagnetic ions. The room-temperature values of chiT for 1-D [MnTPP]{Ni[S2C2H(CN)]2}, [MnTPP]{Ni[S2C2(CN)2]2}, and [MnTP'P]{Ni[S2C2(CN)2]2} are 2.55, 3.28, and 2.86 emu K/mol, respectively. Susceptibility (chi) measurements between 2 and 300 K reveal weak antiferromagnetic interactions with theta= -5.9 and -0.2 K for [MnTPP]{Ni[S(2)C(2)H(CN)](2)} and [MnTPP]{Ni[S2C2(CN)2]2}, respectively, and stronger antiferromagnetic coupling of -50 K for [MnTP'P]{Ni[S2C2(CN)2]2} from fits of chi(T) to the Curie-Weiss law. The 1-D intrachain coupling, J(intra), of [MnTPP]{Ni[S2C2H(CN)]2} and [MnTPP]{Ni[S2C2(CN)2]2} was determined from modeling chiT(T) by the Seiden expression (H = -2JSi.Sj) with J/kB = -8.00 K (-5.55 cm(-1); -0.65 meV) for [MnTPP]{Ni[S2C2H(CN)]2}, J/kB = -3.00 K (-2.08 cm(-1); -0.25 meV) for [MnTP'P]{Ni[S2C2(CN)2]2}, and J/kB = -122 K (-85 cm(-1)) for [MnTP'P]{Ni[S2C2(CN)2]2}. These observed negative J(intra)/kB values are indicative of antiferromagnetic coupling. These materials order as ferrimagnets at 5.5, 2.3, and 8.0 K, for [MnTPP]{Ni[S2C2H(CN)]2}, [MnTPP]{Ni[S2C2(CN)2]2}, and [MnTP'P]{Ni[S2C2(CN)2]2}, respectively, based upon the temperature at which maximum in the 10 Hz chi'(T) data occurs. [MnTP'P]{Ni[S2C2(CN)2]2} has a coercivity of 17,700 Oe and remanent magnetizations of 7250 emu Oe/mol at 2 K and 17 Oe and 850 emu Oe/mol at 5 K; hence, upon cooling it goes from being a soft magnet to being a very hard magnet. 相似文献

Fentanyl and 16 of its corresponding homologs and analogs were distinguished using ultra-high-pressure liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC–MS/MS). A 1.7 μm Acquity BEH C18 column (150 mm × 2.1 mm) was used with a 1% formic acid (pH 2.2), methanol gradient. Multiple-reaction monitoring (MRM) was employed for MS/MS detection.
