We study distributions which generalize the concept of spectral shift function, for pseudo-differential operators on . We call such distributions spectral distributions. Relations between relative scattering determinants and spectral distributions are established; they lead to the definition of regularized scattering phase. These relations are analogous to the usual one for the standard spectral shift function. We give several asymptotic properties in the high energy and semiclassical limits where both nontrapping and trapping cases are considered. The goal programming (GP) model is probably the best known in mathematical programming with multiple objectives. Available in various versions, GP is one of the most powerful multiple objective methods which has been applied in much varied fields. It has also been the target of many criticisms among which are those related to the difficulty of determining precisely the goal values as well as those concerning the decision-maker's near absence in this modelling process. In this paper, we will use the concept of indifference thresholds for modelling the imprecision related to the goal values. The slow-to-start mechanism is known to play an important role in the particular shape of the Fundamental Diagram of traffic and to be associated to hysteresis effects of traffic flow. We study this question in the context of exclusion and queueing processes, by including an asymmetry between deceleration and acceleration in the formulation of these processes. For exclusions processes, this corresponds to a multi-class process with transition asymmetry between different speed levels, while for queueing processes we consider non-reversible stochastic dependency of the service rate w.r.t. the number of clients. The relationship between these 2 families of models is analyzed on the ring geometry, along with their steady state properties. Spatial condensation phenomena and metastability are observed, depending on the level of the aforementioned asymmetry. In addition, we provide a large deviation formulation of the fundamental diagram which includes the level of fluctuations, in the canonical ensemble when the stationary state is expressed as a product form of such generalized queues. 相似文献

This work focuses on interstitial solid solutions of hydrogen in the face-centred cubic (fcc) host lattice of palladium and nickel, using a first-principles based approach. Cluster Variation Method (CVM) and Monte Carlo simulation algorithms were especially designed, allowing a coupled use of both techniques, to study hydrogen–vacancy interactions inside an fcc metallic host lattice. First-principles calculations provided the H–Vac interaction energies by structure inversion method. The phase diagrams and thermodynamic properties were computed using only theoretical inputs. The mechanisms leading to the formation of the miscibility gaps observed for both Pd–H and Ni–H systems and the hydrogen ordering on palladium interstitial lattice were reproduced without any empirical term. 相似文献
