Ab initio ground state potential energy surfaces are obtained from interaction energies calculated with the coupled cluster singles and doubles model including connected triples corrections [CCSD(T)] and the aug-cc-pVXZ (X=5,Q,T,D) basis sets augmented with two different sets of midbond functions (denoted 33221 and 33211). The aug-cc-pV5Z-33221 surface is characterized by a T-shaped 49.5 cm(-1) minimum at Re=3.38 Angstroms and a linear saddle point at 3.95 Angstroms with De=36.6 cm(-1). These results agree well with the values provided by the accurate semiempirical potentials available. The rovibronic spectroscopic properties are determined and compared to the available experimental data and previous theoretical results. We study the basis set convergence of the intermolecular potentials and the rotational frequencies. The aug-cc-pVTZ basis sets provide reasonable binding parameters, but seem not to be converged enough for the evaluation of the microwave spectra. The aug-cc-pVQZ basis sets considerably improve the triple zeta results. The differences between the results obtained with the aug-cc-pVTZ-33221 basis set surface and those with the aug-cc-pVQZ-33221 are smaller than those of the corresponding bases with the set of 33211 midbond functions. The aug-cc-pVQZ surfaces are close to the aug-cc-pV5Z, that are expected to be close to convergence. With our best surfaces the errors in the frequencies with respect to the accurate experimental results go down to 0.6%.  相似文献

This paper describes a method for the simultaneous determination of As(III), Sb(III) and Se(IV) by combining hydride generation and gas phase molecular absorption spectrometry. A system for continuous hydride generation has been designed and developed, based on the use of a double process of gas-liquid separation, and optimal compromise operation conditions for the three compounds have been found. After generation, the hydrides are collected in a liquid nitrogen cryogenic trap, and then evaporated and driven to the flow cell of a diode array spectrophotometer, in which the transient signals over the 190–250 nm wavelength interval are measured. Under the recommended conditions (sample flow: 35 ml min−1, 0.5 M HCl; reductor flow: 4 ml min−1 of 4% NaBH4, solution) linear response ranges above 50 μg 1−1 for As(III), 30 μg 1−1 for Sb(III) and 200 μg 1−1 for Se(IV) are obtained with detection limits of 22 μg 1−1, 15 μg 1−1 and 65 μg 1−1, respectively. Multiwavelength linear regression equations were used for the simultaneous determination of the three elements in different synthetic samples, with good precision and accuracy and to study simultaneously the interference from different chemical species for the three compounds. Results were similar to those obtained by other techniques using hydride generation.  相似文献

The electrical conductivities of sodium chloride and sodium iodide solutions in formamide-water mixtures of different composition have been measured at 25°C. From these data, the limiting equivalent conductances for these salts have been determined. The correspondingWalden products are compared together with the one reported for sodium bromide in the same solvent mixtures, and they are analysed as functions of the anion size. Further, the limiting ionic equivalent conductances are estimated for the different ions. The variation of the ionicWalden products with solvent composition is discussed in terms of ionic solvation and solvent structure.

Zusammenfassung Es wurden die elektrischen Leitfähigkeiten von Natriumchlorid- und Natriumjodidlösungen in Formamid-Wasser-Mischungen verschiedener Zusammensetzung bei 25°C gemessen. Aus diesen Daten wurden die Grenzäquivalenzleitfähigkeiten für diese Salze bestimmt. Die entsprechendenWalden-Produkte wurden mit den für Natriumbromid in den gleichen Lösungsmittelgemischen berichteten verglichen und hinsichtlich der Anionengrößen analysiert. Außerdem wurden die ionischen Grenzäquivalenzleitfähigkeiten für die einzelnen Ionen abgeschätzt. Die Variation der ionischenWalden-Produkte mit der Lösungsmittelzusammensetzung wurde bezüglich Ionensolvatation und Lösungsmittelstruktur diskutiert.

From an accurate ground state intermolecular potential energy surface we evaluate the rovibrational spectrum of the Ne-HCl van der Waals complex. The intermolecular potential is obtained by fitting a considerable number of interaction energies obtained at the coupled cluster singles and doubles including connected triple excitations level and with the augmented correlation consistent polarized valence quintuple zeta basis set extended with a set of 3s3p2d1f1g midbond functions. This basis set is selected after a systematic basis set study carried out at geometries close to those of the three main surface stationary points. The surface is characterized by two linear minima, i.e. Ne-ClH and Ne-HCl, with distances from the Ne atom to the HCl center of mass of 3.398 and 3.833 angstroms, respectively; and binding energies of -65.10 and -66.85 cm(-1), respectively. These results agree well with the experimental data available in contrast to previous theoretical results. The rovibrational spectra calculated for the different isotopic species are also compared to the experiments.  相似文献

The beryllocenes [Be(C(5)Me(4)H)(2)] (1), [Be(C(5)Me(5))(2)] (2), and [Be(C(5)Me(5))(C(5)Me(4)H)] (3) have been prepared from BeCl(2) and the appropriate KCp' reagent in toluene/diethyl ether solvent mixtures. The synthesis of 1 is facile (20 degrees C, overnight), but generation of decamethylberyllocene 2 demands high temperatures (ca. 115 degrees C) and extended reaction times (3-4 days). The mixed-ring beryllocene 3 is obtained when the known [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))BeCl] is allowed to react with K[C(5)Me(4)H], once more under somewhat forcing conditions (115 degrees C, 36 h). The structures of the three metallocenes have been determined by low-temperature X-ray studies. Both 1 and 3 present eta5/eta1 geometries of the slip-sandwich type, whereas 2 exhibits an almost regular, ferrocene-like, sandwich structure. In the mixed-ring compound 3, C(5)Me(5) is centrally bound to beryllium and the eta(1)-C(5)Me(4)H ring bonds to the metal through the unique CH carbon atom. This is also the binding mode of the eta(1)-ring of 1. To analyze the nature of the bonding in these molecules, theoretical calculations at different levels of theory have been performed on compounds 2 and 3, and a comparison with the bonding in [Be(C(5)H(5))(2)] has been made. As for the latter molecule, energy differences between the eta5/eta5 and the eta5/eta1 structures of 2 are very small, being of the order of a few kcal mol(-1). Constrained space orbital variations (CSOV) calculations show that the covalent character in the bonding is larger for [Be(C(5)Me(5))(2)] than for [Be(C(5)H(5))(2)] due to larger charge delocalization and to increased polarizability of the C(5)Me(5) fragment.  相似文献

Secondary beta-deuterium kinetic isotope effects have been measured as a function of substrate concentration for recombinant human butyrylcholinesterase-catalyzed hydrolysis of acetyl-L3-thiocholine (L = 1H or 2H). The isotope effect on V/K is inverse, D3V/K = 0.93 +/- 0.03, which is consistent with conversion of the sp2 hybridized carbonyl carbon of the scissile ester bond of the E + A reactant state to a quasi-tetrahedral structure in the acylation transition state. In contrast, the isotope effect on Vmax under conditions of substrate activation is markedly normal, D3(betaVmax) = 1.29 +/- 0.06, an observation that is consistent with accumulation of a tetrahedral intermediate as the reactant state for catalytic turnover. Generally, tetrahedral intermediates for nonenzymatic ester hydrolyses are high-energy steady-state intermediates. Apparently, butyrylcholinesterase displays an unusual ability to stabilize such intermediates. Hence, the catalytic power of cholinesterases can largely be understood in terms of their ability to stabilize tetrahedral intermediates in the multistep reaction mechanism.  相似文献

A series of cis-{RuCl2(PPh3)2[4,4-(X)2-2,2-bipy]} [cis-chlorines; X=-H, -Me, -SMe, and (-Cl,-Me)] complexes have had their structures determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The geometry of these complexes, also determined in CH2Cl2 solution by 31P{1H}-n.m.r. spectroscopy, showed that the chemical shifts for the phosphorus atoms are slightly dependent on the pKa of the 4,4-(-X)2-2,2-bipy ligands.  相似文献

The electrochemistry of monoclinic and tetragonal vanadium-doped zirconias (VZrO2), prepared from gel precursors with vanadium loadings ranging from 0.5 to 15 mol%, has been studied using abrasive-conditioned graphite/polyester composite electrodes immersed in aqueous HCl and HClO4 solutions. Isolated vanadium centers form a solid solution in the zirconia lattice with a solubility limit close to 5 mol%. Above 5 mol%, finely dispersed V2O5 is formed. Vanadium centers located at the boundary sites of the zirconia lattice display successive one-electron transfer processes near to +0.25 and +0.10 V vs. SCE, whereas finely dispersed V2O5 yields three successive reduction processes at +0.46, +0.30, and +0.16 V vs. SCE. Electrochemical data indicate the presence of both V5+ and V4+ centers in the lattice of monoclinic and tetragonal zirconias, the V5+/V4+ ratio decreasing as the vanadium loading increases. The ab initio two-state model for electron transfer induced by an external electric field has been applied to the chloride oxidation on Cu, Rh, Pd, Ag, Pt and Au (001) surface models. The two electronic states involved in the model represent physical situations where the electron transferred from the chloride anion to the metal surface lies either on the halide or on the metal substrate. The model assumes that electron transfer takes place when these two states become degenerate and this is achieved by applying an external electric field. Two different situations representing either ultrahigh vacuum or electrochemical conditions have been considered. For the former the present study shows that electric field necessary to achieve degeneracy of the two electronic states is directly related to the metal surface work function whereas for the latter, it is found to be rather insensitive to the metal surface.  相似文献

Reduction of the tethered carborane 1,2-(CH2)3-1,2-closo-C2B10H10 followed by treatment with CoCl2/NaCp, [(p-cymene)RuCl2]2(p-cymene=C6H4MeiPr-1,4), (PMe2Ph)2PtCl2 or (dppe)NiCl2(dppe=Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) affords reasonable yields of the new 13-vertex metallacarboranes 1,2-(CH2)3-4-Cp-4,1,2-closo-CoC2B10H10 (1), 1,2-(CH2)3-4-(p-cymene)-4,1,2-closo-RuC2B10H10 (2), 1,2-(CH2)3-4,4-(PMe2Ph)2-4,1,2-closo-PtC2B10H10 (3) and 1,2-(CH2)3-4,4-(dppe)-4,1,2-closo-NiC2B10H10 (4), respectively. All compounds were characterised spectroscopically and crystallographically. The cobalt and ruthenium species 1 and 2 have Cs symmetry in both solution and the solid state, having henicosahedral cage structures featuring a trapezoidal C1C2B9B5 face. The platinum and nickel compounds 3 and 4 have asymmetric docosahedral cage structures in the crystal (the more so for 4 than for 3) although both appear, by 11B and 31P NMR spectroscopy, to have Cs symmetry in solution. Low-temperature experiments on the more soluble platinacarborane could not freeze out the diamond-trapezium-diamond fluctional process that we assume is operating in solution, and we therefore conclude that this process has a relatively low activation barrier, probably <35 kJ mol-1.  相似文献
