We report on a simple and sensitive method for the determination of tetracycline based on its reducing action on AgNO3 in alkaline medium containing ammonia and sodium hydroxide at 65°C. As a result of this reaction, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are formed. The AgNPs are stabilized in solution by adding poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) as a capping agent. The formed AgNPs were identified by surface plasmon resonance absorption spectrum and transmission electron microscopy image. The plasmon absorption peak at 411 nm is proportional to the concentration of tetracycline. The calibration graph is linear in the concentration range of 0.05–5.0 mg/L with a detection limit of 0.013 mg/L. This method was applied to the determination of tetracycline in pharmaceutical products.  相似文献

Anabolic androgenic steroids are widely used by athletes for increasing their muscle mass. These drugs are also used by some patients with chronic renal disease. But the effect of these drugs on the renal structure has received less attention. To investigate which parts of the kidney are affected by these drugs, mice kidneys were studied stereologically after injection of nandrolone decanoate (ND), an anabolic androgenic steroid. The treated group received nandrolone decanoate intraperitoneally (solved in olive oil) in doses of 3mg/kg of body weight and administered in one, two and three doses, respectively, in the first, second and third week of treatment. The mice in the control group received an olive oil solution. One week after the last injection, the mice were anaesthetized and their kidney removed. The analysis of data revealed that the weight of kidney was increased approximately 30% (p < or = 0.006) and its volume increased approximately 25% (p < or = 0.02) in ND treated mice in comparison with the control group. The volume of the cortex increased in ND treated animals approximately 44% (p < or = 0.006). Proximal convoluted tubules (PCT) and distal convoluted tubules (DCT) volume increased approximately 25% (p < or = 0.02) and approximately 68% (p < or = 0.02) in ND treated mice. The volume of glomeruli, other ducts, connective tissues, vessels and the length of PCT, DCT, collecting and Henle's ducts and vessels did not show significant differences. CONCLUSION: ND can increase the volume of the renal cortex and its two main parts, i.e. PCT and DCT in mice.  相似文献

We report on a sensitive, reliable and relatively fast method for separation, preconcentration and determination of trace quantities of copper(II) ion. It is making use of nanometer-sized γ-alumina nanoparticles modified with sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). The adsorptive potential was assessed via a Langmuir isotherm and the maximal sorption capacity was found to be 138 mg g-1. The effects of pH values, amount of ligand, flow rate, type of eluting agent, volume of eluent, and the volume of sample were examined. The effects of interfering ions on the recovery of the analyte were also investigated. Copper ion was then determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The relative standard deviation for five replicate determinations (at 50 μg L?1 of copper) is 3.3%. The detection limit (at 3 s) is 2.5 μg L?1. This method was validated with a certified reference material of oyster tissue (NIST SRM 1566b) and the results coincided well with the certified values. The procedure was successfully applied to the determination of Cu in water and food samples.

Effects of nanoscale iron oxide particles on textural structure, reduction, carburization and catalytic behavior of precipitated iron catalyst in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) are investigated. Nanostructured iron catalysts were prepared by microemulsion method in two series. Firstly, Fe2O3, CuO and La2O3 nanoparticles were prepared separately and were mixed to attain Fe/Cu/La nanostructured catalyst (sep-nano catalyst); Secondly nanostructured catalyst was prepared by co-precipitation in a water-in-oil microemulsion method (mix-nano catalyst). Also, conventional iron catalyst was prepared with common co-precipitation method. Structural characterizations of the catalysts were performed by TEM, XRD, H2 and CO-TPR tests. Particle size of iron oxides for sep-nano and mix-nano catalysts, which were determined by XRD pattern (Scherrer equation) and TEM images was about 20 and 21.6 nm, respectively. Catalyst evaluation was conducted in a fixed-bed stainless steel reactor and compared with conventional iron catalyst. The results revealed that FTS reaction increased while WGS reaction and olefin/paraffin ratio decreased in nanostructured iron catalysts.  相似文献

Liquid phase room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) properties of melatonin were studied using heavy atom induced-room temperature phosphorescence (HAI-RTP) technique. 1.2 M potassium iodide was used as a heavy atom reagent together with 0.002 M sodium sulphite as deoxygenating agent to produce the RTP signal. The maximum phosphorescence emission and excitation wavelengths of melatonin were 290 and 457 nm, respectively. The effect of potassium iodide concentration on the RTP lifetime of melatonin was also investigated and based on the results, the rate constants for phosphorescence decay (k(p)) and radiationless deactivation through reaction with heavy atom (k(h)) were determined. Based on the obtained results, a simple and sensitive room temperature phosphorimetric method was developed for the determination of melatonin. The method allowed the determination of 10.0-200 ng ml(-1) melatonin in aqueous solution with the limits of detection and quantification of 3.6 and 12 ng ml(-1), respectively. The proposed method was satisfactorily applied to the determination of melatonin in commercial pharmaceutical formulations.  相似文献

We give a definition, in the ring language, of ZpZp inside QpQp and of Fp[[t]]Fp[[t]] inside Fp((t))Fp((t)), which works uniformly for all p   and all finite field extensions of these fields, and in many other Henselian valued fields as well. The formula can be taken existential-universal in the ring language, and in fact existential in a modification of the language of Macintyre. Furthermore, we show the negative result that in the language of rings there does not exist a uniform definition by an existential formula and neither by a universal formula for the valuation rings of all the finite extensions of a given Henselian valued field. We also show that there is no existential formula of the ring language defining ZpZp inside QpQp uniformly for all p  . For any fixed finite extension of QpQp, we give an existential formula and a universal formula in the ring language which define the valuation ring.  相似文献
