The paper presents a summary of the recent development of the multi-purpose Monte Carlo Particle and Heavy Ion Transport code System, PHITS. In particular, we discuss in detail the development of two new models, JAM and JQMD, for high energy particle interactions, incorporated in PHITS, and show comparisons between model calculations and experiments for the validations of these models. The paper presents three applications of the code including spallation neutron source, heavy ion therapy and space radiation. The results and examples shown indicate PHITS has great ability of carrying out the radiation transport analysis of almost all particles including heavy ions within a wide energy range.  相似文献

This paper discusses a single-item, multi-stage, serial Just-in-Time (JIT) production system with stochastic demand and production capacities. The JIT production system is modeled as a discrete-time, M/G/1-type Markov chain. A necessary and sufficient condition, or a stability condition, under which the system has a steady-state distribution is derived. A performance evaluation algorithm is then developed using the matrix analytic methods. In numerical examples, the optimal numbers of kanbans are determined by the proposed algorithm. The optimal numbers of kanbans are robust for the variations in production capacity distribution and demand distribution.  相似文献

The effectiveness of reduced graphene oxide as a solid electron mediator for water splitting in the Z-scheme photocatalysis system is demonstrated. We show that a tailor-made, photoreduced graphene oxide can shuttle photogenerated electrons from an O(2)-evolving photocatalyst (BiVO(4)) to a H(2)-evolving photocatalyst (Ru/SrTiO(3):Rh), tripling the consumption of electron-hole pairs in the water splitting reaction under visible-light irradiation.  相似文献

Conditional inference about a mean of an inverse Gaussian distribution with known coefficient of variation is discussed. For a random sample from the distribution, sufficient statistics with respect to the mean parameter include an ancillary statistic. The effects of conditioning on the ancillary statistic are investigated. It is shown that the model provides a good illustration of R. A. The ultramicrodetermination of cyanocobalamin (9 ng/g) in elemental diet containing 46 kinds of compounds, with concentrations at least 50–106 times higher than that of cyanocobalamin, was performed by Sep-Pak C18 purification and concentration of cyanocobalamin followed by HPLC with detection at 550 nm. The method is simple, rapid, sensitive and reproducible. The calibration graph was linear in the range of 0-0.2 μg. The recovery of cyanocobalamin was over 95% by the standard addition method. There was good agreement between the cyanocobalamin concentrations indicated and found.  相似文献
