The transmission factor of multilayer Wood filters containing quartz and rutile layers was simulated in order to avoid the experimental trials for obtaining optical filters with predicted transmission. The main refractive indices of uniaxial crystals—quartz and rutile—were interferometrically determined and Cauchy constants were obtained by simulation. We describe the sub-bimodules of matrix bimodules over two structural matrix rings. Structural matrix bimodules arise as particular such sub-bimodules, and we discuss when such a bimodule is faithful or indecomposable. As an application, we obtain a large class of rings whose Jordan isomorphisms are either ring isomorphisms or ring anti-isomorphisms. Complete upper block triangular matrix rings over 2-torsion-free indecomposable rings are elements of this class.  相似文献

We consider a two-component reaction-diffusion system with a nonlocal reaction term. A necessary condition and a sufficient condition for the internal stabilizability to zero of one of the two components of the solution while preserving the nonnegativity of both components have been established in [6 S. The rate of stabilization (for the indicated feedback control) is given by the principal eigenvalue of a certain non-selfadjoint operator. A large principal eigenvalue leads to a fast stabilization. The first main goal of this article is to approximate this principal eigenvalue. This is done in two steps. First, we investigate the large-time behavior of the solution to a logistic population dynamics with migration, and next we derive as a consequence a method to approximate the principal eigenvalue. The other main goal is to derive a conceptual iterative algorithm to improve the position of the support of the control in order to get a faster stabilization. The capacities of Pleurotus ostreatus mushroom and spent substrate were evaluated for the biosorption of cadmium (II) from aqueous solution in order to select the most efficient material for bioremediation. The optimum sorption conditions were optimized, including the pH of the aqueous solution, contact time, biomass dosage, initial metal concentration, and temperature. The sorption of cadmium on both biosorbents was also evaluated by several kinetic, equilibrium, and thermodynamic models. The possible heavy metal biosorption mechanisms were evaluated through point of zero charge (pHpzc), Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis (SEM-EDX). Based on the results of column studies, the effectiveness of the P. ostreatus spent substrate was confirmed as a biosorbent for Cd(II) removal from aqueous solutions.  相似文献

The encouraging selectivity of copper oxides for the electroreduction of CO2 into ethylene and alcohols has led to a vivid debate on the possible relation between their operando (sub-)surface oxidation state (i. e. fully reduced or partially oxidized) and this distinct reactivity. The high roughness of the Cu oxides used in previous studies on this matter adds complexity to this controversy and motivated us to prepare quasi-planar Cu2O thin films that displayed a CO2 reduction selectivity similar to that of oxide-derived copper catalysts reported in previous studies. Most importantly, when the post-mortem thin films were transferred for characterization in an air-free environment, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements confirmed their complete reduction in the course of the CO2 reduction reaction. Thus, our results indicate that the selectivity of the Cu oxides featured in previous studies stems from their enhanced roughness, highlighting the importance of controlled sample transfer upon post-mortem characterization with ex situ techniques.  相似文献

A static and dynamic investigation was performed on liquid crystal cells containing pure nematics and nematics doped with an azo-dye (Methyl Orange). It was found that the critical field for magnetic Freedericksz transition was decreased in samples containing the “trans” isomer and increased in those containing the “cis  ” isomer. Changes in the relaxation time τAτA, τBτB intervening when switching on/off the magnetic field were also noticed. A theoretical model was elaborated to explain these phenomena.  相似文献

Spin-crossover complexes with multistep transitions attract much attention due to their potential applications as multi-switches and for data storage. A four-step spin crossover is observed in the new iron(II)-based cyanometallic guest-free framework compound Fe(2-ethoxypyrazine)2{Ag(CN)2}2 during the transition from the low-spin to the high-spin state. A reverse process occurs in three steps. Crystallographic studies reveal an associated stepwise evolution of the crystal structures. Multiple transitions in the reported complex originate from distinct FeII sites which exist due to the packing of the ligand with a bulky substituent.  相似文献
