The olive tree (Olea europaea L.) can be affected by Colletotrichum acutatum, causing a loss of yield and quality of the final products, whilst the incidence of this fungal infection depends on several factors, including cultivar susceptibility. Thus, the effect of C. acutatum infection in cultivars displaying different susceptibilities to this fungal disease (‘Galega Vulgar’ ‐ susceptible, ‘Cobrançosa’ ‐ moderately susceptible, ‘Picual’ ‐ tolerant) has been assessed through spectrophotometric methods and HPLC, while the FTIR spectra of the cuticles have been concomitantly registered, resorting to the ATR accessory. With the support of multivariate analysis, these spectra allowed to discriminate olives with distinct infection times, besides retrieving evidences concerning the different susceptibility of each cultivar, while these observations were reinforced by the spectrophotometric and chromatographic methods. Furthermore, the assessment of the phenolic profile evidenced individual compounds in the distinct cultivars, so as their variations in response to the fungal infection. 相似文献

Oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is the most critical step in water splitting, still limiting the development of efficient alkaline water electrolyzers. Here we investigate the OER activity of Au–Fe nanoalloys obtained by laser-ablation synthesis in solution. This method allows a high amount of iron (up to 11 at %) to be incorporated into the gold lattice, which is not possible in Au–Fe alloys synthesized by other routes, due to thermodynamic constraints. The Au0.89Fe0.11 nanoalloys exhibit strongly enhanced OER in comparison to the individual pure metal nanoparticles, lowering the onset of OER and increasing up to 20 times the current density in alkaline aqueous solutions. Such a remarkable electrocatalytic activity is associated to nanoalloying, as demonstrated by comparative examples with physical mixtures of gold and iron nanoparticles. These results open attractive scenarios to the use of kinetically stable nanoalloys for catalysis and energy conversion. 相似文献

The enantioselective synthesis of 3(S)-hydroxy polygodial and its acetyl derivative is described. The construction of the 3-hydroxy drimane skeleton was based on the titanium-catalyzed radical cyclization of (10S)-10, 11-epoxy-farnesyl acetate. Three new N2S2 donor ligands 1,1′-((2-(2-(phenylthio)phenylthio)phenyl)methylene)bis(3,5-R-1H-pyrazole), R = H (LH), R = Me (LMe), R = i-Pr (Li-Pr) have been prepared and characterized. These bifunctional ligands incorporate two distinct chelate donor systems, by virtue of the presence of bispyrazole and bisthioether functions. The preferred conformation of these ligands is such that the N2 and S2 donor moieties may be oriented in opposite directions, thus favoring the formation of molecular chains when treated with AgBF4. The X-ray structures of Ag(I) complexes show that, depending on the steric hindrance present on the pyrazole rings, these ligands behave as κ4-SSNN-μ bridging tetradentate (when R = H), or κ3-SNN-μ bridging tridentate (when R = Me, i-Pr). Interestingly, [Ag(LH)]BF4 crystallizes in the chiral space group P41, with the molecular chain that is folded around the 41 screw axis. 相似文献

A novel, cost-efficient method for the analytical extraction of the Fusarium mycotoxin zearalenone (ZON) from edible oils by dynamic covalent hydrazine chemistry (DCHC) was developed and validated for its application with high performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection (HPLC-FLD). ZON is extracted from the edible oil by hydrazone formation on a polymer resin functionalised with hydrazine groups and subsequently released by hydrolysis. Specifity and precision of this approach are superior to liquid partitioning or gel permeation chromatography (GPC). DCHC also extracts zearalanone (ZAN) but not α-/β-zearalenol or -zearalanol. The hydrodynamic properties of ZON, which were estimated using molecular simulation data, indicate that the compound is unaffected by nanofiltration through the resin pores and thus selectively extracted. The method's levels of detection and quantification are 10 and 30 μg/kg, using 0.2 g of sample. Linearity is given in the range of 10–20,000 μg/kg, the average recovery being 89%. Bias and relative standard deviations do not exceed 7%. In a sample survey of 44 commercial edible oils based on various agricultural commodities (maize, olives, nuts, seeds, etc.) ZON was detected in four maize oil samples, the average content in the positive samples being 99 μg/kg. The HPLC-FLD results were confirmed by HPLC–tandem mass spectrometry and compared to those obtained by a liquid partitioning based sample preparation procedure. 相似文献

The Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM), Germany, has issued a series of large volume ethanol in water
certified reference materials (CRMs), primarily developed for the calibration of evidential breath alcohol analyzers in Germany.
The certified parameter is the ethanol mass concentration at 20 °C. When used in a wet bath simulator, the solutions deliver
gas samples that meet the requirements set by the Organization of Legal Metrology for calibration of breathalyzers. The materials
were prepared gravimetrically by spiking of ethanol into water in single 5 L units. A complete uncertainty budget for the
preparation process has been established. The purity of the commercial ethanol stock solution was identified to be the main
source of uncertainty. For stability and homogeneity measurements and for the verification of the gravimetric mass concentration
of the CRMs, a robust high-precision gas chromatography, with flame-ionization detection method for ethanol determination
in aqueous samples was developed and validated. The good performance of this method has been demonstrated in several international
comparisons organized by the Consultative Committee for Amount of Substance—Metrology in Chemistry at the International Bureau

The (liquid + liquid) equilibrium (LLE) data for ternary mixtures {alkane + benzene + 1-ethylpyridinium ethylsulfate ([EPy][EtSO4])} at T = (283.15 and 298.15) K and atmospheric pressure are presented. The alkanes used were hexane and heptane. The cloud point method was used to determinate the binodal curve, and the tie-line compositions were obtained by density measurements. The LLE data obtained were used to calculate distribution coefficients and selectivity values. The consistency of tie-line data was ascertained by applying the Othmer-Tobias and Hand equations. Correlation of the experimental tie-lines was conducted through the use of NRTL equation, which provides good correlation of the experimental data.The results show that [EPy][EtSO4] can be used as an alternative solvent in liquid extraction processes for the removal of benzene from its mixtures with alkanes. 相似文献

The use of a non‐commutative algebra in hypercomplex function theory requires a large variety of different representations of polynomials suitably adapted to the solution of different concrete problems. Naturally arises the question of their relationships and the advantages or disadvantages of different types of polynomials. In this sense, the present paper investigates the intrinsic relationship between two different types of monogenic Appell polynomials. Several authors payed attention to the construction of complete sets of monogenic Appell polynomials, orthogonal with respect to a certain inner product, and used them advantageously for the study of problems in 3D‐elasticity and other problems. Our goal is to show that, as consequence of the binomial nature of those generalized Appell polynomials, their inner structure is determined by interesting combinatorial relations in which the central binomial coefficients play a special role. In this paper we study the controllability for a class of semilinear differential inclusions in Banach spaces. Since we assume the regularity of the nonlinear part with respect to the weak topology, we do not require the compactness of the evolution operator generated by the linear part. As well we are not posing any conditions on the multivalued nonlinearity expressed in terms of measures of noncompactness. We are considering the usual assumption on the controllability of the associated linear problem. Notice that, in infinite dimensional spaces, the above mentioned compactness of the evolution operator and linear controllability condition are in contradiction with each other. We suppose that the nonlinear term has convex, closed, bounded values and a weakly sequentially closed graph when restricted to its second argument. This regularity setting allows us to solve controllability problem under various growth conditions. As application, a controllability result for hyperbolic integro-differential equations and inclusions is obtained. In particular, we consider controllability of a system arising in a model of nonlocal spatial population dispersal and a system governed by the second order one-dimensional telegraph equation. 相似文献
