The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate, 1/T1, has been measured in weak itinerant ferromagnets Y(Co1−xAlx)2. The temperature and magnetic field dependence of 1/T1T has been found to be well described by the self-consistent renormalization (SCR) theory of spin fluctuations. The parameters characterizing spin fluctuations in this system were estimated from NMR and magnetic measurements. The temperature dependence of susceptibility calculated from these parameters well reproduces the experimental results. 相似文献

We synthesized liquid scintillators incorporating ZrO2 nanoparticles for application in neutrinoless double beta decay experiments. ZrO2 nanoparticles of less than 10 nm in size were synthesized with sub- and supercritical hydrothermal methods. The Zr concentrations in the liquid scintillators were determined to be up to 1.4 wt% with inductively coupled plasma analysis, and the liquid scintillators were transparent to scintillation. These results indicate that these methods are applicable for the preparation of liquid scintillators for neutrinoless double beta decay experiments. 相似文献

To investigate the soil compactibility during the cyclic loading, three different kinds of paddy field soils were prepared so as to clarify interrelationships among stress amplitude ratio, bulk density, soil water content and pore water pressure. The presetting values of specimen include the soil water content(percent dry basis) and bulk density of 25% d.b. and 1.1 Mg/m3 respectively. The relation between the number of cyclic loading and axial strain exhibited an asymptotically increasing trend, converging toward a specific value for each experimental condition. Possible effect caused by elastic–plastic characteristics could be recognized, when axial strain for 0.5 Hz excitation becomes greater than the one of 1.0 Hz under same stress amplitude ratio. When the stress amplitude ratio took 0.1, the absolute value of axial strain of 0.5 Hz was greater than the one of 1.0 Hz, whereas its decreasing trend was recognized in the sequence of silt, clay and silty sand. The qualitative relations between pore water pressure and number of cyclic loading were also examined to scrutinize the effect of effective water pressure to the soil compactibility. 相似文献

Shape recovery of a droplet of liquid crystalline polymer (LCP) hydroxypropylcellulose in a matrix of poly(dimethyl siloxane) subjected to a step shear strain has been studied via optical microscopy. Just after application of a large strain, the LCP droplet shape is flat ellipsoid, and then the droplet takes cylindrical shape and band texture perpendicular to the flow direction appears. The band texture fades away before emergence of poly-domain structure. In the final process with the shape of spheroid, poly-domain structure recovers very slowly. Except for the final process, the shape change is identical with that of isotropic droplet at strains smaller than 3, when the LCP viscosity in Region II is taken as an equivalent viscosity for normalization. For a 20:80 blend, the excess relaxation modulus is calculated based on the Doi-Ohta theory, taking account of the distribution of droplet size and compared with experimental modulus data. 相似文献

The cross-linking structure of the ultra violet (UV)-cured resin prepared from dipentaerithritol hexacrylate (DPHA) was characterized by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS) combined with supercritical methanolysis. The MALDI-mass spectrum of the decomposition products obtained by supercritical methanolysis contained a series of peaks of sodium-cationized methyl acrylate (MA) oligomers up to around m/z = 4000 formed through selective cleavage and methylation occurred at ester linkages in UV-cured DPHA. Furthermore, in order to observe widely distributed sequence lengths in the cross-linking junctions, the decomposed products of the cured resin were then fractionated using size exclusion chromatography followed by the MALDI-MS measurements of the individual fractions. The MALDI-mass spectra of the lower molar mass fractions mainly consisted of a series of peaks of MA oligomers around m/z values of several thousands, whereas those of higher molecular weight showed a broad peak up to m/z ca. 180000. The observed distributions of the supercritical methanolysis products suggested that the network junctions in the given UV-cured resin were composed of up to around 2000 acrylate units. 相似文献

Decay of soft multipole excitations in halo nuclei is studied in comparison with the potential resonance state. Although the soft excitation has a sharp peak just above the particle threshold and carries extremely large transition strength, the decay rate looks much faster than that expected for a resonance state. Consequently, the half life is shown to be several orders of magnitude shorter than what one naively expects from the uncertainty principle. It is shown also that the soft excitations accumulate large transition strength as a non-resonant single-particle excitation, but not as particle-hole collective excitations like giant resonances. 相似文献

Frequency dependence of spin-lattice relaxation time T1 of 27Al in one-dimensional K+ ion conductor, K-Al-priderite, was measured at 45 K in the frequency range from 10.1 MHz to 55 MHz. It is found that T1 is proportional to ω1.49±0.05 and agrres well with the dependence derived by the continuum diffusion model. The intrinsic activation energy is determined to be 0.058 eV by doubling the slope ENMR=0.029 eV of the d(ln T1)/dT curve in the low temperature region. The frequency dependence of T1 in the high temperature region measured in the frequency range from 11.5 MHz to 20.8 MHz shows a tendency that the frequency dependence becomes smaller than the dependence as temperature is raised above 450 K. 相似文献
