Mechanism of breakdown development in a gas in a subthreshold HF field

The development of a breakdown wave in subthreshold HF fields is considered for the condition that the field energy density exceed the plasma energy density E²/4 > nT. It is shown that the breakdown wave propagation mechanism is controlled by HF diffusion with a coefficient _iE²/4en. Possible mechanism of metal ion extraction from aqueous solutions by fibrous polypropylene

Peculiarities of the extraction of metal ions from aqueous solutions by fibrous polypropylene have been investigated. It has been found that metal ion adsorption proceeds owing to the existence of a gas-liquid-hydrophobic polymer boundary line. The process mechanism has been discussed.

Copper precipitation from sulfate solutions with calcium carbonates

Mechanism of interaction of copper sulfate with natural calcium carbonates, responsible for low residual copper concentrations in solutions and for the behavior of open and closed systems in storage is considered.     

2,3-Diphenylthiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidinium salts

The corresponding 2,3-diphenyl[3,2-a]pyrimidinium salts were obtained by the condensation of 4,5-diphenyl-2-aminothiazole perchlorate with -diketones, -chlorovinyl ketones, -chlorovinyl aldehydes, and 1,1,3,3-tetraethoxypropane. The PMR spectra were used to prove the structures of the compounds obtained, particularly to select the structures of the isomeric salts obtained in the condensation with unsymmetrical -diketones, -chlorovinyl ketones, and -chlorovinyl aldehydes.
