Coinage metal nanoparticles with high dispersion can serve as highly efficient heterogeneous catalysts. However, owing to their low melting point, poor thermal stability remains a major obstacle towards their application under reaction conditions. It is a common practice to use porous inorganic templates such as mesoporous silica SBA-15 to disperse Ag nanoparticles (NPs) against aggregation but their stability is far from satisfactory. Here, we show that the catalytic activity for hydrogenation of dimethyl oxalate (DMO) to methyl glycolate (MG) over Ag NPs dispersed on SBA-15 silica can be further promoted by incorporation of alkali metal ions at small loading, which follows the inverse order of their cationic size: Li+ > Na+ > K+ > Rb+. Among these, 5Ag1–Li0.05/SBA-15 can double the MG yield compared to pristine 5Ag/SBA-15 under identical conditions with superior thermal stability. Akin to the effect of an ionic surfactant on stabilization of a micro-emulsion, the cationic charge of an alkali metal ion can maintain dispersion and modulate the surface valence of Ag NPs. Interstitial Li in the octahedral holes of the face center packed Ag lattice is for the first time confirmed by X-ray pair distribution function and electron ptychography. It is believed that this interstitial-stabilization of coinage metal nanoparticles could be broadly applicable to multi-metallic nanomaterials for a broad range of C–O bond activating catalytic reactions of esters.Coinage metal nanoparticles with high dispersion can serve as highly efficient heterogeneous catalysts. 相似文献

Background
Recently there has been increased interest in pancreatic cholesterol esterase due to correlation between enzymatic activity in vivo and absorption of dietary cholesterol. Cholesterol esterase plays a role in digestive lipid absorption in the upper intestinal tract, though its role in cholesterol absorption in particular is controversial. Serine lipases, acetylcholinesterase, butyrylcholinesterase, and cholesterol esterase belong to a large family of proteins called the α/β-hydrolase fold, and they share the same catalytic machinery as serine proteases in that they have an active site serine residue which, with a histidine and an aspartic or glutamic acid, forms a catalytic triad. Systematic Study of Ti‐Distribution in Titanosilicate *BEA Zeolites via Symmetry‐Adapted Enumeration
The high performance of titanosilicate zeolites in various industrial oxidation reactions is highly affected by the distribution of Ti atoms in their frameworks. Because of their structural complexity, previous theoretical studies mainly focus on the preferential location of single Ti atoms within the unit cells of titanosilicate zeolites. When multiple Ti atoms are required, conventional approaches consider only symmetrically related T sites to reduce the computation complexity. Such symmetry‐constrained approaches obviously overlooked many possible configurations. Herein, we conduct a systematic study on the distribution of two Ti atoms in the unit cell of titanosilicate zeolite *BEA . Different from conventional symmetry‐constrained approaches, we introduce two Ti atoms simultaneously without any constraint and adopt a symmetry‐adapted algorithm to enumerate all possible configurations for double‐Ti introduction. We generate a total of 273 distinct configurations and analyze the Ti‐distribution via Boltzmann statistics. We find that many of the configurations overlooked by conventional symmetry‐constrained approaches indeed exhibit more feasible energies, which may lead to different Ti‐distributions. The formation constants of ternary mixed ligand complex compounds (logK_(MAB~(MA)) formed from 1,10-phenanthroline or 2,2'-bipyridyl (A), N-(meta-substituted phenyl) glycines, (B, m-RphG, R=CH_3, H, CH_3O, Cl) with Nickel(Ⅱ), Cobalt(Ⅱ) and Zinc(Ⅱ) were determined by pH method at 25 ℃ in 30% (Volume) ethanol solution in presence of 0.1 mol·dm~(-3) NaClO_4 or 0.1 mol·dm~(-3) KNO_3. It was found that linear free energy relationships exist between the stability of ternary complex compounds and the base strengths of ligands in all six ternary systems investigated. The stability of the ternary complex compounds was discused in terms of ΔlogK_M values and HSAB theory. It was found that linear relationships also exist between ΔlogK_M and pK_2 in the Ni(II)-phen-m-RPhG ternary system. 相似文献

以苯重氮硼氟酸盐与亚铁盐在微量铜离子存在时能引发丙烯腈聚合,聚合速率服从:R∝[φN_2~+]~(1/2)[Fe~(++)]~(1/4)[Cu~(++)]~(1/4),氧化还原引发历程为: Fe~(++)+Cu~(++) Fe~(+++)+Cu~+ φN_2~++Cu~+→φ·+N_2+Cu~(++) φ·+M→φM·→φMM·…该历程符合上述动力学关系。但使用对硝基苯重氮硼氟酸盐时,微量铜离子对聚合反应速率影响不大,与亚铁盐浓度在一定范围呈R∝[Fe~(++)]~(1/2)的关系,因此例的引发历程为: φN_2~++Fe~(++)→φ·+N_2+Fe~(+++) φ·+M→φM·→φMM·…苯环上推电子取代基降低了重氮基的氧化势,如对位取代甲氧基、甲基或没有取代基都不能用纯亚铁盐引发丙烯腈聚合,需有微量铜盐存在才能聚合。而拉电子取代基如对位取代硝基、羧基可用纯亚铁盐引发聚合。 相似文献
