The addition of the lithium anions derived from (R)- and (S)-methyl and -ethyl p-tolyl sulfoxides to (S)-N-benzylidene-p-toluenesulfinamide provides an easy access route to enantiomerically pure beta-(N-sulfinyl)amino sulfoxides. Stereoselectivity can be achieved when the configurations at the sulfur atoms of the two reagents are opposite (matched pair), thus resulting in only one diastereoisomer, even for the case in which two new chiral centers are created. The N-sulfinyl group primarily controls the configuration of the carbon bonded to the nitrogen, whereas the configuration of the alpha-sulfinyl carbanion seems to be responsible for the level of asymmetric induction, as well as for the configuration of the new stereogenic C-SO carbon in the reactions with ethyl p-tolyl sulfoxides. An efficient method for transforming the obtained beta-(N-sulfinyl)amino sulfoxides into optically pure beta-amino alcohols, based on the stereoselective non-oxidative Pummerer reaction, is also reported. 相似文献

In esterifications of secondary alcohols catalyzed by immobilized lipase B from Candida antarctica (Novozym 435) the E-values decreased during the reaction. Hydrolysis of the corresponding butanoates showed the opposite effect. When an enantiopure (R)-alcohol, related but different, was added to the transesterification reaction, the E-value was significantly enhanced. 相似文献

The chemical stability of the layered Li1−xCoO2 and Li1−xNi0.85CoO.15O2 cathodes is compared by monitoring the oxygen content with lithium content (1−x) in chemically delithiated samples. The Li1−xCoO2 system tends to lose oxygen from the lattice at deep lithium extraction while the Li1−xNi0.85Co0.15O2 system does not lose oxygen at least for (1−x)>0.3. This difference seems to result in a lower reversible (practical) capacity (140 mA h/g) for LiCoO2 compared to that for LiNi0.85Co0.15O2 (180 Ma h/g). The loss of significant amount of oxygen leads to a sliding of oxide layers and the formation of a major P3 and a minor O1 phase for the end member CoO2−δ with δ=0.33. In contrast, Ni0.85Co0.15O2−δ with a small amount of δ=0.1 maintains the initial O3 layer structure. 相似文献

The preparation of various 2,2‐dimethyl‐2H‐chromenes was achieved in two steps via an ytterbium triflate‐catalysed reaction between salicylaldehydes, trimethylorthoformate and 2‐methylpropene. From salicylaldehyde, two reaction products were characterised: 4‐methoxy‐2,2‐dimethylchroman and 2‐(1,3‐dimethoxy‐3‐methylbutyl)phenol. The former compound probably results from a Lewis acid‐catalysed [2+4] cycloaddition between the intermediate quinonemethide and 2‐methylpropene whereas the latter may occur via a reaction related to a carbonyl‐ene reaction between the quinonemethide and 2‐methylpropene. Both compounds were subjected to a catalytic acidic treatment leading to 2,2‐dimethyl‐2H‐chromene. Starting from various salicylaldehydes, the scope of this method was investigated. 相似文献

Wurtzite-type Zn1?x Mn x O (x = 0, 0.03, 0.05, 0.07) nanostructures were successfully synthesised using a simple microwave-assisted hydrothermal route and their catalytic properties were investigated in the cellulose conversion. The morphology of the nanocatalysts is dopant-dependent. Pure ZnO presented multi-plate morphology with a flower-like shape of nanometric sizes, while the Zn0.97Mn0.03O sample is formed by nanoplates with the presence of spherical nanoparticles; the Zn0.95Mn0.05O and Zn0.93Mn0.07O samples are mainly formed by nanorods with the presence of a small quantity of spherical nanoparticles. The catalyst without Mn did not show any catalytic activity in the cellulose conversion. The Mn doping promoted an increase in the density of weak acid sites which, according to the catalytic results, favoured promotion of the reaction. 相似文献

When starch is incorporated into puddings, desserts, and other foods containing sugar as the main ingredient, it will have an effect on the gelatinisation temperature and pasting properties. Many studies have been undertaken to investigate the effect of several sugars in foods and starches, as well as their physicochemical and functional properties. These studies have verified the significant influence on these properties, which are dependent on the nature of sugar and of starch. In this study, pinhão starch was extracted in the laboratory and was added, stirring for 60 min, to solutions at 1 % of each of the following sugars: fructose, glucose, sucrose, and 0.5 % fructose and 0.5 % glucose. After this time, the slurry was filtered, washed, dried at 40 °C and kept in a desiccator over anhydrous calcium chloride until constant mass. The effects of each sugar on the surface of the pinhão starch granules were observed using the non-contact method of atomic force microscopy, whereby it was possible to verify a decrease in the average diameter and an increase in the average roughness. X-ray diffractometry made it possible to evaluate the degree of relative crystallinity, which was proportional to the roughness and inversely proportional to the gelatinisation enthalpy (ΔH), which was studied by differential scanning calorimetry. 相似文献
