In this research, some new diazo dyes including Schiff base have been synthesized by the condensation reaction between ethylenediamine and derivatives of salicylaldehyde containing diazo functional groups in the presence of nanocrystalline magnesium oxide as a solid base catalyst under solvent‐free conditions. Nanocrystalline magnesium oxide has been characterized by XRD, BJH and TEM techniques. The corresponding products have been obtained in excellent yields and high purity. All of the obtained diazo‐Schiff bases are highly colored and can be applicable as useful diazo dyes and characterized by spectroscopy data.  相似文献

Three new water-soluble organotin complexes R2Sn(5-BrSalGT)Cl [R = Ph, Me] and Ph2Sn(2-OHNaphGT)Cl have been synthesized by the reaction of R2SnCl2 (R = Ph or Me) with Schiff bases derived from condensation of Girard-T reagent with 5-bromosalicylaldehyde and 2-naphthaldehyde, (5-BrH2SalGT)Cl (1) and (2-OHH2NaphGT)Cl (2). The synthesized compounds have been investigated by elemental analysis, conductometric measurements, IR, 1H NMR, and 119Sn NMR spectroscopy. These data show that the deporotonated ligand is coordinated to Sn(IV) via ONO atoms and six-coordinate zwitterionic complexes are formed. The ligands and their complexes were investigated for their in vitro toxicity against Gram-positive (Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus) and Gram-negative (Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) bacteria. The results show remarkable antibacterial activity against the studied bacteria. All complexes exhibit more inhibitory effects than the parent ligand. The anticancer activity of all compounds were also performed on HN5 cell line and (2-OHH2NaphGT)Cl with concentration of 1 mg mL?1 was found to show higher anticancer activity than other compounds.  相似文献

The compounds containing the benzohydrazide (BH) nucleus have a variety of biological activities because of various noncovalent intermolecular interactions. The interplay between anion-π and H-bond interactions, which can affect the activity of compounds, has been investigated in ten substituted BH exposed to the chloride ion using the quantum mechanical calculations. The total interaction energy is separated into the anion-π (ΔE ) and H-bond (ΔE HB) contributions where both interactions are presented in the complexes. The electron-withdrawing substituents (EWSs) increase |ΔE | and decrease |ΔE HB|, while reversed changes are observed with the electron-donating substituents (EDSs). In addition, the total binding energy (ΔE) becomes more/less negative in the presence of EWSs/EDSs. The synergetic effects of mentioned interactions and substituent effects have also been investigated using the atoms in molecules (AIM), natural bond orbital (NBO) and molecular electrostatic potential (MEP) analyses. A good correlation is found between the energy data and the Hammett constants, the minimum of electrostatic potential (V min) and the results of population analyses.  相似文献

An efficient adsorption system was developed for removal of hazardous Direct Blue 71 as a sample azo dye. The γ-Fe2O3@CuO adsorption system was synthesized based on a sol–gel combustion route and characterized by energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, vibrating-sample magnetometry (VSM), and field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) techniques. The response surface methodology with Box–Behnken design was used to evaluate the effects of pH, shaking time, and adsorbent dose on dye adsorption. The results showed that solution pH was the parameter with greatest effect on dye adsorption. Adsorption equilibrium was reached quickly, within 8 min. Study of isotherms revealed adsorption capacity of 45.7 mg g?1 according to the Freundlich model. Sorbent regeneration could be performed using methanol–NaOH (0.1 mol L?1) solution.  相似文献

An efficient and straightforward approach to the synthesis of 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one from 2-aminobenzamide and carbonyl compounds (aldehydes and ketones) using biocompatible choline sulfate-based acidic ionic liquid as a cheap and readily available catalyst in water has been developed. Various 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one have been prepared using low-cost and environmental friendly solvent and catalyst in good to excellent yields in a shorter reaction time. The choline sulfate catalyst was prepared using a simple method from readily available starting material and was confirmed by 1H NMR, FTIR, and TGA. The ease of the product separation without organic solvent and column chromatography and the reusability of the acidic ionic liquid catalyst makes this method economically affordable for large-scale synthesis.  相似文献

In this work a facile hydrothermal route has been employed to prepare a multiwall carbon nanotube wrapped in a chelating resin. 8-Hydroxyquinoline and p-formaldehyde were used as monomer and linker for polymer synthesis. The prepared composite was employed as an efficient adsorbent for lead adsorption and preconcentration from various matrices. Effective parameters on lead adsorption have been optimized by central composite design. Results showed that equilibrium adsorption was obtained at pH = 4, with a shacking time of 15 min and adsorbent dosage of 15 mg. Isotherm study showed that the sorbent has adsorbent capacity of 250 mg g?1; moreover, the process followed a Langmuir isotherm model. Thermodynamic investigation confirmed that lead adsorption is spontaneous, as well as follows endothermic path.  相似文献
