The VO(IV) complexes of tridentate ONN Schiff ligands were synthesized and characterized by IR, UV–Vis and elemental analysis. The electrochemical properties of the vanadyl complexes were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. A good correlation was observed between the oxidation potentials and the electron-withdrawing character of the substituents on the Schiff base ligands, showing the following trend: MeO < H < Br < NO2. The thermogravimetry (TG) and differential thermoanalysis (DTA) of the VO(IV) complexes were carried out in the range of 20–700 °C. The VOL1(OH2) and VOL2(OH2) decomposed in three steps, whereas the VOL3(OH2) and VOL4(OH2) complexes decomposed in two steps. The thermal decomposition of these complexes is closely related to the nature of the Schiff base ligands and proceeds via first-order kinetics. The structures of compounds were determined by ab initio calculations. The optimized molecular geometry and atomic charges were calculated using MP2 method with 6-31G(d) basis. The results suggested that, in the complexes, V(IV) ion is in square-pyramid N2O3 coordination geometry. Also the bond lengths and angles were studied and compared.  相似文献

Phosphorus pentoxide supported on silica gel (P2O5/SiO2) has been used as an efficient and reusable catalyst for the one‐pot pseudo four‐component synthesis of 2,4,5‐trisubstituted imidazoles from benzil or benzoin, aldehydes, and ammonium acetate. It was also used for four‐component preparation of 1,2,4,5‐tetrasubstituted imidazoles from benzil or benzoin, aldehydes, primary amine, and ammonium acetate under thermal solvent‐free conditions. The remarkable features of this new procedure are high conversions, cleaner reaction, simple experimental and work‐up procedures and also the catalyst can be easily separated from the reaction mixture and reused several times without any loss of its activity.  相似文献

The effect of substitution on the strength and nature of CH···N hydrogen bond in XCCH···NH3 (X = F, Cl, Br, OH, H, Me) and NCH···NH3 complexes were investigated by quantum chemical calculations. Ab initio calculations were performed using MP2 method with a wide range of basis sets. With tacking into account the BSSE and ZPVE, the values of BEs decrease. Replacement of the nonparticipatory hydrogen atom of HCCH by the electronegative atoms (F, Cl, and Br), lead to the BEs increases. The BE corresponding to the replacement of the nonparticipatory hydrogen atom of HCCH by the OH and CH3 groups decreases. A far greater enhancement of the interaction energy arises from replacement of HCCH by the more acidic HCN. The natural bond orbital analysis and the Bader's quantum theory of atoms in molecules were also used to elucidate the interaction characteristics of these complexes. The electrostatic nature of H‐bond interactions is predicted from QTAIM analysis. In addition, the relationship between the isotropic and anisotropic chemical shifts of the bridging hydrogen and binding energy of complexes as well as electron density at N···H BCPs were investigated. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Efficient method for direct preparation of 14‐aryl‐14‐H‐dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes through condensation of β‐naphthol with various aromatic aldehydes in the presence of the catalytic amount of [H—NMP]+[HSO4]? under microwave irradiation was described. This method has the advantages such as; very easy reaction workup, absolute separation of catalyst from the reaction mixture and smooth recyclability of catalyst. In this reaction 14‐aryl‐14‐H‐dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes were obtained as desired products in excellent yields and short reaction times via green and one‐pot procedure.  相似文献

This study has concerned the development of polymer composite electrolytes based on poly(vinyl butyral) (PVB) reinforced with calcinated Li/titania (CLT) for use as an electrolyte in electrochemical devices. The primary aim of this work was to verify our concept of applying CLT-based fillers in a form of nano-backbone to enhance the performance of a solid electrolyte system. To introduce the network of CLT into the PVB matrix, gelatin was used as a sacrificial polymer matrix for the implementation of in situ sol–gel reactions. The gelatin/Li/titania nanofiber films with various lithium perchlorate (LiClO4) and titanium isopropoxide proportions were initially fabricated via electrospinning, and ionic conductivities of electrospun nanofibers were then examined at 25 °C. In this regard, the highest ionic conductivity of 2.55 × 10−6 S/cm was achieved when 10 wt% and 7.5 wt% loadings of LiClO4 and titania precursor were used, respectively. The nanofiber film was then calcined at 400 °C to remove gelatin, and the obtained CLT film was then re-dispersed in solvated PVB-lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (PVB-LiTFSI) solution before casting to obtain reinforced composite solid electrolyte film. The reinforced composite PVB polymer electrolyte film shows high ionic conductivity of 2.22 × 10−4 S/cm with a wider electrochemical stability window in comparison to the one without nanofillers.

Currently, energy storage technologies are becoming essential in the transition of replacing fossil fuels with more renewable electricity production means. Among storage technologies, redox flow batteries (RFBs) can represent a valid option due to their unique characteristic of decoupling energy storage from power output. To push RFBs further into the market, it is essential to include low-cost materials such as new generation membranes with low ohmic resistance, high transport selectivity, and long durability. This work proposes a composite membrane for vanadium RFBs and a method of preparation. The membrane was prepared starting from two polymers, meta-polybenzimidazole (6 μm) and porous polypropylene (30 μm), through a gluing approach by hot-pressing. In a vanadium RFB, the composite membrane exhibited a high energy efficiency (~84%) and discharge capacity (~90%) with a 99% capacity retention over 90 cycles at 120 mA·cm−2, exceeding commercial Nafion® NR212 (~82% efficiency, capacity drop from 90% to 40%) and Fumasep® FAP-450 (~76% efficiency, capacity drop from 80 to 65%).  相似文献

The first asymmetric catalytic approach to multilayer 3D chirality has been achieved by using Suzuki-Miyaura cross-couplings. New chiral catalysts were designed and screened under various catalytic systems that proved chiral amide-phosphines to be more efficient ligands than other candidates. The multilayer 3D framework was unambiguously determined by X-ray structural analysis showing a parallel pattern of three layers consisting of top, middle and bottom aromatic rings. The X-ray structure of a catalyst complex, dichloride complex of Pd-phosphine amide, was obtained revealing an interesting asymmetric environment nearby the Pd metal center. Three rings of multilayer 3D products can be readily changed by varying aromatic ring-anchored starting materials. The resulting multilayer products displayed strong luminescence under UV irradiation and strong aggregation-induced emission (AIE). In the future, this work would benefit not only the field of asymmetric synthesis but also materials science, in particular polarized organic electronics, optoelectronics and photovoltaics.  相似文献

Here, polymelamine formaldehyde was decorated on the surface of reduced graphene oxide whose surface was then electrodeposited with a sub-monolayer of platinum nanoparticles. The nanocomposite thus prepared was characterized using several spectroscopic methods. Using the nanocomposite as a potential electrocatalyst for carbon dioxide reduction, the products were detected by Raman spectroscopy, gas chromatography, 13C-NMR spectroscopy, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The analytical results identified methanol as the main product of CO2 reduction. Moreover, analysis of the liquid products confirmed methanol as the predominant product with a current density of 0.4 mA/cm and a Faradaic efficiency of 93 %.  相似文献

Molecular structures, metallotropic and prototropic shifts of cyclopentadienyl(trimethyl)silane ( 1 ), cyclopentadienyl(trimethyl)germane ( 2 ), and cyclopentadienyl(trimethyl)stannane ( 3 ) were investigated using ab initio molecular orbital and the Becke, Lee, Yang, and Parr density functional (B3LYP) methods. The results show that the most stable structure of compounds 1-3 has the (CH 3 ) 3 M fragment in the allylic position. The energy barrier of metallotropic shifts in compound 1 is higher than in 2 , and in compound 2 higher than in 3 , in good agreement with experimental data. The cyclopentadienyl rings in compounds 1-3 are found to be planar but this result contradicts the reported experimental data.  相似文献

We report here two simple methods for the synthesis of benzo[c]acridine derivatives from three-component, one-pot condensation of 1-naphthylamine, dimedone, and a variety of substituted aldehydes in the presence of a catalytic amount of NH2SO3H or H6P2W18O62 · 18H2O under solvent-free conditions at 120 °C or in refluxing ethanol.  相似文献
