A new capillary electrophoresis (CE) procedure was developed for simultaneous determination of both organic and inorganic anions in rain water using a background electrolyte (BGE) containing 5 mM molybdate, 0.15 mM CTAH, 0.01% PVA and 5 mM Tris buffer to adjust pH at 7.9. Under optimised conditions, good repeatability (RSD for sulphate in migration time=0.36% and peak area=4.2%), low detection limit (2 ppb for chloride) and satisfactory working range (50 ppb-20 ppm for hydrodynamic injection, 10 ppb-3 ppm for electrokinetic injection for chloride) were obtained. The reliability of the CE procedure developed was established by satisfactory recovery tests and good agreement of results obtained by both the CE and ion chromatography (IC) methods. The procedure developed had been successfully applied for field monitoring of rainwater showing good repeatability and capability of detecting trace anions at ppb levels beyond the IC working range. Thus, the new CE procedure developed provides a quick, sensitive, economic and reliable method to meet the need for the simultaneous determination of both organic and inorganic anions in the acid rain monitoring programme.  相似文献

The synthesis, structures, and magnetic properties of four cyano-bridged M(II)Ru(III)2 compounds prepared from the paramagnetic Ru(III) building blocks, trans-[Ru(salen)(CN)2]- 1 [H2salen = N,N'-ethylenebis(salicylideneimine)] and trans-[Ru(acac)2(CN)2]- (Hacac = acetylacetone), are described. Compound 2, {Mn(CH3OH)4[Ru(salen)(CN)2]2}.6CH3OH.2H2O, is a trinuclear complex that exhibits antiferromagnetic coupling between Mn(II) and Ru(III) centers. Compound 3, {Mn(H2O)2[Ru(salen)(CN)2]2.H2O}n, has a 2-D sheetlike structure that exhibits antiferromagnetic coupling between Mn and Ru, leading to ferrimagnetic-like behavior. Compound 4, {Ni(cyclam)[Ru(acac)2(CN)2]2}.2CH3OH.2H2O (cyclam = 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane), is a trinuclear complex that exhibits ferromagnetic coupling. Compound 5, {Co[Ru(acac)2(CN)2]2}n, has a 3-D diamond-like interpenetrating network that exhibits ferromagnetic ordering below 4.6 K. The density functional theory (DFT) method was used to calculate the molecular magnetic orbitals and the magnetic exchange interaction between Ru(III) and M(II) (Mn(II), Ni(II)) ions.  相似文献

A multilaboratory study was conducted to compare the VIDAS LIS immunoassay with the standard cultural methods for the detection of Listeria in foods using an enrichment modification of AOAC Official Method 999.06. The modified enrichment protocol was implemented to harmonize the VIDAS LIS assay with the VIDAS LMO2 assay. Five food types--brie cheese, vanilla ice cream, frozen green beans, frozen raw tilapia fish, and cooked roast beef--at 3 inoculation levels, were analyzed by each method. A total of 15 laboratories representing government and industry participated. In this study, 1206 test portions were tested, of which 1170 were used in the statistical analysis. There were 433 positive by the VIDAS LIS assay and 396 positive by the standard culture methods. A Chi-square analysis of each of the 5 food types, at the 3 inoculation levels tested, was performed. The resulting average Chi square analysis, 0.42, indicated that, overall, there are no statistical differences between the VIDAS LIS assay and the standard methods at the 5% level of significance.  相似文献

Treatment of [M(Buppy)2Cl]2 (M=Ir (1), Rh (2); BuppyH=2-(4-tert-butylphenyl)pyridine) with Na(Et2NCS2), K[S2P(OMe)2], and K[N(Ph2PS)2]2 afforded monomeric [Ir(Buppy)2(SS)] (SS=Et2NCS2 (3), S2P(OMe)2 (4), N(PPh2S)2 (5)) and [Rh(Buppy)2(SS)] (SS=Et2NCS2 (6), S2P(OMe)2 (7), N(PPh2S)2 (8)), respectively. Reaction of 1 with Na[N(PPh2Se)2] gave [Ir(Buppy)2{N(PPh2Se)2}] (9). The crystal structures of 3, 4, 7, and 8 have been determined. Treatment of 1 or 2 with AgOTf (OTf=triflate) followed by reaction with KSCN gave dinuclear [{M(Buppy)2}2(μ-SCN)2] (M=Ir (10), Rh (11)), in which the SCN ligands bind to the two metal centers in a μ-S,N fashion. Interaction of 1 and 2 with [Et4N]2[WQ4] gave trinuclear heterometallic complexes [{Ir(Buppy)2}2(μ-WQ4)] (Q=S (12), Se (13)) and [{Rh(Buppy)2}2{(μ-WQ)4}] (Q=S (14), Se (15)), respectively. Hydrolysis of 12 led to formation of [{Ir(Buppy)2}2{W(O)(μ-S)23-S)}] (16) that has been characterized by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Combination of wet-grinding and laser fragmentation is a promising approach to advance both methods: Laser fragmentation will be more efficient when combined with mechanical treatment and wet-grinding may take advance of the abrasion-free laser process to achieve fabrication of smaller particles. By mechanical pre-treatment of zinc oxide microparticles in a stirred-media mill, the starting material is activated by generation of crystallographic defects, which strongly enhance the efficiency of subsequent laser fragmentation. Picosecond-laser irradiation of mechanically treated and untreated microparticles suspended in water yielded in colloidal zinc oxide nanoparticles. This pilot study elaborates the development of novel epoxy/electrospun polylactic acid (PLA) nanofiber composites at the fiber contents of 3, 5, and 10 wt % to evaluate their mechanical and thermal properties using flexural tests and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The flexural moduli of composites increase remarkably by 50.8 and 24.0% for 5 and 10 wt % fiber contents, respectively, relative to that of neat epoxy. Furthermore, a similar trend is also shown for corresponding flexural strengths being enhanced by 31.6 and 4.8%. Fractured surface morphology with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) confirms a full permeation of cured epoxy matrix into nanofiber structures and existence of nondestructive fibrous networks inside large void cavities. The glass transition temperature (Tg) of composites increases up to 54–60 °C due to embedded electrospun nanofibers compared to 50 °C for that of epoxy, indicating that fibrous networks may further restrict the intermolecular mobility of matrix in thermal effects. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
