Vietnam is a developing country in southeast Asia, and its environment has been seriously affected by industrialization and urbanization. In large cities like Hanoi (northern Vietnam) and Ho Chi Minh City (southern Vietnam), noise emission from road traffic has been found to be a serious concern among general public. In 2005 and 2007, two large-scale socio-acoustic surveys of community response to road traffic noise were conducted to investigate human reactions to road traffic noise in these cities; the sample sizes were 1503 people in Hanoi and 1471 in Ho Chi Minh City. The noise exposure levels (Lden) were 70–83 dB in Hanoi and 75–83 dB in Ho Chi Minh City. Noise annoyance was estimated using standardized annoyance scales. For both cities, dose–response relationships were established between Lden and the percentage of highly annoyed respondents. Compared to annoyance responses of European people, Vietnamese were less annoyed by road traffic noise by about 5 dB. Hanoi respondents seemed to be more annoyed by noise than Ho Chi Minh City respondents. Conversation and sleep disturbances were not as serious as expected in either city. In two-flavor dense quark matter, we describe the dynamics in the single plane wave Larkin-Ovchinnikov-Fulde-Ferrell (LOFF) state satisfying the color and electric neutrality conditions. We find that because the neutral LOFF state itself suffers from a chromomagnetic instability in the whole region where it coexists with the (gapped or gapless) two-flavor superconducting phases, it cannot cure this instability in those phases. This is unlike the recently revealed gluonic phase which seems to be able to resolve this problem. 相似文献

1/2=17.4 ms) produced in the 100A-MeV 13C, 15N + 9Be collisions respectively have been observed for the first time detecting asymmetric β-ray emission from these nuclei. By
means of the spin manipulation technique based on the hyperfine interaction of B isotopes in TiO2, both the polarization P and the alignment A were determined reliably. The obtained P and A were significantly smaller than the expectation from the kinematical model. From the fact that the quenching factors for
P and A are almost the same, there may be some depolarization mechanism in the collision process itself.

The three-dimensional electronic structure and the nature of Ce 4f electrons of the Kondo insulator CeRu4Sn6 are investigated by angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, utilizing tunable photon energies. Our results reveal (i) the three-dimensional k-space nature of the Fermi surface, (ii) the localized-to-itinerant transition of f electrons occurs at a much high temperature than the hybridization gap opening temperature, and (iii) the “relocalization” of itinerant f-electrons below 25 K, which could be the precursor to the establishment of magnetic order. 相似文献

Abstract The reaction of novel chiral selenonium and telluronium ylides was investigated with aldehydes and compared to the sulfur analogues. (2R,5R)-2,5-Dimethylselenolane was prepared and reacted as a catalyst for the benzylidenation of aldehydes. Disubstituted epoxides were readily prepared with a (surprising) absence of diastereoselectivity, and with enantiomeric excesses higher than 90%. The reaction of a tellurium analogue, (2S,5S)-2,5-diethyltellurolane, afforded the oxirane in very moderate yield and e.e.'s in the range of 62–82%. Though this was less productive, it is the first report of a chiral telluronium ylide leading to an asymmetric epoxidation of aldehydes. 相似文献

The kinetics of the cationic polymerization of 1-β-cyanoethyl aziridine initiated 3-hydroxy- 1-propane sulfonic acid sultone and methyl tosylate have been studied. The course of polymerization involved the propagation stage and termination reaction due to the reaction between the growing chain and imino groups in the polymer chain. The propagation constants and termination constants were obtained. The enthalpies of activation for the propagation and termination reactions are ΔHp? = 12.9 kcal/mol and ΔHt? = 12.4 kcal/mol, and the entropies of activation are ΔSp? = -31 cal/deg·mol and ΔSt? = -39 cal/deg·mol. Otherwise, the polymerization initiated with methyl tosylate involved an early stage which was initiated very quickly. 相似文献

Barium titanate stabilized by γ-cyclodextrin nanoparticles were prepared by using a microwave reactor equipped with ultrasonic nozzle mixing at 240°C in a tetraethylene glycol solution of barium ethoxide and titanium ethoxide in the presence of γ-cyclodextrin. Particles in γ-cyclodextrin-stabilized BaTiO3 nanoparticles had an average diameter of 2.1 nm and mainly distributed within the range of about 1 to 4 nm. The γ-cyclodextrin-stabilized BaTiO3 nanoparticles were mixed with 4-cyano-4′-pentylbiphenyl at room temperature resulting in a liquid crystal sol of 4-cyano-4′-pentylbiphenyl.
