CuAl2Cl8. Preparation and Crystal Structure. Crystals of CuAl2Cl8 have been prepared. Their remission spectrum agrees with that of gaseous CuAl2Cl8. The crystal structure (P21/c;a = 6.614, b = 7.376, c = 12.319 Å; β = 94.11°) shows a molecular lattice with Cu in square planar coordination, which is completed to a stretched octahedron (as in solid CuCl2) by two Cl atoms from neighbour molecules. We study the regularity of solutions of interface problems for the Poisson equation in axisynunetric domains. The Fourier decomposition of the 3D-problem into a sequence of 2D-variational equations end uniform (with respect to the sequence parameter) a prior; estimates of their solutions are derived. Some non-tensorial singular functions describing the behaviour of the solution near interface edges are given and the smoothness of the stress intensity distribution as well as the tangential regularity are characterized in tenns of Sobolev spaces. Optical properties of nanomaterials such as semiconductor and metal quantum dots are important for sensors and photovoltaic applications. We report on optical, microscopic, and AFM investigations on bulk and single nanoobjects such as metal and semiconducting nanoparticles. Firstly, of special interest is the investigation of Ag metal nanoaggregates formed in zeolites. Here, the defined structure of the zeolite serves both as size directing and a stabilizing agent. The size selected Ag aggregates fluoresce in the zeolite cages even after storage under ambient conditions for almost one year. In addition, single Ag particles escape the cages and can be investigated by fluorescence microscopy also with respect to sensor applications. Secondly, with respect to photovoltaic applications, energy transfer among organic dye molecules and semiconductor quantum dots is of great importance. We report on the extension of the optical absorption of ZnSe quantum dots into the UV regime and investigate excitation energy transfer within self-assembled nanoaggregates of surface functionalized QDs and fluorescent styrylpyridine dyes. 相似文献

It is experimentally demonstrated that perfect imaging is possible in disordered wave guiding media, provided that the disorder is off-diagonal, i.e., that only the spacing varies randomly between the otherwise identical lattice sites. We show that a concentration of light at a metal tip allows near-field optical imaging of single fluorescent dye molecules at very high resolution, despite strong quenching effects. Details as small as 10 nm were observed in the fluorescence patterns of single Cy-3 dyes bound to the termini of DNA. Data evaluation by model fitting determines the positions of the dyes to an accuracy even better than 1 nm and also yields their 3D orientation. The metal tip simultaneously provides high-resolution topographic imaging complementing the optical signal for a detailed surface examination. 相似文献

The triboelectric effect describes electrical charging when bringing different materials into contact. We report on the generation of hard X-ray radiation by peeling various adhesive tapes under medium vacuum conditions. Beside vacuum housing and pumps as instrumentation only an electric motor, two rolls and a metal foil as target material are necessary. The spectral distribution of generated X-rays was analyzed using an energy-dispersive detector. Depending on peeling speed, pressure and choice of material combination, electrons with energies sufficient to excite emission in the hard X-ray region are produced. The results are discussed in terms of triboelectric separation of charge carriers. 相似文献
