Effect of organic modifier and temperature on the resolution of betamethasone and dexamethasone using a porous graphitic carbon column: application to their identification and confirmation in human urine by LC-ESI-MS/MS

The effects of temperature, organic modifier and the type of acid on the retention factor, the resolution and peak shape of betamethasone and dexamethasone are described. The study is performed using narrow bore porous graphitic carbon (PGC) columns online with diode-array detector (DAD) and ESI MS/MS. The results show that temperature affects the retention behaviour of the two compounds and ACN yields the best separation while no effect is obtained by changing the type of organic acid. The developed method is applied for the confirmation of dexamethasone and betamethasone in human urine.

Dielectric measurements,X-ray diffraction and raman studies of mixed caesium-ammonium mercury chloride: Cs0.7(NH4)0.3HgCl3

Measurements of the dielectric constants have revealed a transition at T=449K in Cs_0.7(NH₄)_0.3HgCl₃. This transition was confirmed by X-ray diffraction and Raman scattering on polycrystalline samples. The room-temperature phase is ordered and exhibits trigonal symmetry (space group P3₂ with the unit cell dimensions a = 13.295(11) Å; c = 9.419(8) Å). Transport properties in this material appear to be due to the high mobility of NH⁺ ₄ andCs⁺.     

基于光电振荡器的宽带射频下转换及在高清视频传输的应用

以无压缩全高清视频的光载无线传输为背景,通过研究宽带射频光子下转换技术,从而构建全高清视频的实时传输系统,其中下转换系统主要基于光电振荡器实现.由于光电振荡器的注入锁定,光微波信号中的载波信号被提取出来,并反馈至调制器,与宽带光微波信号混频,在光域实现信号下转换.实验论证了载频为10GHz,码率大于2Gb/s的信号下转换和有线无线传输.利用天线和光纤实现了距离为0.5 m的无线分发和距离为10km的有线传输.本文还成功实现了1.5Gb/s无压缩高清视频信号的实时传输.实验结果表明,该系统具有大带宽、抗电磁干扰等优点,同时利用光电振荡器的自动相位跟踪技术,无须外加锁相等操作.整个下转换系统简单稳定,为高清视频的有线无线传输提供了论证和演示平台.     

A New Non-centrosymmetric Microporous Fluorinated Iron Phosphate: Structural Elucidation,Spectroscopic Study and Hirshfeld Surface Analysis

The crystal structure of a new non-centrosymmetric microporous fluorinated iron phosphate, (H₃O)₂[Fe₄(H₂O)₂F₄(PO₄)₂(HPO₄)₂](H₂O), was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and the result reveals that it belongs to the orthorhombic system with four molecules in the unit cell(space group P2₁2₁2₁). Thus, the complex was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, spectroscopic techniques(Fourier transform infrared and Fourier transform Raman) and ¹⁹F MAS NMR. The elemental analysis of the sample was also carried out. The chiral inorganic sheets, which stacked along[100] showed the presence of FeF₂O₄ as well as FeF₂O₃H₂O octahedra, PO₄ besides HPO₄ tetrahedra, hydronium ions(H₃O⁺) and isolated water molecules. Hirshfeld surface analysis, especially d_nom surface and fingerprint plots, were used for decoding the intermolecular interactions in the crystal network and the contribution of component units for the construction of the 3D architecture. From the Hirshfeld surfaces and 2D fingerprint analysis, it was found that the subtle interactions, such as H…H associating the third intense interaction of all intercontacts, provide extra stabilization in addition to the presence of the strong hydrogen bonds mentioned above.     

Development and validation of a turbidimetry method for hydrogen sulphide evaluation in effluents of phosphoric acid production unit

The aim of this study was to develop and validate a simple, new and efficient method for the analysis of hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) released from the effluents of phosphoric acid production units. H₂S sampling was performed by absorption of the industrial gas into a cadmium acetate absorbing solution. The formed cadmium sulphide (CdS), as a result of a chemical reaction, was analysed by turbidimetry. A methodical validation study of the proposed method was performed according to the requirements of ISO 17025 standards. The proposed method was demonstrated to be precise, linear and accurate over a concentration range of 6.91–92.16 mg/l. Detection and quantification limits were equal to 5.09 mg/l and 6.91 mg/l, respectively. Sample analysis had to be performed within 48 h of the sampling step. The turbidimetry method was applied successfully to the industrial gaseous effluents and can be considered as an economical alternative to the iodometric method.     

The Jacobi-Dunkl transform on ℝ and the convolution product on new spaces of distributions

In this work, we consider the Jacobi-Dunkl operator Λ _α,β , a 3 b 3 \frac-12\alpha\geq\beta\geq\frac{-1}{2} , a 1 \frac-12\alpha\neq\frac{-1}{2} , on ℝ. The eigenfunction Y_l^a,b\Psi_{\lambda}^{\alpha,\beta} of this operator permits to define the Jacobi-Dunkl transform. The main idea in this paper is to introduce and study the Jacobi-Dunkl transform and the Jacobi-Dunkl convolution product on new spaces of distributions     

Crystal structure of a new double salt hydrate SrCd2Cl6⋅8H2O

SrCd₂Cl₆8H₂O crystallizes in the space group and has the unit cell dimensions a = 9.688(2) Å, b = 11.212(2) Å, c = 7.732(3) Å, = 99.85(21)°, = 89.95(22)°, = 75.81(13)°, and Z = 2. After refinement through full-matrix least-squares methods, the reliability factor R in the final cycle is 4.65%. A very persistent occurrence of twinning by pseudosymmetry was observed. The twin element is a twofold axis [001]. The title compound exhibits five endothermic peaks, which have been detected by differential scanning calorimetry and interpreted from thermogravimetry.
