Summary A new micromethod for spectrophotometric determination of hydrazine compounds is described. It is based on a reaction withperi-naphthindan-2,3,4-trione hydrate at pH 2.5 to give a red precipitate of dihydroxy-peri-naphthindenone which is dissolved in methanol and measured at 460 nm. The results obtained show an average recovery of 99.8 %, the precision being ± 1 %.
Zusammenfassung Eine neue Mikromethode zur spektrophotometrischen Bestimmung von Hydrazinverbindungen wurde beschrieben. Sie beruht auf der Reaktion mit peri-Naphthindan-2,3,4-trion-hydrat bei pH 2,5, wobei ein roter Niederschlag von Dihydroxy-peri-naphthindenon entsteht, der in Methanol gelöst und bei 460 nm gemessen wird. 99,8% Substanz werden wiedergefunden, die Genauigkeit beträgt ±1%.

Molecular dynamics simulations on quantum energy surfaces are carried out to study the effects of perturbing electric fields on proton transport (PT) in protonated water chains. As an idealized model of a hydrophobic cavity in the interior of a protein the water molecules are confined into a carbon nanotube (CNT). The water chain connects a hydrated hydronium ion (H3O+) at one end of the CNT and an imidazole molecule at the other end. Without perturbing electric fields PT from the hydronium proton donor to the imidazole acceptor occurs on a picosecond time scale. External perturbations to PT are created by electric fields of varying intensities, normal to the CNT axis, generated by a neutral pair of charges on the nanotube wall. For fields above approximately 0.5 VA, the hydronium ion is effectively trapped at the CNT center, and PT blocked. Fields of comparable strength are generated inside proteins by nearby polar/charged amino acids. At lower fields the system displays a rich dynamic behavior, where the excess charge shuttles back and forth along the water chain before reaching the acceptor group on the picosecond time scale. The effects of the perturbing field on the proton movement are analyzed in terms of structural and dynamic properties of the water chain. The implications of these observations on PT in biomolecular systems and its control by external perturbing fields are discussed.  相似文献

Up to 100 microg of sample can be collected from gold or silver alloys by rubbing the specimen with the ground hemispherical tip of a 4-mm Pyrex glass rod. Gold alloys are then dissolved in potassium cyanide solution containing hydrogen peroxide; silver alloys are exposed to vapours of nitric acid. Procedures for transfer, ring oven separation and identification of alloy constituents in the sample solutions are described.  相似文献

The experimental flow visualization tool, Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), is being extended to determine the velocity fields in three-dimensional, two-phase fluid flows. In the past few years, the technique has attracted quite a lot of interest. PIV enables fluid velocities across a region of a flow to be measured at a single instant in time in the whole volume (global) of interest. This instantaneous velocity profile of a given flow field is determined by digitally recording particle (microspheres or bubbles) images within the flow over multiple successive video frames and then conducting flow pattern identification and analysis of the data. This paper presents instantaneous velocity measurements in various three-dimensional, bubbly two-phase flow situations. This information is useful for developing or improving existing computer constitutive models that simulate this type of flow field. It is also useful for understanding the detailed structure of two-phase flows.  相似文献

Synergistic extraction of samarium with TTA(HA) and TPPO or TOPO (B) mixtures were investigated. The extracted complex was proved to have the general formula SmA3 · 2B. A graphical determination for the formation constants of these complexes gave the values 3.9 × 1013 and 8.2 × 1010 for SmA3 · 2TOPO and SmA3 · 2TPPO in benzene, respectively.  相似文献

Summary A new simple, rapid and accurate amplification micro method for fluoride determination is described. It is based on the reaction between the sparingly soluble calcium iodate and the fluoride ion. After adding isopropyl alcohol to the solution, so that its final concentration is 65%, and filtering, an equivalent amount of the iodate is obtained. The latter is titrated iodometrically resulting in a six-fold amplification of the titre. The method is reproducible over a range from 0.4–8 mg fluoride ion. The mean recovery is 99.69%, after applying a correction factor due to potassium iodate solubility.
Zusammenfassung Ein Multiplikationsverfahren zur Mikrobestimmung von Fluorid wurde beschrieben. Es beruht auf der Umsetzung zwischen dem schlecht löslichen Calciumjodat und Fluorid. Nach Zusatz von i-Propylalkohol, bis die Lösung 65% davon enthält, wird filtriert. Die äquivalente Jodatmenge wird jodometrisch titriert. Zwischen 0,4 und 8 mg Fluorid sind die Ergebnisse reproduzierbar. Bei Anwendung eines Korrekturfaktors wegen der Löslichkeit von Kaliumjodat wurden 99,69% Fluorid wieder gefunden.

Iterative asymmetric allylation employing 1,3‐propanediol enables the rapid assembly of protected 1,3‐polyol substructures with exceptional levels of stereocontrol.

This paper describes a simple spectrofluorometric method for the analysis of 4 macrolide antibiotics. The method is based on the condensation of 10% (w/v) malonic acid and acetic acid anhydride under the catalytic effect of tertiary amine groups of the studied macrolides. The relative fluorescence intensity of the condensation product was measured at 397/452 nm (excitation/emission) for azithromycin dihydrate and at 392/445 nm (for clarithromycin, erythromycin ethylsuccinate, and roxithromycin. All variables affecting the reaction conditions were studied. The effects of potential interference due to common excipients, such as starch, lactose, sucrose, glucose, gum acacia, and magnesium stearate, as well as trimethoprim and sulfisoxazole acetyl formulated in primomycin capsules and pediazole oral suspension, respectively, were studied. A validation study for the proposed method was carried out according to U.S. Pharmacopeia 2002. The linearity ranges were 3-80 ng/mL for all of the cited macrolides. The limit of detection range was 0.74-1.20 ng/mL, while the limit of quantitation range was 2.47-4.02 ng/mL. The method was applied for the assay of the studied macrolides in pure pharmaceutical formulations and in spiked biological fluids. Results were compared with those obtained from the reported method, where calculated t- and F-values indicated high accuracy and good precision for the proposed method.  相似文献

Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) has been investigated in two II1-xMnxVI alloys--Cd1-xMnxSe and Cd1-xMnxS--for a series of high Mn concentrations and at low temperatures T, i.e., under conditions where the spin subsystems in these materials are strongly coupled. We have observed a very significant shift of the resonance field from the EPR position of Mn2+ ions that increases with increasing x and with decreasing T. Furthermore, the use of multiple frequencies has allowed us to attribute the observed shift to an internal field that originates from the spin sublattice within the II1-xMnxVI host.  相似文献
