There have been many results obtained so far for the mean square of the (absolute) value of the Dirichlet L-function L(s,) in the critical strip 0<<1, especially on the critical line , but relatively few results were known for discrete mean value of |L(1,)|2 till W. Zhang had published papers improving the error term step by step, which have recently been superseded by M. Katsurada and K.Matsumoto in which they succeeded in deriving an asymptotic formula for 0|L(1,)|2. Background
The prognostic implications of late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) have been evaluated in ischemic and non-ischemic cardiomyopathies. The present study analyzed LGE distribution in patients with end-stage hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (ES-HCM) and with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), and tried to identify high risk patients in DCM.Methods
Eleven patients with ES-HCM and 72 with DCM underwent cine- and LGE-cardiac magnetic resonance and ultrasound cardiography. The patient outcome was analyzed retrospectively for 5 years of follow-up.Results
LGE distributed mainly in the inter-ventricular septum, but spread more diffusely into other left ventricular segments in patients with ES-HCM and in a certain part of patients with DCM. Thus, patients with DCM can be divided into three groups according to LGE distribution; no LGE (n = 24), localized LGE (localized at septum, n = 36), and extensive LGE (spread into other segments, n = 12). Reverse remodeling occurred after treatment in patients with no LGE and with localized LGE, but did not in patients with extensive LGE and with ES-HCM. The event-free survival rate for composite outcome (cardiac death, hospitalization for decompensated heart failure or ventricular arrhythmias) was lowest in patients with extensive LGE (92%, 74% and 42% in no LGE, localized LGE, and extensive LGE, p = 0.02 vs. no LGE), and was comparable to that in patients with ES-HCM (42%).Conclusions
In DCM, patients with extensive LGE showed no functional recovery and the lowest event-free survival rate that were comparable to patients with ES-HCM. The analysis of LGE distribution may be valuable to predict reverse remodeling and to identify high-risk patients. 相似文献76.

The electronic conductivity of pure ceria with two different impurity levels is examined by dc polarization technique based on the Hebb-Wagner ion blocking method. The impurity level for the ceria with 99.999% purity (5N-CeO2) is about 1/100 of that with 99.9% purity (3N-CeO2) as confirmed by the fluorescence intensity of impurities obtained by Raman spectroscopy. The electronic conductivity for the 5N-CeO2 was measured at T = 973 K to 1173 K, and the results are essentially the same as those for the 3N-CeO2. The electronic conductivity increases with decreasing of P(O2) following slope values of − 1/4 to − 1/6. The − 1/4 dependent region becomes narrower for the 5N-CeO2 than that for the 3N-CeO2. For both types of ceria, the P(O2) independent region appears in the same region of higher than 10− 2 and 10− 3 MPa at T = 1073 K and 973 K, respectively. Activation energies for the 5N-CeO2 were 2.2 eV, 2.6 eV and 1.9 eV in P(O2) dependent regions of − 1/6, − 1/4 and 0, respectively. 相似文献

We report herein a general catalytic method for Csp2?Csp3 bond formation through C?F activation. The process uses an inexpensive nickel complex with either diorganozinc or alkylzinc halide reagents, including those with β‐hydrogen atoms. A mono-energetic positron beam was applied for a study of native defects in GaAs. From measurements of Doppler broadening profiles and lifetime spectra of positrons, it was found that Ga-vacancies were introduced by Si-doping. On the other hand, for p-type GaAs, interstitial clusters were found to be introduced by Zn-doping. The observed species of defects are in agreement with those expected from the Fermi level. 相似文献

The effect of lattice defects on positron annihilation in semiconductors was studied. In silicon, any detectable doping effect
could not be found. In germanium, the thermal equilibrium measurements of annihilation lineshapes showed no vacancy effect.

The heat capacity results for platinum from 80 to 1000 K, reported in our previous paper, have been analyzed. The contributions of bare electrons and harmonic phonons to the heat capacity have been evaluated from the available data on the band structure and the phonon spectrum of platinum. At low temperatures, the present estimates for the temperature dependence of the electron-phonon enhancement agree qualitatively with those derived from theoretical calculations found in the literature. The anharmonic heat capacity obtained is negative and linear with temperature in the vicinity of the Debye temperature (237 K), and becomes constant above 450 K. The enhancement in the heat capacity above 1000 K has been analyzed and found to be due mainly to the enlargement of the dilation term corresponding to the similar enhancement in the thermal expansion. 相似文献
