Intermetallic Nd(2)Fe(14)B nanoparticles with an average diameter of 30 nm, which are smaller than a theoretical single magnetic domain size of 220 nm, were successfully prepared by the femtosecond laser fragmentation in liquid. The self-passivating amorphous carbon layer resulting from the decomposition of the surrounding solvent prevents the Nd(2)Fe(14)B nanoparticle from aggregation and oxidation. The coercivity of Nd(2)Fe(14)B nanoparticle increases with increase of the laser irradiation time, despite the reduction of crystallinity.  相似文献

We newly synthesized various sized gold nanoparticles covered with photochromic polymers consisting of diarylethenes with various structures to investigate an effect of the gold nanoparticles on the photocycloreversion reaction of the diarylethene chromophores upon irradiation with visible light. The gold nanoparticles covered with the photochromic polymers exhibited reversible changes in localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) absorption along with the photochromic reaction depending on the diameter of the particle, the distance between the gold surface and the chromophore, and the structure of the diarylethene chromophore. The rate of the photocycloreversion reaction of the chromophores around the particle was enhanced by the gold nanoparticles and the degree of the enhancement was affected by the diameter of the particle and the distance from the gold surface, while a structural difference in the diarylethene chromophore had no effect on the degree of the enhancement. The larger enhancement of the photocycloreversion reaction was observed by irradiation at longer wavelength side than visible light corresponding to the LSPR frequency.  相似文献

A catechin hetero-trimer isolated from Ziziphus jujuba has been synthesized. Among three constituent monomers, (-)-epiafzelechin and (-)-epigallocatechin were prepared by de novo synthesis. Trimer formation relied on the unified approach to oligomers based on the bromo-capping and the orthogonal activation, reaching the reported structure of the natural product.  相似文献

We investigated the electronic state of an (Am,U) mixed oxide with the fluorite structure using the all-electron full potential linear augmented plane wave method and compared it with those of Am2O3, AmO2, UO2, and La0.5U0.5O2. The valence of Am in the mixed oxide was close to that of Am2O3 and the valence of U in the mixed oxide was pentavalent. The electronic structure of AmO2 was different from that of Am2O3, particularly just above the Fermi level. In addition, the electronic states of Am and U in the mixed oxide were similar to those of trivalent Am and pentavalent U oxides. These electronic states reflected the high oxygen potential of AmO2 and the heightened oxygen potential resulting from the addition of Am to UO2 and also suggested the occurrence of charge transfer from Am to U in the solid solution process.  相似文献

We are going to perform an inclusive spectroscopy experiment of η′ mesic nuclei with the 12C(p,d) reaction to study in-medium properties of the η′ meson. In nuclear medium, the η′ meson mass may be reduced due to partial restoration of chiral symmetry. In case of sufficiently large mass reduction and small absorption width of η′ at normal nuclear density, peak structures of η′ mesic states in 11C will be observed near the η′ emission threshold even in an inclusive spectrum. The experiment will be carried out at GSI with proton beam supplied by SIS using FRS as a spectrometer. The detail of the experiment is described.  相似文献

The unoccupied π * states of the solid film of electron accepting organic molecules, 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ), fluorinated TCNQ derivatives, 11,11,12,12-tetracyanonaphtho-2,6-quinodimethane (TNAP), C60, and 6,6-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) have been studied by inverse photoemission spectroscopy. The assignment of the π * affinity levels of these typical electron accepting molecules provides the basic information for the organic electronics and the new electronic functional molecular design. The comparison with density functional theory calculations enables understanding how the electron affinity evolves in terms of molecular orbitals. The correlation between the film morphology and the irradiation damage on the TCNQ derivative samples by electron impact during the inverse photoemission measurements is also discussed.  相似文献

This study aimed to compare the SARS-CoV-2-inactivation activity and virucidal mechanisms of ozonated water (OW) with those of slightly acidic electrolyzed water (SAEW) and 70% ethanol (EtOH). SARS-CoV-2-inactivation activity was evaluated in a virus solution containing 1%, 20% or 40% fetal bovine serum (FBS) with OW, SAEW or EtOH at a virus-to-test solution ratio of 1:9, 1:19 or 1:99 for a reaction time of 20 s. EtOH showed the strongest virucidal activity, followed by SAEW and OW. Even though EtOH potently inactivated the virus despite the 40% FBS concentration, virus inactivation by OW and SAEW decreased in proportion to the increase in FBS concentration. Nevertheless, OW and SAEW showed potent virucidal activity with 40% FBS at a virus-to-test solution ratio of 1:99. Real-time PCR targeting the viral genome revealed that cycle threshold values in the OW and SAEW groups were significantly higher than those in the control group, suggesting that OW and SAEW disrupted the viral genome. Western blotting analysis targeting the recombinant viral spike protein S1 subunit showed a change in the specific band into a ladder upon treatment with OW and SAEW. OW and SAEW may cause conformational changes in the S1 subunit of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein.  相似文献

Allosteric pluripotency arises when an allosteric effector switches from agonist to antagonist depending on the experimental conditions. For example, the Rp-cAMPS ligand of Protein Kinase A (PKA) switches from agonist to antagonist as the MgATP concentration increases and/or the kinase substrate affinity or concentration decreases. Understanding allosteric pluripotency is essential to design effective allosteric therapeutics with minimal side effects. Allosteric pluripotency of PKA arises from divergent allosteric responses of two homologous tandem cAMP-binding domains, resulting in a free energy landscape for the Rp-cAMPS-bound PKA regulatory subunit R1a in which the ground state is kinase inhibition-incompetent and the kinase inhibition-competent state is excited. The magnitude of the free energy difference between the ground non-inhibitory and excited inhibitory states (ΔGR,Gap) relative to the effective free energy of R1a binding to the catalytic subunit of PKA (ΔGR:C) dictates whether the antagonism-to-agonism switch occurs. However, the key drivers of ΔGR,Gap are not fully understood. Here, by analyzing an R1a mutant that selectively silences allosteric pluripotency, we show that a major determinant of ΔGR,Gap unexpectedly arises from state-selective frustration in the ground inhibition-incompetent state of Rp-cAMPS-bound R1a. Such frustration is caused by steric clashes between the phosphate-binding cassette and the helices preceding the lid, which interact with the phosphate and base of Rp-cAMPS, respectively. These clashes are absent in the excited inhibitory state, thus reducing the ΔGR,Gap to values comparable to ΔGR:C, as needed for allosteric pluripotency to occur. The resulting model of allosteric pluripotency is anticipated to assist the design of effective allosteric modulators.

The Rp-cAMPS ligand of protein kinase A switches from agonist to antagonist depending on metabolite and proteomic contexts. We show that the state-selective frustration is a key driver of this allosteric pluripotency phenomenon.  相似文献
