A molecular dynamic method in conjunction with a statistic test has been utilized to model chiral recognition of a -phenylethylamine on heptakis (2,6-di-O-butyl-3-O-butyryl)-b -cyclodextrin in gas chromatography. In situ ultra high vacuum scanning probe microscopy (SPM) and low-temperature photoluminescence (PL) studies have been performed on Si-doped self-organized InAs/GaAs quantum dots samples to investigate the Si doping effects. Remarkably, when Si is doped in the sample, according to the SPM images, more small dots are formed when compared with images from undoped samples. On the PL spectra, high-energy band tail which correspond to the small dots appear, with increasing doping concentration, the integral intensity of the high-energy band tail account for the whole peak increase too. We relate this phenomenon to a model that takes the Si atom as the nucleation center for QDs formation. 相似文献

Instability of a thin electrolyte film undergoing a direct current electroosmotic flow has been investigated. The film with a compliant electrolyte–air interface is flowing over a rigid charged substrate. Unlike previous studies, inclusion of the Maxwell stresses in the formulation shows the presence of a new finite wavenumber shear-flow mode of instability, alongside the more frequently observed long-wave interfacial mode. The shear mode is found to be the dominant mode of instability when the electrolyte–solid and electrolyte–air interfaces are of opposite charge or of same charge but have very large zeta-potential at the electrolyte–air interface. The conditions for mode-switch (interfacial to shear) and the direction of the travelling waves are discussed through stability diagrams. Interestingly, the analysis shows that when the interfaces are of nearly same zeta potential, the ‘free’ electrolyte–air interface behaves more like a ‘stationary’ wall because of the ion transport in the reverse direction of the flow. 相似文献

ZnS nanoribbon film has been successfully prepared by solvothermal treating of Zn foil and S powder in hydrazine hydrate without any surfactant and post-high temperature treatment. The prepared samples were characterized by XRD, SEM and PL. Results show that the obtained films were with high crystallinity and uniformity. The obtained samples were used as a photocatalyst for degradation of dye X-3B, and results show that the dye can be photocatalytically degraded with high rate by as-prepared ZnS nanoribbon film under UV light irradiation. 相似文献

Copolymerization of acrylic acid and p‐chloromethylstyrene (p‐CMS) in dioxane initiated with α,α′‐azobisisobutyronitrile was carried out to produce macroinitiator P(AA‐co‐CMS) containing PhCH2Cl group at 65°C. Then methyl methacrylate was grafted onto P(AA‐co‐CMS) backbone using PhCH2Cl group as an initiation site and FeCl2/triphenyl phosphine complex as a catalyst. The resulted copolymer (AA‐co‐CMS)‐g‐PMMA with a comb‐like branched structure has a hydrophilic backbone (PAA) and hydrophobic side chains (PMMA). Compositions and structures of macroinitiator and the grafted product of P(AA‐co‐CMS)‐g‐PMMA were determined by 1H‐NMR, infrared (IR), and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The average graft number, the average length of branch chains, the graft ratio, and the graft efficiency were investigated. The swelling behavior of the comb‐like branched polymer was also investigated. The gradual increase of swelling ratios was accompanied by an increase of pH and temperature. The kinetic exponents indicated that the swelling transport mechanisms transformed from Fickian diffusion to non‐Fickian transport as the decreasing pH. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献
