The crystal and molecular structure of the title compound has been determined by X-ray analysis. The 1-(p-fluorophenylmethyl)-2-(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)-1H-benzimidazole ion cocrystallizes with fumaric acid, (C19H22N4F+·C4H3O

), in space group P-1 with cell dimensions a = 9.938(1), b = 10.131(1), c = 12.712(1) Å, = 86.57(1), = 69.41(2), and = 67.22(2)°. The piperazine N4 atom is protonated and contacts the deprotonated O atom of the fumarate anion through a hydrogen bond. The benzimidazole ring is nearly planar and makes a dihedral angle of 111.25(12)° with the fluorophenyl ring. The piperazine ring adopts a chair conformation. 相似文献

E. coli and Salmonella are two of the most common bacterial pathogens involved in foodborne and waterborne related deaths. Hence, it is critical to develop rapid and sensitive detection strategies for near‐outbreak applications. Reported is a simple and specific assay to detect as low as 1 CFU mL?1 of E. coli in water within 6 hours by targeting the bacteria's surface protease activity. The assay relies on polythiophene acetic acid (PTAA) as an optical reporter and a short unlabeled peptide (LL37FRRV) previously optimized as a substrate for OmpT, an outer‐membrane protease on E. coli. LL37FRRV interacts with PTAA to enhance its fluorescence while also inducing the formation of a helical PTAA‐LL37FRRV construct, as confirmed by circular dichroism. However, in the presence of E. coli LL37FRRV is cleaved and can no longer affect the conformations and optical properties of PTAA. This ability to distinguish between an intact and cleaved peptide was investigated in detail using LL37FRRV sequence variants. 相似文献

The Schiff base (Z)-1-[(2,4-dimethoxyphenylamino)methylene]naphthalen-2(1H)-one was synthesized from the reaction of 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde with 2,4-dimethoxyaniline. The title compound has been characterized by FT-IR, UV-Vis and, X-ray single-crystal techniques. The present X-ray investigation shows that the compound exists in the keto-amine tautomeric form. Molecular geometry and vibrational frequencies of the compound in the ground state have been calculated using the density functional theory (DFT) with 6–311G(d, p) basis set and compared with the experimental data. The calculated results show that the optimized geometry is compatible with the crystal structure and the theoretical vibrational frequencies are in good agreement with the experimental values. Besides, molecular electrostatic potential (MEP), frontier molecular orbital analysis (HOMO-LUMO) and non-linear optical (NLO) properties of the compound were investigated using the same theoretical calculations. 相似文献

Novel alkyl substituted 3-(4-benzoyl-1,5-diphenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)-3-oxo-2-(triphenylphosphoranylidene) propanoates (3) were synthesized from 4-benzoyl-1,5-diphenyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carbonylchloride (1) and alkyl (triphenylphosphoranylidene) acetates (2a–b). The synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopic studies (3a–b), and single crystal X-ray diffraction (3a). The mechanism of the reaction between (1) and (2a) was studied by AM1, and the geometrical parameters of the studied molecules were also carried out in B3LYP methods with the standard 6–31G (d,p) basis set. A simple and efficient synthesis of novel 3-(benzimidazol-2-yl)- and 3,6-di(benzimidazol-2-yl)-9-ethyl-9H-carbazoles is described. The synthetic approach for the preparation of 2-substituted benzimidazoles 4–8 and bis-benzimidazoles 9–12 was achieved by the condensation of carbazole-3-carbaldehyde 2 and carbazole-3,6-dicarbaldehyde 3 with o-phenyldiamines in dimethylformamide or dimethylsulfoxide in moderate to excellent yield. We report here on the rational synthesis, processing, and dielectric properties of novel layer-by-layer organic/inorganic hybrid multilayer dielectric films enabled by polarizable π-electron phosphonic acid building blocks and ultrathin ZrO(2) layers. These new zirconia-based self-assembled nanodielectric (Zr-SAND) films (5-12 nm thick) are readily fabricated via solution processes under ambient atmosphere. Attractive Zr-SAND properties include amenability to accurate control of film thickness, large-area uniformity, well-defined nanostructure, exceptionally large electrical capacitance (up to 750 nF/cm(2)), excellent insulating properties (leakage current densities as low as 10(-7) A/cm(2)), and excellent thermal stability. Thin-film transistors (TFTs) fabricated with pentacene and PDIF-CN(2) as representative organic semiconductors and zinc-tin-oxide (Zn-Sn-O) as a representative inorganic semiconductor function well at low voltages (<±4.0 V). Furthermore, the TFT performance parameters of representative organic semiconductors deposited on Zr-SAND films, functionalized on the surface with various alkylphosphonic acid self-assembled monolayers, are investigated and shown to correlate closely with the alkylphosphonic acid chain dimensions. 相似文献
