Two tetranuclear complexes, [M(H3L)]4·X (1, M = Cu, X = 4,4′-dpdo; 2, M = Ni, X = DMF, H5L = 2-[(3,5-dibromo-2-hydroxybenzyl) amino]-2-(hydroxymethyl)propane-1,3-diol, 4,4′-dpdo is 4,4′-bipyridine-N,N′-dioxide, DMF = N,N′-dimethyl formamide), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. Compound 1 features a centrosymmetric tetranuclear copper cluster which further constructed a 1D chain through a tetra-acceptor hydrogen bonds of 4,4′-dpdo molecule. Compound 2 having a P21 /n space group also exhibits a tetranuclear nickel cluster with a cubane topology in which the central Ni(II) ion and oxygen atoms from H3L2? occupy the alternate vertices of the cube. Magnetic properties of 1 and 2 in the 2–300 K have also been discussed. The tetranuclear cubanes cores display dominant ferromagnetic interactions. 相似文献

The adsorption of glycine and l-cysteine on Si(111)-7 x 7 was investigated using high-resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (HREELS) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The observation of the characteristic vibrational modes and electronic structures of NH3+ and COO- groups for physisorbed glycine (l-cysteine) demonstrates the formation of zwitterionic species in multilayers. For chemisorbed molecules, the appearance of nu(Si-H), nu(Si-O), and nu(C=Omicron) and the absence of nu(O-H) clearly indicate that glycine and l-cysteine dissociate to produce monodentate carboxylate adducts on Si(111)-7 x 7. XPS results further verified the coexistence of two chemisorption states for each amino acid, corresponding to a Si-NH-CH2-COO-Si [Si-NHCH(CH2SH)COO-Si] species with new sigma-linkages of Si-N and Si-O, and a NH2-CH2-COO-Si [NH2CH(CH2SH)COO-Si] product through the cleavage of the O-H bond, respectively. Glycine/Si(111)-7 x 7 and l-cysteine/Si(111)-7 x 7 can be viewed as model systems for further modification of Si surfaces with biological molecules. 相似文献

A soluble poly(meta-phenylene)derivative with rigid twisted biphenyl unit was synthesized by the Yamamoto coupling reaction.The polymer is soluble in common organic solvents,and the number-average molecular weight is about 6500.The UV-Vis and quantum chemical calculation indicate that the different conformation segments named "conformers" exist in the polymer backbones;it was also further confirmed by the single crystal X-ray diffraction study of the dimeric model compound.The π-π transition of biphenyl segments of twisted and planar conformations made the polymer exhibit a strong absorption around 256 nm and a weak absorption at about 300 nm.Furthermore,the polymer exhibits a strong UV photoluminescence at 372 nm when the excitation wavelengths are longer than 300 nm.The ultraviolet-emitting electroluminescence(EL)device with the single layer structure shows EL λmax of the derivative at 370 nm. 相似文献

Doping is a vitally important technique that can be used to modulate the properties of two‐dimensional materials. In this work, by using first‐principles density functional calculations, we investigated the electrical properties of SnSe2 monolayers by p‐type/n‐type and isoelectronic doping. Substitution at Sn/Se sites was found to be easy if the monolayer was grown under Sn‐/Se‐poor conditions. Substitutions at Sn sites with metallic atoms (e.g. Ga, Ge, In, Bi, Sb, Pb) resulted in positive substitution energies, which indicated that they were not effective doping candidates. For substitutions at Se sites with nonmetallic atoms, no promising candidates were found for p‐type doping (e.g., N, P, As). Among these, N and As showed positive substitution energies. Although P had a negative substitution energy under Sn‐rich conditions, it introduced trap states within the band gap. For n‐type doping (e.g., F, Cl, Br), all the calculated substitution energies were negative under both Sn‐ and Se‐rich conditions. Br was proven to be a promising candidate, because the impurity introduced a shallow donor level. Finally, for isoelectronic doping (e.g., O, S, Te), the intrinsic semiconducting features of the SnSe2 monolayer did not change, and the contribution from the impurity to the states near the band edge increased with the atomic number. 相似文献

One new β-carboline alkaloid 7-methoxy-(9H-β-carbolin-1-il)-(E)-1-propenoic acid (1) together with 9-methoxycanthin-6-one (2) and 9-hydroxycanthin-6-one (3) were isolated from the hairy-root cultures of Eurycoma longifolia. The effects of these compounds on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced nitric oxide (NO) production in RAW264.7 cells were investigated. Compound 1 strongly inhibited the production of NO while 2 and 3 having weak or inactive effect. The synthesis and characterization of a series of novel poly(aryl amide imide)s based on diphenyltrimellitic anhydride are described. The poly(aryl amide imide)s, having inherent viscosities of 0.39–1.43 dL/g in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone at 30°C, were prepared by polymerization with aromatic diamines in N,N-dimethylacetamide and subsequent chemical imidization. All the polymers were amorphous, readily soluble in aprotic polar solvents such as DMAC, NMP, dimethylsulfoxide, N,N-dimethylformamide, and m-cresol, and could be cast to form flexible and tough films. The glass transition temperatures were in the range of 284–366°C, and the temperatures for 5% weight loss in nitrogen were above 468°C. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. We consider applying the Douglas–Rachford splitting method (DRSM) to the convex minimization problem with linear constraints and a separable objective function. The dual application of DRSM has been well studied in the literature, resulting in the well known alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM). In this paper, we show that the primal application of DRSM in combination with an appropriate decomposition can yield an efficient structure-exploiting algorithm for the model under consideration, whose subproblems could be easier than those of ADMM. Both the exact and inexact versions of this customized DRSM are studied; and their numerical efficiency is demonstrated by some preliminary numerical results. 相似文献
