The magnetic properties of as-grown Ga1-xMnxAs have been investigated by the systematic measurements of temperature and magnetic field dependent soft x-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD). The intrinsic XMCD intensity at high temperatures obeys the Curie-Weiss law, but a residual spin magnetic moment appears already around 100 K, significantly above the Curie temperature (T_{C}), suggesting that short-range ferromagnetic correlations are developed above T_{C}. The present results also suggest that the antiferromagnetic interaction between the substitutional and interstitial Mn (Mn_{int}) ions exists and that the amount of the Mn_{int} affects T_{C}. 相似文献

A novel sensor for acetate containing thiourea and hydrazone structure has been synthesized. The anion recognition via hydrogen-bonding interactions could be monitored by anion complexation, which induced changes in UV-vis and fluorescence spectra. In particular, the recognition process could be easily detected by the ‘naked-eye’. Applying the improved Rayleigh SchrSdinger perturbation theory based on an integral equation to helium-like ions in ground states and treating electron correlations as perturbations, we obtain the second-order corrections to wavefunctions consisting of a few terms and the third-order corrections to energicity. It is demonstrated that the corrected wavefunctions are bounded and quadratically integrable, and the corresponding perturbation series is convergent. The results clear off the previous distrust for the convergence in the quantum perturbation theory and show a reciprocal development on the quantum perturbation problem of the ground state helium-like systems. 相似文献

It is previously found that the two-dimensional (2D) electron-pair in a homogeneous magnetic field has a set of exact solutions
for a denumerably infinite set of magnetic fields. Here we demonstrate that as a function of magnetic field a band-like structure
of energy associated with the exact pair states exists. A direct and simple connection between the pair states and the quantum
Hall effect is revealed by the band-like structure of the hydrogen “pseudo-atom”. From such a connection one can predict the

We report a metamaterial absorber (MA) with a broad absorption band in the frequency region of 2–4 GHz, whose thickness is
not limited to the quarter-wavelength. Theoretical and experimental results show that the absorber has two adjacent absorption
apexes at 2.24 and 3.46 GHz, respectively, which are both related to the electric and magnetic resonances of the metamaterial.
The absorption is over 68% in the whole wave band of 2–4 GHz provided the thickness of 4 mm. The distributions of the surface
currents and the power loss density indicate that the surface currents produced by the electric and magnetic resonances are
strongly consumed by the resistive patches. This low-frequency absorber has potential applications in many scientific and

The optical design of a beam splitter that has a 50/50 splitting ratio regardless of the polarization is presented. The non-polarizing beam splitter (NPBS) is based on the fused-silica rectangular transmission gratings with high intensity tolerance. The modal method has been used to estimate the effective index of the modes excited in the grating region for TE and TM polarizations. If a phase difference equals an odd multiples of π/2 for the first two modes (i.e. modes 0 and 1), the incident light will be diffracted into the 0 and ?1 orders with about 50% and 50% diffraction efficiency for TM and TE polarizations, respectively. 相似文献

The properties of TiO2 nanoparticles synthesized using the flame stabilized on a rotating surface method (FSRS) are investigated. The method uses a laminar, premixed, stagnation flame, combining particle synthesis and film deposition in a single step. The current study examines the effects of flame properties on particle characteristics. Synthesized particles were characterized using X-ray diffractometry, Transmission Electron Microscopy and UV–vis spectrometry in order to quantify the effects of equivalence ratio and precursor loading on particle size, crystallinity and optical band-gap. Results show that flame stoichiometry significantly affects crystal phase, but it has little to no effect on particle size and light absorption band edge. In addition, precursor loading impacts both the particle size and the crystal phase. The study demonstrates the potential of the FSRS method for producing tailored nanoscale TiO2 particles for a variety of applications. 相似文献
