Highly substituted poly(2,3‐diphenyl‐1,4‐phenylenevinylene) derivatives having bulky phenyl and fluorenyl pendant groups: Synthesis,characterization, and electro‐optical properties

Two series of poly(2,3‐diphenyl‐1,4‐phenylenevinylene) (DP‐PPV) derivatives containing multiple bulky substituents were synthesized. In the first series, two different groups were incorporated on C‐5,6 positions of the phenylene moiety to increase steric hindrance and to obtain blue‐shifted emissions. In the second series, bulky fluorenyl groups with two hexyl chains on the C‐9 position were introduced on two phenyl pendants to increase the solubility as well as steric hindrance to prevent close packing of the main chain. Polymers with high molecular weights and fine‐tuned electro‐optical properties were obtained by controlling the feed ratio of different monomers during polymerization. The maximum photoluminescent emissions of the thin films are located between 384 and 541 nm. Cyclic voltammetric analysis reveals that the band gaps of these light‐emitting materials are in the range from 2.4 to 3.3 eV. A double‐layer EL device with the configuration of ITO/PEDOT/P4/Ca/Al emitted pure green light with CIE′1931 at (0.24, 0.5). Using copolymer P6 as the emissive layer, the maximum luminescence and current efficiency were both improved when compared with the homopolymer P4. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Simulation of Patterns and Qualitative Analysis of Pattern Rotation in an End-Pumped Nd：YVO4 Laser

We simulate some laser output patterns observed in our previous experiment employing superposition of Laguerre- Gaussian modes. The rotating pattern is qualitatively analysed from the point of contemporary spatial burning hole effect of the lasing crystal.     

绕圆柱体自由表面磁流体流动和传热的研究

本文对在不同雷诺数下,绕圆柱体的磁流体自由表面流动及传热进行了模拟,分析了磁场对绕流圆柱尾迹和涡分离的影响,获得了两种雷诺数下的电磁力密度、流场和温度场分布。结果表明,磁场不仅影响了流动的形态,而且对湍流有抑制作用,降低了自由表面的更新机制,从而减少了传热能力;在相同的Hartmann数下,相比低雷诺数下的流动换热情况,高雷诺数下的湍流不能被完全抑制,自由表面与尾迹的相互作用也较强,因而自由表面换热也较强。

本文将文献[1-5]的用激光测量表面粗糙度的“核-环比”法推广到采用其他非相干光源,给出测量原理的定量公式及测量装置的结构框图。     

THE RING OPENING REACTION OF AN EPOXY COMPOUND ON THE TOP OF CHEMISORBED CYSTAMINE STUDIED BY THE SERS TECHNIQUE

Metal foils for Raman scattering were prepared by HNO_3 etching method. These foils werefound to exhibit a strong SERS effect and excellent thermal stability. SERS spectra of cystaminehave been taken to illustrate the usefulness of this sample preparation method in the studies ofchemisorption. The ring opening reactions of an epoxy compound have been observed on the topof chemisorbed cystamine on silver foils.     

液晶研究（Ⅰ）──4＇－酰基－4－羟基－1，1＇－联苯酯类液晶的合成与性质

以４＇－羟基联苯为原料合成了８种新型４＇－酰基－４－羟基联苯酯类化合物．除化合物５＿ｈ外，均为新的近晶相液晶化合物．它们具有较宽的相变温度范围和较高的热稳定性．用偏光显微镜和差热分析仪研究了它们的相行为，讨论了分子结构对液晶相行为的影响．

过渡金属钼钒砷杂多化合物的合成与TPR,TPD研究

Seven transition metal molybdovanadoarsenic heteropoly compounds have been synthesized and characterized using IR, UV, TG-DTA, pH potential titration techniques. The molecular formulae of these compounds are pro-posed to be H_xM_yAsMO₁₀V₂O₄₀·zH₂O(x=1～3, y=1,2, M=Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn).They are all keggin structure. Surface nature of these compounds have been investigated by temperature programmed desorption and temperature programmed reduction techniques. NH₃-TPD results show that in TPD profiles of the compounds there are two desorption peaks corresponding to weak acid sites of desorption, respectively. Desorbing activativon energy and preexponential factor of weak acid site of desorption for compounds have been calculated. H₂-TPR re-sults show that introducting transtion metal to molybdovanarsenic acid, the reduction peak temperatures of H₂-TPR shift regularly with increasing d electron numbers of transition metals. In addition, Zn and Cu heteropoly com-pounds have yet apparent effect of hydrogen spill over.
