Properties relating to porosity of solids (fractal dimensions, surface roughness parameters) were evaluated from atomic force
microscopy (AFM) and nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms measured at 77 K for selected high-temperature [(RE) Ba2Cu3O7−x, RE=Y, Sm] superconductors. Adsorption capacity, specific surface area, fractal dimensions were determined from adsorption-desorption
isotherms. The adsorption isotherms of all samples were S-shaped and belong to type II according to the IUPAC classification.
A linear relationship was demonstrated between the fractal coefficients calculated by using the two methods and values of

This article describes work on the development of a highly accurate RNAA method for determination of selenium in biological
samples. The analytical post-irradiation procedure is based on a combination of cation-exchange and extraction chromatography
with final selective and quantitative fixation of selenium on a column packed with 3,3′-diaminobenzidine (DAB) supported on
Amberlite XAD4, followed by gamma-ray spectrometric measurement. The suitability and accuracy of the method was demonstrated
by analysing CRMs with certified selenium content. The uncertainty budget for Se determination in standard reference material
Peach Leaves NBS 1547 was estimated; the combined standard uncertainty was calculated as 1.7%. The described method fulfils
all the criteria for definitive methods. It was subsequently used for determination of selenium in biological materials intended

The study demonstrates an application of the front-face fluorescence spectroscopy combined with multivariate regression methods to the analysis of fluorescent beer components. Partial least-squares regressions (PLS1, PLS2, and N-way PLS) were utilized to develop calibration models between synchronous fluorescence spectra and excitation-emission matrices of beers, on one hand, and analytical concentrations of riboflavin and aromatic amino acids, on the other hand. The best results were obtained in the analysis of excitation-emission matrices using the N-way PLS2 method. The respective correlation coefficients, and the values of the root mean-square error of cross-validation (RMSECV), expressed as percentages of the respective mean analytic concentrations, were: 0.963 and 14% for riboflavin, 0.974 and 4% for tryptophan, 0.980 and 4% for tyrosine, and 0.982 and 19% for phenylalanine. 相似文献

The water-soluble RhI compound [Rh(Tpms)(CO)(PTA)] (1) (Tpms = O3SC(pz)3−, PTA = 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane) has been easily prepared in high yield by a single-pot reaction of [{Rh(CO)2(μ-Cl)}2] with PTA and the tris(1-pyrazolyl)methanesulfonate lithium salt Li(Tpms), in a CH2Cl2/MeOH solution at room temperature. This synthetic strategy can be easily applied to the preparation of general [Rh(Tpms)(CO)(L)] (L = phosphine) complexes and constitutes a substantial improvement over the previously described procedures. Compound 1 is air stable in the solid state and water-soluble, affording stable solutions under an inert atmosphere. It has been characterized by IR, 1H, 31P{1H} and 13C{1H} NMR spectroscopies, elemental and single crystal X-ray diffraction structural analyses. The solid state structure of 1 has a square-planar geometry with the Tpms ligand coordinating the metal centre in a (κ2: N,N) bipodal mode. The title compound has also been investigated by cyclic voltammetry in CH3CN, and values of the EL Lever and PL Pickett electrochemical parameters (which measure the ligand net electron-donor character) are proposed for the PTA ligand.
