An optimal feedback mapping, leading to necessary and sufficient conditions for optimality in terms of a closed-loop differential inclusion, is derived in the setting of fully convex generalized problems of Bolza. Results are translated to the format of control problems with linear dynamics and convex costs. Properties of the feedback mapping, with focus on single-valuedness and continuity, are analyzed through those of the value function and of the Hamiltonian. Conditions guaranteeing differentiability of the value function are obtained through the analysis of its subdifferential as a maximal monotone operator and of the generalized Hamiltonian dynamics.  相似文献

Kinetic studies are reported for the light scattering and elasticity of thermally reversible gels of cellulose acetate in benzyl alcohol over a range of temperature and polymer concentration. The small-angle light scattering data are found to be described by exponential correlation functions, and it is concluded that the scattering has its origin in the nonrandom character of the crosslinking in the gels studied. The elasticity is discussed in terms of the density of crosslinks in the gels. Thus, the kinetics studied by light scattering and elasticity measurements are independently related to temperature and polymer concentration.  相似文献

A sensitive and simple liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry method was developed to determine the immunosuppressant tacrolimus in human skin samples after treatment with the commercially available ointment. Utilizing diffusion cell experiments according to Franz, human skin samples were treated with ointment containing tacrolimus and the extraction procedure of the drug was optimized. The analytical assay was performed using an LC system consisting of a reversed phase C18 column and an isocratic mobile phase, coupled with electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. The detection was performed in the positive selected ion monitoring mode. Mycophenolate mofetil was used as internal standard to control the stability of the electrospray ionization. The calibration curve was linear for tacrolimus over the range of 5–1,000 ng mL?1 (average correlation coefficient of r 2 = 0.9941) with a limit of detection (LOD) of 2 ng mL?1, with a limit of quantification (LOQ) of 5 ng mL?1 and with a precision of 8.70%. The analytical assay described in this paper was successfully applied in order to quantify tacrolimus in human skin samples as well as in the commercially available ointment.  相似文献

Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and electroencephalography (EEG) represent brain activity in terms of a reliable anatomical localization and a detailed temporal evolution of neural signals. Simultaneous EEG-fMRI recordings offer the possibility to greatly enrich the significance and the interpretation of the single modality results because the same neural processes are observed from the same brain at the same time. Nonetheless, the different physical nature of the measured signals by the two techniques renders the coupling not always straightforward, especially in cognitive experiments where spatially localized and distributed effects coexist and evolve temporally at different temporal scales.  相似文献

The global fit of the Standard Model to electroweak precision data, routinely performed by the LEP electroweak working group and others, demonstrated impressively the predictive power of electroweak unification and quantum loop corrections. We have revisited this fit in view of (i) the development of the new generic fitting package, Gfitter, allowing for flexible and efficient model testing in high-energy physics, (ii) the insertion of constraints from direct Higgs searches at LEP and the Tevatron, and (iii) a more thorough statistical interpretation of the results. Gfitter is a modular fitting toolkit, which features predictive theoretical models as independent plug-ins, and a statistical analysis of the fit results using toy Monte Carlo techniques. The state-of-the-art electroweak Standard Model is fully implemented, as well as generic extensions to it. Theoretical uncertainties are explicitly included in the fit through scale parameters varying within given error ranges. This paper introduces the Gfitter project, and presents state-of-the-art results for the global electroweak fit in the Standard Model (SM), and for a model with an extended Higgs sector (2HDM). Numerical and graphical results for fits with and without including the constraints from the direct Higgs searches at LEP and Tevatron are given. Perspectives for future colliders are analysed and discussed. In the SM fit including the direct Higgs searches, we find M H =116.4−1.3+18.3 GeV, and the 2σ and 3σ allowed regions [114,145] GeV and [[113,168] and [180,225]] GeV, respectively. For the strong coupling strength at fourth perturbative order we obtain α S (M Z 2)=0.1193−0.0027+0.0028(exp )±0.0001 (theo). Finally, for the mass of the top quark, excluding the direct measurements, we find m t =178.2−4.2+9.8 GeV. In the 2HDM we exclude a charged-Higgs mass below 240 GeV at 95% confidence level. This limit increases towards larger tan β, e.g., is excluded for tan β=70.  相似文献

Light scattering from concentrated solutions of cellulose acetate in acetone is discussed in terms of exponential correlation functions for refractive-index fluctuations. These are related to intermolecular aggregation. Light scattering, tensile creep and recovery, and hyperfiltration studies with films of cellulose acetate cast from acetone are discussed in terms of the state of aggregation in the films. It is concluded that intermolecular aggregates are probably small and imperfectly formed regions of microcrystallinity stable up to about 210°C, with the overall state one of near amorphous disorder.  相似文献
