Photolysis into the longest wavelength absorption band of 2-tert-butyl-2,3-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-3-yl hydrazine (Hy) substituted naphthalenes causes aryl group reduction electron transfer to give (+)Hy-Ar(-). Electrooptical absorption measurements characterize the charge separation properties from these bands. Emission studies demonstrate that the separation between absorption and emission maxima for symmetrically disubstituted compounds is smaller than that for monosubstituted compounds, which is attributed to excited-state intervalence. The excited-state diabatic surfaces may be described as a Hy(+)-NA(- )-Hy(0), Hy(0)-NA(-)-Hy(+) pair, for which electronic interaction produces a double minimum that qualitatively resembles that in the ground state of the disubstituted intervalence radical cations.  相似文献

In addition to chromosomal DNA carrying the genetic information of the cell, many bacterial cells contain smaller circular DNA factors known as plasmids or episomes. These genetic elements endow the cell with additional biochemical capabilities. The fertility factors (F and F′), the antibiotic resistance factors (R), the colicinogenic factors (Col), the hemolytic factors (Hly), and other extrachromosomal DNA systems are described. These small DNA molecules can be isolated, and are therefore particularly suitable for the investigation of DNA replication and the stable establishment of genetic material in the bacterial cell.  相似文献

A method for multiresidue pesticide analysis in food is described. After a conventional clean-up, gas chromatographic analysis is performed in a gas chromatograph equipped with two fused-silica capillary columns coated with methylsilicone SP 2100 and methylphenylsilicone OV-17. The effluent from each column is split to electron-capture and nitrogen-phosphorus detectors, which are connected to a dual channel integrator. Therefore, from each gas chromatographic run parallel records of signals from the two detectors are obtained. Calibration of the system is carried out for the SP 2100 column with three test mixtures covering all pesticides. Additionally, four internal standards are included, two responding to the electron-capture detector and the other two to the nitrogen-phosphorus detector. Automated analysis is performed with test mixtures and food samples on the SP 2100 column overnight as a screening procedure. After selection of positive samples a confirmatory test and quantitation are carried out manually applying appropriate test mixtures according to the results of the screening runs.  相似文献

In combination with cognitive tasks entailing sequences of sensory and cognitive processes, event-related acquisition schemes allow using functional MRI to examine not only the topography but also the temporal sequence of cortical activation across brain regions (time-resolved fMRI). In this study, we compared two data-driven methods--fuzzy clustering method (FCM) and independent component analysis (ICA)--in the context of time-resolved fMRI data collected during the performance of a newly devised visual imagery task. We analyzed a multisubject fMRI data set using both methods and compared their results in terms of within- and between-subject consistency and spatial and temporal correspondence of obtained maps and time courses. Both FCM and spatial ICA allowed discriminating the contribution of distinct networks of brain regions to the main cognitive stages of the task (auditory perception, mental imagery and behavioural response), with good agreement across methods. Whereas ICA worked optimally on the original time series, averaging with respect to the task onset (and thus introducing some a priori information on the stimulation protocol) was found to be indispensable in the case of FCM. On averaged time series, FCM led to a richer decomposition of the spatio-temporal patterns of activation and allowed a finer separation of the neurocognitive processes subserving the mental imagery task. This study confirms the efficacy of the two examined methods in the data-driven estimation of hemodynamic responses in time-resolved fMRI studies and provides empirical guidelines to their use.  相似文献

Redox-active N-(fluoromethoxy)benzotriazoles were made accessible from fluoroacetic acid and hydroxybenzotriazoles via electrodecarboxylative coupling. After alkylation, they become effective monofluoromethoxylation reagents, enabling the photocatalytic C−H functionalization of arenes. Thus, irradiation of 1-(OCH2F)-3-Me-6-(CF3)benzotriazolium triflate with blue LED light in the presence of [Ru(bpy)3(PF6)2] promotes the synthesis of diversely functionalized aryl monofluoromethyl ethers. This method allows the late-stage functionalization of biologically relevant structures without relying on ecologically problematic halofluorocarbons.  相似文献
