A solid phase extraction method based on graphene oxide (GO) modified with magnesium oxide (MgO) nanoparticles was developed for the preconcentration and determination of trace amounts of cadmium, copper and nickel ions. The adsorbed analytes were eluted by 4.0 mL of 0.1 M (EDTA) and injected to flame atomic absorption spectrometer. The factors influencing the complex formation and extraction of these heavy metals were optimized. Studies on potential interference by various anions and cations showed the method to be highly selective. The preconcentration factor was about 11 with relative standard deviation of <4.0 for 8 replication determination. The detection limits for the Cd, Cu, Ni were found to be 0.5, 3.4 and 25 µg L?1, respectively. The method was successfully applied for the determination of cadmium, copper and nickel in tap water, well water, sea water, rice and macaroni samples with spike recoveries ranging 93–105 %. 相似文献

A synthetic procedure has been developed for the preparation of1,4-diaza-2,3;8,9-dibenzo-7,10-dioxacyclododecane-5,12-dione. A carbon paste electrode based on the new macrocyclic diamide was constructed for Ca2+determination. The calibration graph was linear over a wide concentration range (1.3 × 10-6–3.2 × 10-3 M) with a near Nernstianslope of 32 mV decade-1. The limit of detection is 7.9 × 10-7 M (0.032 ppm).Selectivity coefficients were tabulated and the working pH range was determined. It has a fast response time of <10 s and can be used for at least 3 months without any considerable divergence in potentials. Determination of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) in wheat has been accomplished by enhanced spectrofluorimetry in combination with second-order standard addition method (EF-SOSAM). The adopted strategy combined the use of parallel factor analysis (PARAFAC) for extraction of the pure analyte signal and the standard addition method, for a determination in the presence of matrix effect caused by wheat matrix. The method is based on the enhanced fluorescence of AFB1 by beta-cyclodextrin in 10% (w/w) methanol-water solution. After sample treatment and without any extended cleanup steps and derivatization process, four standard additions were performed for each sample. A specific PARAFAC model was built from three-way arrays formed by excitation-emission spectra and 5 measurements (sample plus 4 additions). The scores related to AFB1 were used for a linear regression in the standard addition method. Two naturally contaminated wheat and spiked wheat samples containing AFB1 in the range 0-18 microg kg(-1) were analyzed by EF-SOSAM and compared with HPLC results. EF-SOSAM analysis of spiked wheat samples gave a good correlation with spiked values (R(2)>0.990). The limit of detection of method was 0.9 microg kg(-1) for the determination of AFB1 in wheat samples. 相似文献

In this paper, the occurrence of various types of bifurcation including symmetry breaking, period-doubling (flip) and secondary Hopf (Neimark) bifurcations in milling process with tool-wear and process damping effects are investigated. An extended dynamic model of the milling process with tool flank wear, process damping and nonlinearities in regenerative chatter terms is presented. Closed form expressions for the nonlinear cutting forces are derived through their Fourier series components. Non-autonomous parametrically excited equations of the system with time delay terms are developed. The multiple-scale approach is used to construct analytical approximate solutions under primary resonance. Periodic, quasi-periodic and chaotic behavior of the limit cycles is predicted in the presence of regenerative chatter. Detuning parameter (deviation of the tooth passing frequency from the chatter frequency), damping ratio (affected by process damping) and tool-wear width are the bifurcation parameters. Multiple period-doubling and Hopf bifurcations occur when the detuning parameter is varied. As the damping ratio changes, symmetry breaking bifurcation is observed whereas the variation of tool wear width causes both symmetry breaking and Hopf bifurcations. Also, under special damping specifications, chaotic behavior is seen following the Hopf bifurcation. 相似文献
