We have used electronic absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy to study binding between a platinum(II) dimethylsulfoxide
complex (cis-[Pt(DMSO)2Cl2]) and human serum albumin (HSA), and the effect of complexation on the structure of the protein. We have calculated the binding
parameters for binding between cis-[Pt(DMSO)2Cl2] and HSA. We have determined the binding constant KB = (1.2 ± 0.1)·103 M−1 and the Hill coefficient h = 1.03 ± 0.1. We have determined that binding between cis-[Pt(DMSO)2Cl2] and the protein leads to a change in the internal packing of the macromolecule.

The isospin symmetry breaking effects in the charged kaons decays to two or three pions are considered. In semileptonic decay K ± → π + π ?e± ν (called K e4) these effects turn out to be crucial for correct extraction of ππ scattering lengths. Taking in account electromagnetic interaction between the pions in the final state and isospin symmetry breaking due to different masses of charged and neutral pions allows to adjust the values of scattering lengths obtained from experimental data on K e4 decay and predictions of Chiral Perturbation Theory (ChPT). Final state interactions of pions in the decay K ± → π ± π 0 π 0 leading to the anomaly (cusp) in the π 0 π 0 invariant mass distribution in the vicinity of charged pions’ threshold are discussed and recent results of accounting of the electromagnetic interaction among charged pions leading to π + π ? bound states (pioniumatom) just under the charged pions’ threshold are presented. 相似文献

Infrared (IR) absorption and luminescence in chemically and radiation-modified natural Armenian Zeolite (clinoptilolite) samples
have been studied. The luminescence was studied in 390–450 nm and 620–710 nm wavelength bands, and the IR measurements were
carried out in the 400–5400 cm−1 range. It is shown that the luminescence intensity depends on the content of pure clinoptilolite in the samples and, probably
on the distribution of “passive” luminescence centers over Si and Al sites that became “active” under radiation or chemical
treatment. The samples of electron irradiated clinoptilolite have higher luminescence intensity than the chemically and thermally
treated ones. A decrease in the intensity of IR absorption bands at 3550 cm−1 and 3650 cm−1 was found after irradiation. 相似文献

An analytical expression is written for the effective interaction potential of a fast charged particle with ionic crystals
of the CsCl type as a function of the temperature of the medium, taking long-range order into account. A numerical analysis
shows that there is a real possibility of axial superchanneling of positrons along the 〈100〉 axis of negatively charged ions
in crystals with this structure. The wave function and energy spectrum of the localized state are investigated, and the possibility
of the formation of metastable, two-dimensional, relativistic positron systems is analyzed.
