The enantioselective synthesis of a novel-type C(3)-symmetric tripodal ligand that is composed of a central mesitylene-derived core and three functionalized, axially chiral biaryl subunits is described. The triol (M,M,M)-3 is a suitable catalyst for the enantioselective addition of dialkylzinc to various aromatic aldehydes with asymmetric inductions of up to 98% ee.  相似文献

Cyclic bisbibenzyls, like isoplagiochins C (1) and D (2), are stereochemically intriguing molecules: Although not equipped with any of the traditional stereogenic elements that render molecules conformationally stable per se, they are sometimes isolated in an optically active form and are thus chiral at room temperature. The paper describes quantum chemical calculations, in particular investigations of the conformational space and molecular dynamics simulations, showing that the helicity is a property of the entire molecule, whose ring strain makes the molecule configurationally stable overall, with (formally) three stereogenic elements (two biaryl axes and one helical stilbene unit). Only one of the biaryl axes (the 'upper' one, joining C-12' and C-14) has a stable configuration, leading to a population of four interconverting diastereomers, yet without racemization at room temperature. On the basis of these conformational and dynamic calculations, the circular dichroism spectrum of isoplagiochin C (1) was calculated, leading to the first assignment of the absolute configuration of a cyclic bisbibenzyl. Accordingly, 1 has the P-configuration at the stereochemically stable biaryl axis and constitutes a mixture of diastereomers with respect to the other biaryl axis and the helical stilbene unit. From the temperature dependence of the racemization rates, an enantiomerization barrier of 101.6 kJ/mol was determined. Likewise, for the first time for cyclic bisbibenzyls, the enantiomeric ratio of this natural product was determined, by chromatography on a chiral phase with CD-coupling. Accordingly, 1 from Plagiochila deflexa is not enantiomerically pure, but occurs in a 85:15 ratio in favor of the enantiomer that has the P-configuration at the stereochemically stable axis.  相似文献

Summary Some esters of isocamphenilanic acid (4) have been prepared and tested for their fungicidal and insecticidal activity. Esters of various acids with isocamphanyl ethylalcohol (5) have also been synthesized and included in the fungicidal/acaricidal/insecticidal screening programme. All esters bear a geminal dimethyl group at C-3 of the bicyclus which is important because of its shielding effect.

The axial channeling behaviour of boron implants in <100>, <110> and <111> silicon wafers is investigated by SIMS. Large differences of channeling characteristics such as channeled projected range (the projected range of channeled ions or channeling peak) and the fraction of channeled to implanted ions are observed among the three major crystal orientations. Within the critical angle, the channeling behaviour is very sensitive to the incidence beam angle with respect to crystal orientations. SIMS measurements are performed at different positions along several critical directions over a whole wafer. Well channeled profiles with an incidence beam angle to crystal orientations of 0 ° are obtained for each ion implantation energy and orientation. The results are used to test various models of ion implantation by simulation. A 3-parameter model for electronic stopping power of boron in silicon was proposed.  相似文献

The title compound (systematic name: 4,10‐di­nitro‐2,6,8,12‐tetraoxa‐4,10‐di­aza­tetra­cyclo­[5.5.0.03,11.05,9]­do­decane), C6H6N4O8, exhibits the highest density among known N‐nitramines, due to its close‐packed crystal structure. It may be regarded as consisting of a distorted hexagonal close‐packed lattice formed by the isowurtzitane cages, with the nitro groups occupying the free space between the cages.  相似文献

Using a specific force field model, relative stabilities of 2,2-bipyrrole and 2,2-furylpyrrole conformers as well as of prodigiosene tautomers, configurations, and conformations, are studied. 2,2-Bipyrrole adopts anantiperiplanar conformation in accord with other theoretical calculations and experimental findings. Its rotational barrier calculated by this method compares favourably to the one derived by other means. For the parent prodigiosene the (Z)sp,sp arrangement is found to be the most stable one. The two possible tautomers within its dipyrrin fragment do not show a significant energy difference.

The synthesis of some new potentially, nitrogenefree spasmolytics is described. Formally the benzene nucleus in some mandelic acid esters, known by their mild spasmolytic activity, is substituted for the isocamphane bicyclus by a) SeO2 oxidation of 1-(3,3-Dimethyl-2-exo-norbornyl)-ethanone (5) to the corresponding ketoaldehyde6, b) oxidation of6 to the isocamphane analogous mandelic acid4 and c) esterification of derivatives of4 with isoamylalcohol and benzylalcohol. Attemps to dehydrate the methylester7 to camphenylideneacetic acid methylester (12) by various methods failed, probably because of the ring strain.
