When 4-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl piperidinoxyl (HTMPO) is processed in polypropylene in a closed mixer, almost 50% is converted to other products during the first few minutes whilst the applied torque in the mixer is high. There is associated formation of unsaturation and this fact, in conjunction with the almost complete regeneration of nitroxyl within five minutes, suggests that the corresponding hydroxylamine (HTMPOH), which can be qualitatively identified, is the major transformation product. A study of the UV stability of PP films fabricated from polymer processed for varying times shows that UV stability is related to the quantity of the redox couple (HTMPO + HTMPOH) remaining in the polymer. This is considerably reduced by severe processing. The redox capable has almost no thermal antioxidant (oven aging) activity.  相似文献

Summary The solution conformations of 1,4-diaryl-tetrahydro-1H,3H-furo[3,4-c]furans were determined by means of the LIS technique using a modified LIS-simulation program specially designed for the requirements of the aromatic 1,2,3-trimethoxy arrangement as a bidentate coordination site for the NMR shift reagent. The resulting geometries were confirmed by force field calculations (MM2-87) and compared with X-ray derived structures. Reliable data for the conformations in solution allowed a quantitative estimation of the circular dichroism based on the coupled oscillator model.
Lanthanideninduzierte Verschiebungen von aromatischen 1,2,3-Trimethoxy-Verbindungen: Konformationsanalyse von Tetrahydrofurofuran-Lignanen in Lösung
Zusammenfassung Es wurden mittels der LIS-Technik die Konformationen von 1,4-Diaryl-tetrahydro-1H,3H-furo[3,4-c]furanen in Lösung bestimmt. Dazu mußte ein modifiziertes LIS-Simulationsprogramm entworfen werden, das auf die besonderen Verhältnisse der aromatischen 1,2,3-Trimethoxy-Gruppierung eingeht, welche in den untersuchten Verbindungen als zweizähnige Koordinationsstelle für das NMR-Verschiebungsreagens fungiert. Die resultierenden Geometrien wurden mittels Kraftfeldrechnungen (MM2-87) überprüft und soweit vorhanden auch mit Röntgenstrukturdaten verglichen. Für die Lösungskonformationen wurde eine quantitative Abschätzung des Circulardichroismus auf der Basis des Modells für gekoppelte Oszillatoren durchgeführt.

Summary The crystal structure of the hydrothermally synthesized compound Fe(SeO2OH) (SeO4) · H2O was determined by single crystal diffraction methods:a=8.355(2) Å,b=8.696(2) Å,c=9.255(2) Å, =93.72(1)°,V=670.95 Å3;Z=4, space group P21/c,R=0.029,R w=0.027 for 2430 independent reflections (sin /0.76 Å–1). Isolated FeO5(H2O)-octahedra share five corners with [SeO2OH] and [SeO4] groups to form sheets parallel to (100). These sheets are interconnected via hydrogen bonds only.

Isolierte FeO5(H2O)-Oktaeder teilen fünf Ecken mit [SeO2OH]- und [SeO4]-Gruppen, wobei sie Schichten parallel (100) bilden. Diese Schichten sind nur über Wasserstoffbrücken miteinander verbunden.

Nitrile rubbers containing three thiol antioxidants ((I) to (III)) in bound form have been evaluated as masterbatch concentrates by dilution in unstabilised nitrile rubber both at the latex stage and in the polymer melt. Both procedures give effective substantive systems in the case of the hindered phenol (I) and the aromatic thiol amide (II). Both show a high level of antioxidant retention under very severe technological conditions (oil/air oven cyclical test at 150°C). Antioxidant (III), which has only a minor structural difference from (II), is very much less effective as a substantive antioxidant.  相似文献

At elevated temperature, the resulting heterobicyclo[2.2.2]octane derived product 7 undergoes ring opening and equilibrates with the cyclotetramer (7)4 . In the large macrocyclic structure, four monomeric six-membered cyclo-FLP units are connected by four CO2 molecules to form the supramolecular ring system. Topological indices (TIs) have been used to study structure-activity relationships (SAR) with respect to the physical, chemical, and biological properties of congeneric sets of molecules. Since there are many TIs and many are correlated, it is important that we identify redundancies and extract useful information from TIs into a smaller number of parameters. Moreover, it is important to determine if TIs, or parameters derived from TIs, can be used for global SAR models of diverse sets of chemicals. We calculated seventy-one TIs for three groups of molecules of increasing complexity and diversity: (a) 74 alkanes, (b) 29 alkylbenzenes, and (c) 37 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Principal components analysis (PCA) revealed that a few principal components (PCs) could extract most of the information encoded by the seventy-one TIs. The structural basis of the first few PCs could be derived from their pattern of correlation with individual TIs. For the three sets of molecules, viz. alkanes, alkylbenzenes and PAHs, PCs were able to predict the boiling points reasonably well. Also, for the combined set of 140 chemicals consisting of the alkanes, alkylbenzenes and PAHs, the derived PCs were not as effective in predicting properties as in the case of individual classes of compounds.  相似文献
