The first psico-oxetanocin analogue of the powerful antiviral natural product, oxetanocin A, has been readily synthesized from cis-2-butene-1,4-diol. Key 2-methyleneoxetane precursors were derived from β-lactones prepared by the carbonylation of epoxides. F(+)-mediated nucleobase incorporation provided the corresponding nucleosides in good yield but with low diastereoselectivity. Surprisingly, attempted exploitation of anchimeric assistance to increase the selectivity was not fruitful. A range of 2-methyleneoxetane and related 2-methylenetetrahydrofuran substrates was prepared to explore the basis for this. With one exception, these substrates also showed little stereoselectivity in nucleobase incorporation. Computational studies were undertaken to examine if neighboring group participation involving fused [4.2.0] or [4.3.0] intermediates is favorable.  相似文献

Long-lived coherences (LLCs) in homonuclear pairs of chemically inequivalent spins can be excited and sustained during protracted radio frequency irradiation periods that alternate with brief windows for signal observation. Fourier transformation of the sustained induction decays recorded in a single scan yields NMR spectra with line-widths in the range 10 < Δν < 100 mHz, even in moderately inhomogeneous magnetic fields. The resulting doublets, which are reminiscent of J-spectra, allow one to determine the sum of scalar and residual dipolar interactions in partly oriented media. The signal intensity can be boosted by several orders of magnitude by "dissolution" dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP).  相似文献

Periodic mesoporous hydridosilica, PMHS, is shown for the first time to function as both a host and a mild reducing agent toward noble metal ions. In this archetypical study, PMHS microspheres react with aqueous Ag(I) solutions to form Ag(0) nanoparticles housed in different pore locations of the mesostructure. The dominant reductive nucleation and growth process involves SiH groups located within the pore walls and yields molecular scale Ag(0) nanoclusters trapped and stabilized in the pore walls of the PMHS microspheres that emit orange-red photoluminescence. Lesser processes initiated with pore surface SiH groups produce some larger spherical and worm-shaped Ag(0) nanoparticles within the pore voids and on the outer surfaces of the PMHS microspheres. The intrinsic reducing power demonstrated in this work for the pore walls of PMHS speaks well for a new genre of chemistry that benefits from the mesoscopic confinement of Si-H groups.  相似文献

Eu(III)-doped Y(2)O(3) nanocrystals are prepared by microwave synthetic methods as spherical 6.4 ± 1.5 nm nanocrystals with a cubic crystal structure. The surface of the nanocrystal is passivated by acetylacetonate (acac) and HDA on the Y exposed facet of the nanocrystal. The presence of acac on the nanocrystal surface gives rise to a strong S(0) → S(1) (π → π*, acac) and acac → Ln(3+) ligand to metal charge transfer (LMCT) transitions at 270 and 370 nm, respectively, in the Eu:Y(2)O(3) nanocrystal. Excitation into the S(0) → S(1) (π → π*) or acac → Ln(3+) LMCT transition leads to the production of white light emission arising from efficient intramolecular energy transfer to the Y(2)O(3) oxygen vacancies and the Eu(III) Judd-Ofelt f-f transitions. The acac passivant is thermally stable below 400 °C, and its presence is evidenced by UV-vis absorption, FT-IR, and NMR measurements. The presence of the low-lying acac levels allows UV LED pumping of the solid phosphor, leading to high quantum efficiency (~19%) when pumped at 370 nm, high-quality white light color rendering (CIE coordinates 0.33 and 0.35), a high scotopic-to-photopic ratio (S/P = 2.21), and thermal stability. In a LED lighting package luminosities of 100 lm W(-1) were obtained, which are competitive with current commercial lighting technology. The use of the passivant to funnel energy to the lanthanide emitter via a molecular antenna effect represents a new paradigm for designing phosphors for LED-pumped white light.  相似文献

The major constituents of leaf extracts of Iris fulva KER GAWL. comprised a known flavone C-glycoside, 5,4'-dihydroxy-7-methoxyflavone-6-C-(6?-O-(E)-p-coumaroyl-β-glucopyranosyl)(1?→2″)-β-glucopyranoside (1) and the new monoterpene glycoside, linalyl-6'-O-(3″-hydroxy-3″-methylglutaroyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside (2), both of which were prominent components of Iris brevicaulis RAF. leaf extracts. The structure of a new polyacylated sucrose derivative (3a) obtained from the rhizomes of I. fulva was elucidated as 3-O-(E)-p-coumaroyl-β-D-fructofuranosyl-(2?1')-[2″,4″,6″-tri-O-acetyl-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1″→3')-(2',6'-di-O-acetyl-4'-O-(E)-p-coumaroyl-α-D-glucopyranoside)]. Selective hydrolysis of the 4″-O-acetyl moiety of the terminal β-glucopyranosyl residue of 3a occurred after several hours in solution giving 3-O-(E)-p-coumaroyl-β-D-fructofuranosyl-(2?1')-[2″,6″-di-O-acetyl-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1″→3')-(2',6'-di-O-acetyl-4'-O-(E)-p-coumaroyl-α-D-glucopyranoside)] (3b), which subsequently underwent further deacetylation.  相似文献

We report measurements of spin-lattice relaxation of carbon-13 as a function of the magnetic field ('relaxometry') in view of optimizing dissolution-DNP. The sample is temporarily lifted into the stray field above a high-resolution magnet using a simple and inexpensive 'shuttle'. The signals of arbitrary molecules can be observed at high field with high-resolution and sensitivity. During the dissolution process and subsequent 'voyage' from the polarizer to the NMR magnet, relaxation is accelerated by paramagnetic polarizing agents, but it can be quenched by using scavengers.  相似文献

We present a convenient post-fabrication technique to precisely tune the optical properties of polymer-based three-dimensional photonic crystals with sub-nanometer precision. Conventional air-plasma etching is utilized to modify the filling fraction of direct laser written polymer photonic crystals beyond the wavelength-imposed limits. Tuning of the optical properties is monitored in transmission and reflection spectroscopy. A simple model for the etching process is proposed and found to be in good agreement with the experimental observations.  相似文献
