The reaction of [60]fullerene with a variety of a secondary aliphatic amines in 20% v/v dimethyl sulfoxide in chlorobenzene under an atmospheric pressure of molecular oxygen allows regioselective introduction of four amino groups and one epoxide group around one pentagon of the fullerene molecule in good to high yield. This new synthesis of tetraaminofullerene expoxide can be carried out with a simple procedure on a multigram scale at room temperature and affords a variety of functionalized fullerene derivatives. Near-infrared analysis of a mixture of [60]fullerene and piperidine in a deaerated dimethyl sulfoxide/chlorobenzene mixture indicated equilibrium formation of [60]fullerene radical anion (C60*-) that persists at least for 2 weeks at room temperature but reacts immediately with molecular oxygen to give the tetraaminofullerene expoxide. The Benesi-Hildebrand analysis of the concentration dependency of the near-infrared absorption indicated that a [C60*- piperidine*+] radical ion pair is formed with an equivalent constant of K = 0.62 +/- 0.02 M(-1) at 25 degrees C. This and other lines of evidence suggest that the oxygenative amination reaction involves C60-mediated reduction of molecular oxygen by the amine.  相似文献

The decomposition of methanol on the Ni(111) surface has been studied with the pseudopotential method of density functional theory-generalized gradient approximation (DFT-GGA) and with the repeated slab models. The adsorption energies of possible species and the activation energy barriers of the possible elementary reactions involved are obtained in the present work. The major reaction path on Ni surfaces involves the O-H bond breaking in CH(3)OH and the further decomposition of the resulting methoxy species to CO and H via stepwise hydrogen abstractions from CH(3)O. The abstraction of hydrogen from methoxy itself is the rate-limiting step. We also confirm that the C-O and C-H bond-breaking paths, which lead to the formation of surface methyl and hydroxyl and hydroxymethyl and atom hydrogen, respectively, have higher energy barriers. Therefore, the final products are the adsorbed CO and H atom.  相似文献

The Pictet-Spengler cyclization of the imines (3) prepared by the condensation of L-tryptophan methyl ester (1) and aryl methyl ketones (2), using titanium(IV) isopropoxide as an iminating reagent, quantitatively proceeded, when treated with trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) or formic acid, to provide two diastereomers, that is (1S,3S)-1-aryl-3-isopropoxycarbonyl-1-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-beta-carbolines (4) and their (1R,3S)-diastereomers (5), of which the diastereomer ratios varied from 1 to 5 depending on the reaction conditions. The (1R,3S)-diastereomers (5) are thermodynamically more stable than their (1S,3S)-congeners (4), as shown by equilibration experiments in TFA. The conversion of 4 to 5 (also 5 to 4) should occur under acidic conditions by cleavage of the C(1)-N(2) bond with complete retention of configuration at the C-3 chiral center. The low diastereo-selectivity observed in the Pictet-Spengler reaction of 1 and 2 is concluded to be a stereochemical outcome under conditions of kinetic control (lower temperature, shorter reaction time), while the high diastereo selectivity with preferential formation of the more stable isomer (5) is the result of thermodynamically controlled experiments (higher temperature, longer reaction time).  相似文献

Various carboxylic esters or amides were prepared in good to excellent yield between carboxylic acids and equimolar amounts of alcohols or amines under very mild conditions (0-45°C; within 3 h) using dimethylsulfamoyl chloride (Me2NSO2Cl; 1) combined with N,N-dimethylamines (Me2NR: 2a; R=Me, 2b; R=Bu). The choice of the sulfamoyl chloride and the amine is crucial for the reaction; that is, sterically uncrowded amines accelerated the present esterification and amidation. This agent had some advantages over methanesulfonyl chloride (3)/amines as for the atom-economy, avoidance of side reactions, and had very high chemoselectivity toward the carboxyl group vs the hydroxyl group; the experiment was performed by the addition of 1 to the mixture of carboxylic acids and alcohols. Application of this method to the synthesis of coumaperine, a chemopreventive natural product, was performed using the present amidation as a key step.  相似文献

Abstract— The title aminodioxetane prepared by photooxygenation of 2–(l-methyl-3-indolyl-3-phenyl-1,4-dioxene is fairly stable at ?46°C and gives on warming to room temperature an ultraviolet light at Λmax 320 nm, which corresponds to 377kJ/mol; the highest energy ever observed among the efficient chemiluminescent compounds. The efficiency of chemiluminescence and excited singlet molecule formation in n-hexane were 3.6% and at least 50%, respectively. Substitution and solvent effects suggest polar nature of the transition state as expected from the ‘CIEEL’ mechanism. In polar solvents, the dioxetane gives visible light (Λmax 400 nm in dichloromethane) as well as the UV light; the former being quenched by methanol. This is interpreted in terms of an intramolecular exciplex formation between the indole and phenyl groups. This is the first example of an intramolecular exciplex produced by the dioxetane decomposition.  相似文献

The formation of ground-state complexes of methylene blue (MB) and thionine (TN) with sodium hyaluronate (NaHA) was clearly observed by means of absorption spectra in aqueous solution. Irradiation of the complexes using 313 nm light caused significant degradation of NaHA under oxygen and argon. However, the use of visible light over 400 nm, which gives the lowest excited singlet state of the cationic dyes, caused no degradation. MB and TN were more efficient sensitizers for the degradation of NaHA than rose bengal (RB), although RB is a more efficient singlet oxygen (1O2) sensitizer than the cationic dyes. Under similar conditions the polysaccharides with carboxyl groups, such as alginic acid and polygalacturonic acid, also photodecomposed. However, the polysaccharides without carboxyl groups, such as pullulan and methyl cellulose, did not. The irradiation of the polysaccharides in the presence of powdered titanium dioxide as a photocatalyst to generate the hydroxyl radical (.OH) in aerated aqueous solution caused the fragmentation of all the polymers. It was confirmed that methyl viologen, an electron-accepting sensitizer, formed a charge-transfer complex with NaHA, the irradiation of which caused the efficient degradation of NaHA. In the presence of beta- and gamma-cyclodextrins the MB- and TN-sensitized photodegradation of NaHA was markedly suppressed. This was probably due to the formation of the inclusion complexes comprising the cationic dyes and the cyclodextrins. On the basis of the results obtained we propose that the cationic dye-sensitized degradation of NaHA involves a photoinduced electron-transfer process between the upper excited dyes and the ground-state NaHA and that .OH and 1O2 do not participate in the degradation.  相似文献
