A series of rare-earth-doped sodium titanates with the chemical formula R x H y Na4 − (x+y)TiO4·nH2O (where R = Ce3+, Nd3+ and Sm3+) were grown employing solid-state fusion reaction technique. The physico-chemical investigations indicated that the new materials were self engineered into large particles enough to be used in sorption process and having crystalline structures containing localized Na+ ions. Equilibrium studies revealed that an enhancement in sorption efficiency of sodium titanate after rare-earth doping. The neodymium-rich sodium titanate exhibited a better exchange affinity for Cs+ compared to the other studied series. Data on the kinetics of cesium exchange fit well to pseudo-second order and intra-particle diffusion models. In a separate experiment, it was reported that the R-HNaTi series showed responsible sorption affinity toward Ce, Nd and Sm ions in their solution mixture with insignificant selectivity trend which reflects the high stability of titanate matrices.  相似文献

A numerical method for solving the coupled Korteweg‐de Vries (CKdV) equation based on the collocation method with quintic B‐spline finite elements is set up to simulate the solution of CKdV equation. Invariants and error norms are studied wherever possible to determine the conservation properties of the algorithm. Simulation of single soliton, interaction of two solitons, and birth of solitons are presented. Abstract

Five thienylnicotinamidine derivatives 5a–e were prepared from their corresponding nicotinonitriles 3a–e on treatment with lithium trimethylsilylamide [LiN(TMS)2] followed by hydrolysis using ethanolic/HCl (gas). The nicotinonitriles 3a–e were prepared via Suzuki coupling reaction of bromothienyl derivative 1 with the appropriate phenylboronic acids 2a–e. The DFT calculation was used to optimize the geometric structure of the newly synthesized nicotinamidines. The comparison of DFT/B3LYP calculated spectral data (1H-NMR and 13C-NMR) with the experimental data showed acceptable agreement. Mass fragmentation patterns of 3,4-dimethoxyphenyl, 3,5-dimethoxyphenyl, and 3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl thienylnicotinamidine derivatives were investigated.  相似文献

Bimetallic Cu/Mg, Ca, Ba mixed oxide compounds acted as catalyst in the dehydrogenation of tetradecanol into tetradecanal, and were characterized by thermal gravimetric analysis, surface area, X-ray diffraction, temperature-programmed reduction and desorption of CO2. Alkaline earth oxides increased the total basic site concentration in the order of Mg>Ca>Ba. A correlation was found between the total basic site concentration and initial dehydrogenation rate. 以氨三乙酸HNTA2-为主要配体,缬氨酸(valine)或亮氨酸(leucine)为次要配体在微酸性介质中合成了Ni(Ⅱ),Cu(Ⅱ),and Zn(Ⅱ)的三元配合物。用元素分析、热分析、FTIR,UV-Vis分光光度法,磁性测量和质谱法表征了合成的三元配合物。结果表明,三元配合物可在金属(M):氨三乙酸(HNTA)∶缬氨酸(valine)或亮氨酸(leucine)=1∶1∶1时制得,其分子结构为[M(HNTA)(valine)(H2O)2].1.5H2O and[M(HNTA)(leucine)(H2O)2].1.5H2O(其中M=Ni(Ⅱ)or Cu(Ⅱ))和H2[Zn(NTA)(valine)(H2O)]H2O。标题三元过渡金属配合物为八面体对称构型。同时研究了该三元配合物对大肠杆菌,金黄色葡萄球菌,白色念珠菌,黄曲霉菌(菌株从开罗大学理学院微分析中心获得)的抗菌活性。根据推荐的知名方法用标准的抗菌和抗真菌剂进行体外测试(in vitro)以评估我们的新制备的配合物对细菌和真菌物种的生长抑制活性。  相似文献

Dodecanoyl isothiocyanate 1 was utilized for the construction of thioureido, 2-thioxo-2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one, benzo[d]-1,3-thiazin-4(H)-one and 3-amino quinazolin-4(3H)-one derivatives 2, 3, 4, and 5 respectively. However, N′-(2-cyanoacetyl) dodecanehydrazide 6 was also used as a key starting material for the construction of a variety of new pyrazolone, pyrazole, thiadiazole, pyridazine, chromeno[2,3-c]pyrazole, and dithiolane derivatives 7, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 20, respectively. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analyses and spectral data (IR, 1H NMR, and mass spectra). Some of the newly synthesized compounds bearing heterocyclic moieties were tested for antioxidant activity as reflected in their ability to inhibit oxidation in rat brain and kidney homogenates using 2,2′-azinobis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) inhibition. Also, in vitro anticancer activity was examined using the standard (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazolyl-2)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) (MTT) method against a panel of two human tumor cell lines namely; hepatocellular carcinoma HepG2 and mammary gland breast cancer MCF-7. Compounds 12 and 16b exhibited the highest activities as antioxidant and antitumor agents. Meanwhile, compounds 7 and 20 showed moderate activities and the rest of the tested compounds showed weak activities.  相似文献

Preparation of polypropylene (PP)/waste tyre dust (WTD) blends with addition of dicumyl peroxide (DCP) and N,N′-m-phenylenebismaleimide (HVA-2) (PP/WTDP-HVA2) was described. The blends were characterized based on their tensile properties, swelling resistance and morphology, as well as thermal properties. The results reveal that the presence of both chemicals in PP/WTDP-HVA2 blends brought about noticeable improvements in tensile properties, swelling resistance and interfacial adhesion. The thermal stability was also improved, indicating existence of some chemical interaction between WTD and the PP matrix in the presence of both DCP and HVA-2 during processing. The results imply that both chemicals had great influences on WTD destabilization, leading to the enlargement and intensification of the copolymer formation and, hence, improved the interfacial adhesion between WTD and the PP matrix. A competing reaction mechanism that may contribute to the property enhancement of PP/WTDP-HVA2 blends was proposed.  相似文献

Reactivity of 2-hydroxy-4-oxo-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidine-3-carbaldehyde (I) towards N- and C-nucleophiles was described. A series of new enaminones II–III, Schiff’s base IV, and hydrazinomethylenediketones V–VIII and X were prepared in good yields. Cyclization of compounds X was achieved by an action of acetic acid to give pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidines XI. Base catalyzed Knoevenagel condensation of aldehyde I with some active methyl and methylene compounds led to a series of chalcone-like derivatives XII, XV, XVII, XX, XXIII, XXV, XXVII, XXIX, XXXI, XXXII, and XXXV, in fair yields. Cyclization of enones XII, XV, and XX with hydrazine gave novel heterocyclyl substituted pyrazoles XIII, XVII, and XXI, respectively. Pyrano[2,3-d]pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidine-2,5-diones XXXIII, XXXIV, and XXXVI derivatives were obtained via cyclization of their respective enone derivatives.  相似文献

Three sorbent materials (A18C6-MS, DA18C6-MS and AB18C6-MS) based on the crown ether ligands, 1-aza-18-crown-6, 1,4,10,13-tetraoxa-7,16-diazacyclo octadecane and 4′-aminobenzo-18-crown-6, respectively, were prepared by the chemical immobilization of the ligand onto mesoporous silica support. The sorbents were characterized by FT-IR, scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis, elemental analysis and nitrogen adsorption-desorption test. The applicability of the sorbents for the extraction of biogenic amines by the batch sorption method was extensively studied and evaluated as a function of pH, biogenic amines concentration, contact time and reusability. Under the optimized conditions, all the sorbents exhibited highest selectivity toward spermidine (SPD) compared to other biogenic amines (tryptamine, putrescine, histamine and tyramine). Among the sorbents, AB18C6-MS offer the highest capacity and best selectivity towards SPD in the presence of other biogenic amines. The AB18C6-MS sorbent can be repeatedly used three times as there was no significant degradation in the extraction of the biogenic amines (%E > 85). The optimized procedure was successfully applied for the separation of SPD in food samples prior to the reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography separation.  相似文献

The first examples of catalytic enantioselective ring-opening/cross-metathesis (EROCM) reactions that involve enol ethers are reported. Specifically, we demonstrate that catalytic EROCM of several oxa- and azabicycles, cyclobutenes and a cyclopropene with an alkyl- or aryl-substituted enol ether proceed readily in the presence of a stereogenic-at-Mo monopyrrolide-monoaryloxide. In some instances, as little as 0.15 mol % of the catalytically active alkylidene is sufficient to promote complete conversion within 10 min. The desired products are formed in up to 90% yield and >99:1 enantiomeric ratio (er) with the disubstituted enol ether generated in >90% Z selectivity. The enol ether of the enantiomerically enriched products can be easily differentiated from the terminal alkene through a number of functionalization procedures that lead to the formation of useful intermediates for chemical synthesis (e.g., efficient acid hydrolysis to afford the enantiomerically enriched carboxaldehyde). In certain cases, enantioselectivity is strongly dependent on enol ether concentration: larger equivalents of the cross partner leads to the formation of products of high enantiomeric purity (versus near racemic products with one equivalent). The length of reaction time can be critical to product enantiomeric purity; high enantioselectivity in reactions that proceed to >98% conversion in as brief a reaction time as 30 s can be nearly entirely eroded within 30 min. Mechanistic rationale that accounts for the above characteristics of the catalytic process is provided.  相似文献
