Phase transitions and metastable states in TlGaSe2

The results of measurements of the dielectric constant of TlGaSe₂ in temperature range of successive phase transitions are presented. An anomaly in the temperature dependence of the real part of dielectric constant in TlGaSe₂ has been observed at about 242?K in addition to anomalies at 115, 108, and also near 65?K as reported in previous publications. The presence of temperature hysteresis effects in temperature interval between 115 and 242?K allowed making a conclusion about possible existence of an incommensurate phase in the mentioned temperature range. A model of succession of the structural phase transitions in TlGaSe₂ has been suggested.     

Selective formation of spiro dihydrofurans from one-pot reaction of dimedone with BrCN and aldehydes in the presence of Et3N

Reaction of 5,5-dimethylcyclohexane-1,3-dione (dimedone), aldehydes and cyanogen bromide in the presence of triethylamine leads to the selective formation of spiro dihydrofurans in moderate to good yields at room temperature.     

异喹啉酰肼构筑锌配合物的合成、晶体结构及其性质

采用普通溶液法合成了配合物[Zn(eiqnthz)_2]·DMF(1)和[Zn3(piqnthz)_2Cl_2]·2H_2O(2)(Heiqnthz=N,N′-乙酰异喹啉甲酰肼,H2piqnthz=N,N′-丙酰异喹啉甲酰肼)。通过X射线单晶衍射分析、X射线粉末衍射分析、红外光谱分析、热重分析以及荧光光谱分析等分析方法对2个配合物进行结构测定和性质表征。结构分析表明配合物1是单核结构,单斜晶系,空间群为C2/c,锌离子周围有4个氮原子和2个氧原子与之配位,形成一个畸变的N4O2八面体构型。配合物2属于单斜晶系,C2/c空间群,三核结构。中心原子Zn(1)、Zn(2)、Zn(3)均为5配位,Zn(1)、Zn(3)位于分子两端并且是变形四角锥配位构型,Zn(2)位于中间形成三角双锥配位构型,整体呈V字型。荧光分析表明Heiqnthz、H2piqnthz与锌(Ⅱ)离子配位后其荧光都发生较大的红移。     

On Some Mean Value Points Defined by Divided Differences and Their Hyers–Ulam Stability

Ruthenium(II) complexes derived from 2‐phenylthiazoline‐4‐carboxylic acid: structure and catalytic activity for transfer hydrogenation reaction

Piano‐stool ([(p‐cymene)Ru(thz)Cl], 2 ) and six‐coordinated ([Ru(thz)₂(PPh₃)₂], 3 ) ruthenium complexes derived from 2‐phenylthiazoline‐4‐carboxylic acid (Hthz, 1 ) were synthesized for the first time, and fully characterized using conventional methods. Also, the molecular structure of complex 3 was determined using X‐ray analysis. These complexes were evaluated as catalysts for transfer hydrogenation of carbonyl compounds in the presence of isopropyl alcohol and KO^tBu. Complex 2 was found to be more active than 3 in transfer hydrogenation. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

On-line preconcentration and determination of Au(III) in various environmental/industrial samples by flame atomic absorption spectrometry

A rapid and simple on-line method is described for the determination of Au(III) in various samples. The method is based on the sorption of gold(III) on Lewatit MonoPlus TP207 chelating resin including the iminodiacetate group, which is used as sorbent material and packed in a minicolumn. The chemical variables such as the pH of the sample solution, eluent type, interfering ions and concentrations of reagents, and instrumental variables such as sample loading volume, reagents flow rates, and tubing length, which affect the efficiency of the method were studied and optimised. Au(III) was sorbed on the chelating resin, from which it could be eluted with 3 mol L^?1 HCl, and then introduced directly to the nebuliser-burner system of FAAS. The limit of detection of the method was 0.2 µg L^?1 while the relative standard deviation was <4.0% for 20 µg L^?1 Au(III) concentration. The preconcentration factor was found to be 106 while the optimised sample volume was 15.3 mL. The accuracy of the method was verified by analysing the certified reference material. The developed method was applied successfully for the determination of gold in different samples with satisfactory results.
