All reported attempts to synthesize the tert‐butyl‐substituted adamantoid phosph(III)azane P4(NtBu)6 have failed, leading to the classification of this molecule as inaccessible and a literature example of steric control in chemistry of phosphorus‐nitrogen compounds. We now demonstrate that this structure is readily accessible by a solvent‐free mechanochemical milling approach, highlighting the importance of mechanochemical reaction environments in evaluating chemical reactivity. 相似文献

The biocon version of xylose intoxylitol using pH values of 4.0, 5.5 and 7.0 and tetracycline concentrations of 20 and 40
mg/L was carried out to verify the influence of these parameters on Candida guilliermondii metabolism for xylitol production. Experiments were performed with sugarcane bagasse hemicellulosi chydrolysate (48.5 g/L
of xylose) in 125-mL Erlenmeyer flasks, at 30°C, 200 rpm, during 88 h. The results demostrated that the bioconversion of xylose
into xylitol was significantly influenced by the pH. On the other hand, in media containing 20 or 40 mg/L of tetracycline,
this bioconversion was not significantly affected. The best results of xylitol production were obtained in hemicellulosic
hydrolysate without tetracycline, at pH 7.0 In these conditions, the maxim um specific growth rate was 0.014/h and the yield

With an appropriate mixture of cyclometalating and ancillary ligands, based on simple structures (commercial or easily synthesized), it has been possible to design a family of eight new Ir(III) complexes (1A, 1B, 2B, 2C, 3B, 3C, 3D and 3E) useful as luminescent materials in LEC devices. These complexes involved the use of phenylpyridines or fluorophenylpyridines as cyclometalating ligands and bipyridine or phenanthroline-type structures as ancillary ligands. The emitting properties have been evaluated from a theoretical approach through Density Functional Theory and Time-Dependent Density Functional Theory calculations, determining geometric parameters, frontier orbital energies, absorption and emission energies, injection and transport parameters of holes and electrons, and parameters associated with the radiative and non-radiative decays. With these complexes it was possible to obtain a wide range of emission colours, from deep red to blue (701–440 nm). Considering all the calculated parameters between all the complexes, it was identified that 1B was the best red, 2B was the best green, and 3D was the best blue emitter. Thus, with the mixture of these complexes, a dual host–guest system with 3D-1B and an RGB (red–green–blue) system with 3D-2B-1B are proposed, to produce white LECs. 相似文献

A hexanuclear heterometallic cluster of composition [Dy2Co4(L)4(NO3)2(OH)4(C2H5OH)2] ⋅ 2 C2H5OH ( 1 ) was synthesized by employing a Schiff base 2-(((2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzyl) imino)methyl)-4-methoxyphenol (H2L) as ligand and utilizing Dy(NO3)3 ⋅ 6H2O and Co(NO3)2 ⋅ 6H2O as metal ion sources. X-ray single-crystal diffraction analysis indicated that complex 1 contains a defect tetracubane core and possesses central symmetric structure, with two DyIII ions being in the central body position of the molecule and four CoII ions being arranged at the outer sites. Magnetic studies reveal that complex 1 behaves as single-molecule magnet (SMM) with energy barrier of 27.50 K. To investigate the individual contribution of DyIII and CoII ions to the SMM behavior, another two complexes of formulae [Dy2Zn4(L)4(NO3)2(OH)4] ⋅ 4CH3OH ( 2 ) and [Y2Co4(L)4(NO3)2(OH)4(C2H5OH)2] ⋅ 2 C2H5OH ( 3 ) were prepared. Complexes 1 and 3 are isomorphous. The coordination geometries of DyIII ions in 1 and 2 are different. The DyIII ions are eight-coordinated in 2 and nine-coordinated in 1 . Complex 2 exhibits SMM behavior with energy barrier of 69.67 K, but complex 3 does not display SMM property. These results reveal that the SMM behaviors of 1 and 2 are mainly originated from DyIII ions. It might be the higher symmetry of DyIII ions in 2 that results in the higher energy barrier. 相似文献

The zircon mineral is widely studied in geochronology. In the case of the fission track method (FTM), the age is determined by the density of fission tracks at the zircon surface, which can be observed with an optical microscope after an appropriate chemical treatment (etching). The etching must be isotropic at the zircon grain surface to be used in the FTM, which leads those zircon grains whose etching is anisotropic to be discarded. The only reason for this discarding is the nonuniform morphology of the surface grain seen by optical microscopy, that is, no further physicochemical analysis is performed. In this work, combining micro‐Raman and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to study the etching anisotropy, it was shown that zircon grains that present at least one area at the surface where the density of fission track is uniform can be used in the FTM. The micro‐Raman showed characteristic spectra of the standard zircon sample either from the areas where there are tracks or from where there are not. The only difference found was in the Raman bandwidths, which were broader for the areas with higher density of fission tracks. This suggests simply a decrease in the relative percentage of the crystalline/amorphous phases at these areas. The SEM/energy dispersive spectrometry (EDX) showed that there were no significant differences in the principal chemical composition at the areas with and without fission tracks.
