The molecular mechanism for the oxidation of sulfides to sulfoxides and subsequent oxidation to sulfones by diperoxo, MoO(O(2))(2)(OPH(3)) (I), and monoperoxo, MoO(2)(O(2))(OPH(3)) (II), complexes of molybdenum was studied using density functional calculations at the b3lyp level and the transition state theory. Complexes I and II were both found to be active species. Sulfide oxidation by I or II shows similar activation free energy values of 18.5 and 20.9 kcal/mol, respectively, whereas sulfoxides are oxidized by I (deltaG = 20.6 kcal/mol) rather than by II (deltaG = 30.3 kcal/mol). Calculated kinetic and thermodynamic parameters account for the spontaneous overoxidation of sulfides to sulfones as has been experimentally observed. The charge decomposition analysis (CDA) of the calculated transition structures of sulfide and sulfoxide oxidations revealed that I and II are stronger electrophilic oxidants toward sulfides than they are toward sulfoxides.  相似文献

A total of 2400 samples of commercial Brazilian C gasoline were collected over a 6-month period from different gas stations in the S?o Paulo state, Brazil, and analysed with respect to 12 physicochemical parameters according to regulation 309 of the Brazilian Government Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP). The percentages (v/v) of hydrocarbons (olefins, aromatics and saturated) were also determined. Hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA) was employed to select 150 representative samples that exhibited least similarity on the basis of their physicochemical parameters and hydrocarbon compositions. The chromatographic profiles of the selected samples were measured by gas chromatography with flame ionisation detection and analysed using soft independent modelling of class analogy (SIMCA) method in order to create a classification scheme to identify conform gasolines according to ANP 309 regulation. Following the optimisation of the SIMCA algorithm, it was possible to classify correctly 96% of the commercial gasoline samples present in the training set of 100. In order to check the quality of the model, an external group of 50 gasoline samples (the prediction set) were analysed and the developed SIMCA model classified 94% of these correctly. The developed chemometric method is recommended for screening commercial gasoline quality and detection of potential adulteration.  相似文献

Three-step development, optimization and validation strategy for GC fingerprints of Brazilian commercial gasoline is described. A suitable chromatographic system was selected first. The following step was to improve acceptable chromatographic resolution with reduced analysis time, which is recommended for routine applications. Optimization was carried out using full three-level factorial designs. Optimal conditions were obtained for flow rate, oven ramps, injection volume and split ratio. Finally, several validation parameters were performed. Therefore, a feasible and reliable fingerprint was established to identify Brazilian commercial gasoline quality. This strategy can also be applied to develop fingerprints for quality control of other fuels.  相似文献

Compounds containing a pyran moiety fused to two cyclohexen-2-one rings are collectively called xanthenodiones (1,8-dioxooctahydroxanthenes). With the aim of increasing the knowledge about the structures of xanthenodiones, in the present investigation two xanthenodiones, namely 9-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-3,4,5,6,7,9-hexahydro-1H-xanthene-1,8(2H)-dione ( 1 ) and 9-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-3,6-diisopropyl 3,4,5,6,7,9-hexahydro-1H-xanthene-1,8(2H)-dione ( 2 ), were synthesized. Their structures were investigated by nuclear magnetic resonance, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, infrared (IR), and Raman spectroscopy techniques along with mass spectrometry. In addition, a computational study was carried out involving vibrational spectroscopy, which allowed us to assign vibrational modes and their shifts as lattice environment. Even though compound 2 has two stereocenters, it crystallized in a centrosymmetric space group (P21/c) as expected from its achiral synthesis. This compound also crystallized as monohydrate and the presence of water molecule did not change the conformation of the target compounds.  相似文献

A series of new ruthenium-iron based derivatives [Ru(η5-Cp)(dppf)Cl] (1), [Ru(η5-Cp)(dppf)Br] (2), [Ru(η5-Cp)(dppf)I] (3) and [Ru(η5-Cp)(dppf)N3] (4) were obtained by reactions of [Ru(η5-Cp)(PPh3)2Cl] with 1,1′-bis(diphenylphosphino) ferrocene (dppf) and characterized by IR, NMR (1H, 13C and 31P), 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. Additionally, the compound (3) was structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography, and the results were as follows: orthorhombic, Pbca, a = 18.2458(10), b = 20.9192(11), c = 34.4138(19) Å, α = β = γ = 90°, V = 13135.3(12) Å3 and Z = 16.  相似文献

Background

Recent studies have shown that the human right-hemispheric auditory cortex is particularly sensitive to reduction in sound quality, with an increase in distortion resulting in an amplification of the auditory N1m response measured in the magnetoencephalography (MEG). Here, we examined whether this sensitivity is specific to the processing of acoustic properties of speech or whether it can be observed also in the processing of sounds with a simple spectral structure. We degraded speech stimuli (vowel /a/), complex non-speech stimuli (a composite of five sinusoidals), and sinusoidal tones by decreasing the amplitude resolution of the signal waveform. The amplitude resolution was impoverished by reducing the number of bits to represent the signal samples. Auditory evoked magnetic fields (AEFs) were measured in the left and right hemisphere of sixteen healthy subjects.

Results

We found that the AEF amplitudes increased significantly with stimulus distortion for all stimulus types, which indicates that the right-hemispheric N1m sensitivity is not related exclusively to degradation of acoustic properties of speech. In addition, the P1m and P2m responses were amplified with increasing distortion similarly in both hemispheres. The AEF latencies were not systematically affected by the distortion.

Conclusions

We propose that the increased activity of AEFs reflects cortical processing of acoustic properties common to both speech and non-speech stimuli. More specifically, the enhancement is most likely caused by spectral changes brought about by the decrease of amplitude resolution, in particular the introduction of periodic, signal-dependent distortion to the original sound. Converging evidence suggests that the observed AEF amplification could reflect cortical sensitivity to periodic sounds.  相似文献

In this article we study multipartite Ramsey numbers for odd cycles. Our main result is the proof that a conjecture of Gyárfás et al. (J Graph Theory 61 (2009), 12–21), holds for graphs with a large enough number of vertices. A stable conducting film for sensing using reduced graphene oxide (RGO), gold nanoparticles (GNPs), and potato starch (PS) is proposed. The characterization of the nanomaterials was obtained by ultraviolet and visible spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, zeta potential, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, and cyclic voltammetry. The voltammetric behavior of the RGO-GNPs-PS/GCE electrodes was studied in the presence of estriol and the results showed a high anodic peak current at 0.64 V. Under optimal conditions, an analytical curve was obtained, in which the anodic peak estriol was linear in the range from 1.5 to 22 μmol L?1, with a detection limit of 0.48 μmol L?1. The modified electrodes were applied for determination of estriol in environmental and biological samples. The proposed electrode was used for estriol determination in water and urine samples, which presented a recovery range from 92.1 to 106%, showing that RGO-GNPs-PS/GCE is a viable alternative for the detection of estriol and can be attractive for several electrochemical applications.  相似文献
