His‐tagged molecular species, a ferrocene derivative and Protein A, were immobilized on electrode surfaces (Au and graphite) through formation of a chelated complex in the presence of Cu2+ cations used as bridging units. The complex was cleaved and the attached molecules were released from the electrode surface by applying reductive potential to the electrodes resulting in Cu2+ reduction, thus decomposing the chelate complex. The molecule release process was followed by cyclic voltammetry in case of the ferrocene derivative. His‐tagged Protein A was additionally labeled with a fluorescent tag and its release was followed by fluorescence measurements in the solution and by impedance spectroscopy at the electrode. The studied release of the His‐tagged redox species and biomolecules was considered as a new generic approach to the signal‐controlled molecule release applicable in various biotechnological and biomedical applications.  相似文献

We report on the density functional theory aided design of a variety of organic ferroelectric and multiferroic materials by functionalizing crystallized transition-metal molecular sandwich nanowires with chemical groups such as -F, -Cl, -CN, -NO(2), ═O, and -OH. Such functionalized polar wires exhibit molecular reorientation in response to an electric field. Ferroelectric polarizations as large as 23.0 μC/cm(2) are predicted in crystals based on fully hydroxylized sandwich nanowires. Furthermore, we find that organic nanowires formed by sandwiching transition-metal atoms in croconic and rhodizonic acids, dihydroxybenzoquinone, dichloro-dihydroxy-p-benzoquinone, or benzene decorated by -COOH groups exhibit ordered magnetic moments, leading to a multiferroic organometallic crystal. When crystallized through hydrogen bonds, the microscopic molecular reorientation translates into a switchable polarization through proton transfer. A giant interface magnetoelectric response that is orders of magnitude greater than previously reported for conventional oxide heterostructure interfaces is predicted.  相似文献

Reactions of LnBr(3) or LnOI with molten boric acid result in formation of Ln[B(5)O(8)(OH)(H(2)O)(2)Br] (Ln = La-Pr), Nd(4)[B(18)O(25)(OH)(13)Br(3)], or Ln[B(5)O(8)(OH)(H(2)O)(2)I] (Ln = La-Nd). Reaction of PuOI with molten boric acid yields Pu[B(7)O(11)(OH)(H(2)O)(2)I]. The Ln(III) and Pu(III) centers in these compounds are found as nine-coordinate hula-hoop or 10-coordinate capped triangular cupola geometries where there are six approximately coplanar oxygen donors provided by triangular holes in the polyborate sheets. The borate sheets are connected into three-dimensional networks by additional BO(3) triangles and/or BO(4) tetrahedra that are roughly perpendicular to the layers. The room-temperature absorption spectrum of single crystals of Pu[B(7)O(11)(OH)(H(2)O)(2)I] shows characteristic f-f transitions for Pu(III) that are essentially indistinguishable from Pu(III) in other compounds with alternative ligands and different coordination environments.  相似文献

New routes for the preparation of highly active TiO(2)-supported Cu and CuZn catalysts have been developed for C-O coupling reactions. Slurries of a titania precursor were dip-coated onto glass beads to obtain either structured mesoporous or non-porous titania thin films. The Cu and CuZn nanoparticles, synthesized using a reduction by solvent method, were deposited onto calcined films to obtain a Cu loading of 2 wt%. The catalysts were characterized by inductively coupled plasma (ICP) spectroscopy, temperature-programmed oxidation/reduction (TPO/TPR) techniques, (63)Cu nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning and transmission electron microscopy (S/TEM-EDX) and X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy (XPS). The activity and stability of the catalysts obtained have been studied in the C-O Ullmann coupling of 4-chloropyridine and potassium phenolate. The titania-supported nanoparticles retained catalyst activity for up to 12 h. However, catalyst deactivation was observed for longer operation times due to oxidation of the Cu nanoparticles. The oxidation rate could be significantly reduced over the CuZn/TiO(2) catalytic films due to the presence of Zn. The 4-phenoxypyridine yield was 64% on the Cu/nonporous TiO(2) at 120 °C. The highest product yield of 84% was obtained on the Cu/mesoporous TiO(2) at 140 °C, corresponding to an initial reaction rate of 104 mmol g(cat) (-1) s(-1). The activation energy on the Cu/mesoporous TiO(2) catalyst was found to be (144±5) kJ mol(-1), which is close to the value obtained for the reaction over unsupported CuZn nanoparticles (123±3 kJ mol(-1)) and almost twice the value observed over the catalysts deposited onto the non-porous TiO(2) support (75±2 kJ mol(-1)).  相似文献

A spectroscopic protocol is proposed to implement confocal microfluorescence imaging to the analysis of microinhomogeneity in the nanocrystallization of the core of fibers belonging to a new kind of broadband fiber amplifier based on glass with embedded nanocrystals. Nanocrystallization, crucial for achieving an adequate light emission efficiency of transition metal ions in these materials, has to be as homogeneous as possible in the fiber to assure optical amplification. This requirement calls for a sensitive method for monitoring nanostructuring in oxide glasses. Here we show that mapping microfluorescence excited at 633 nm by a He-Ne laser may give a useful tool in this regard, thanks to quasi-resonant excitation of coordination defects typical of germanosilicate materials, such as nonbridging oxygens and charged Ge-O-Ge sites, whose fluorescence are shown to undergo spectral modifications when nanocrystals form into the glass. The method has been positively checked on prototypes of optical fibers--preventively characterized by means of scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy--fabricated from preforms of Ni-doped Li?O-Na?O-Sb?O?-Ga?O?-GeO?-SiO? glass in silica cladding and subjected to heat treatment to activate gallium oxide nanocrystal growth. The method indeed enables not only the mapping of the crystallization degree but also the identification of drawing-induced defects in the fiber cladding.  相似文献

Azo coupling of 1,3‐dicarbonyl compounds with tetrazolyl‐5‐diazonium chloride is used to develop a convenient one‐step procedure for the synthesis of 4,7‐dihydrotetrazolo[5,1‐c][1,2,4]triazines. In contrast to nonfluorinated analogs, 7‐hydroxy‐7‐polyfluoroalkyl‐4,7‐dihydrotetrazolo[5,1‐c][1,2,4]triazines undergo a ring‐chain isomerism resulting from the cleavage at the C7―N7a bond. A distinctive feature of nonfluorinated 4,7‐dihydrotetrazolo[5,1‐c][1,2,4]triazines is the possibility to dehydration, which is accompanied by an azide rearrangement due to the tetrazole ring cleavage with the formation of tetrazolo[1,5‐b][1,2,4]triazines.  相似文献

Convenient regioselective syntheses of 3‐acetates of methyl pyranosides of α‐L‐rhamnose, α‐ and β‐L‐arabinose, α‐D‐fucose, α‐D‐lyxose, and β‐D‐ribose with good yields have been attained using MoCl5 as catalyst. Methyl β‐L‐rhamnopyranoside under this conditions gave 2‐acetate.  相似文献

The title compound, betaine 0.77‐perhydrate 0.23‐hydrate, (CH3)3N+CH2COO·0.77H2O2·0.23H2O, crystallizes in the orthorhombic noncentrosymmetric space group Pca21. Chiral molecules of hydrogen peroxide are positionally disordered with water molecules in a ratio of 0.77:0.23. Betaine, 2‐(trimethylazaniumyl)acetate, preserves its zwitterionic state, with a positively charged ammonium group and a negatively charged carboxylate group. The molecular conformation of betaine here differs from the conformations of both anhydrous betaine and its hydrate, mainly in the orientation of the carboxylate group with respect to the C—C—N skeleton. Hydrogen peroxide is linked via two hydrogen bonds to carboxylate groups, forming infinite chains along the crystallographic a axis, which are very similar to those in the crystal structure of betaine hydrate. The present work contributes to the understanding of the structure‐forming factors for amino acid perhydrates, which are presently attracting much attention. A correlation is suggested between the ratio of amino acid zwitterions and hydrogen peroxide in the unit cell and the structural motifs present in the crystal structures of all currently known amino acids perhydrates. This can help to classify the crystal structures of amino acid perhydrates and to design new crystal structures.  相似文献

Inorganic anions were used as templates in the reaction between a diamine and an activated diacid to form macrocyclic amides. The reaction conditions were found to perform the macrocyclization sufficiently slow to observe a template effect. A number of analytical methods were used to clarify the reaction mechanisms and to show that the structure of the intermediate plays a decisive role in determining the product distribution. For the macrocyclization under kinetic control, it was shown that the amount of a template, the conformational rigidity of building blocks, and the anion affinities of reaction components and intermediates are important parameters that one should take into consideration to achieve high yields.  相似文献

Electro-optically active polymer–liquid crystal composites based on ferroelectric liquid crystals and stretched porous polyethylene films were developed. The alignment of ferroelectric liquid crystals incorporated into the porous polyethylene films with average porous diameter of around 200 nm was observed and studied. It was shown experimentally that these samples containing ferroelectric liquid crystals are flexible electro-optical films exhibiting a saturation electric field near 2·10Vm?1 and a response time of about 30 μs under the action of the saturation field. A simple theoretical model of ferroelectric liquid crystal molecules' complete reorientation in electric fields inside pores of the films has been proposed and confirmed experimentally.  相似文献
