Differential cross sections for neutron elastic scattering in the energy range 7–26 MeV from 40Ca, 90Zr, 92Mo, 116, 124Sn and 208Pb are analyzed in terms of a global optical-model potential. A smooth variation of the real radius parameters with mass number is investigated. Otherwise, optical-model geometrical parameters are kept fixed at values obtained by averaging individual best fits. Precise conductance data for solutions of NaI, NaBPh4, KI, KSCN, Csl, Pr4NI, Pr4NBr, Pr4NClO4, i-Am3BuNI, and i-Am3BuNBPh4 in ethanol at ?45, ?35, ?25, ?15, ?5, 5, 15, and 25°C are communicated and discussed. Measurements were carried out by procedures and equipment known to produce data of high precision. Evaluation of the data is performed on the basis of a conductance equation that includes terms in c3/2. Single ion conductances are determined with the help of temperature dependent transference numberts t0 + (KSCN/EtOH). Ion-pair association constants and their temperature dependence are discussed in terms of contact and solvent separated ion pairs and the role of non-Coulombic forces is demonstrated with the help of an appropriate splitting of the Gibb's energy of ion-pair formation. 相似文献

Summary In this paper we study boundary value problems for linear quasi elliptic (A+σ)-type operators, where σ is an assigned perturbation; we prove that the related operator is a Fredholm operator whose index is zero. Then we study spectral properties of the operator related to the problem with homogeneous boundary conditions.

PtCo nanoparticles with homogeneous size (around 3–4 nm) have been synthesized in a water-in-oil microemulsion of water/polyethylenglycol–dodecylether (BRIJ®30)/n-heptane. X-ray diffraction study revealed the formation of a cubic phase with a gradual decrease of the cell parameter with increasing cobalt incorporation in the crystalline lattice of platinum. In relation to their magnetic properties, the PtCo nanoparticles present a superparamagnetic behaviour even after annealing, although higher permeability was induced by the thermal treatment. Finally, the electrocatalytic activity of the particles towards oxalic acid oxidation in H2SO4 was evaluated. The Pt74Co26 nanoparticles showed the highest reactivity for this reaction. 相似文献

The role of valence electrons for the muon capture process by molecules is experimentally investigated with the aid of cascade calculations. Low-momentum muons are introduced to gas targets of CO, CO2, and COS below atmospheric pressure. The initial states of captured muons are determined from the measured muonic X-ray structure of the Lyman and Balmer series. We propose that the lone pair electrons in the carbon atom of CO significantly contribute to the capture of a muon with large angular momenta.

Properties of individual molecules of star-like polystyrene with calix[8]arene core in dilute chloroform solutions were studied using methods of static light scattering, translation diffusion, and viscometry. The solution behavior of the polymer investigated significantly differs from the properties of linear polymers. Star-like polystyrene macromolecules in solutions are characterized by compact structure—the hydrodynamic radius is not higher than 5.5?nm at M?=?125,000?g?mol?1. N-doped ZnO films were deposited by RF magnetron sputtering in N2/Ar gas mixture and were post-annealed at different temperatures (Ta) ranging from 400 to 800 °C in O2 gas at atmospheric pressure. The as-deposited and post-annealed films were characterized by their structural (XRD), compositional (SIMS, XPS), optical (UV-vis-NIR spectrometry), electrical (Hall measurements), and optoelectronic properties (PL spectra). The XRD results authenticate the improvement of crystallinity following post-annealing. The weak intensity of the (0 0 2) reflection obtained for the as-deposited N-doped ZnO films was increased with the increasing Ta to become the preferred orientation at higher Ta (800 °C). The amount of N-concentration and the chemical states of N element in ZnO films were changed with the Ta, especially above 400 °C. The average visible transmittance (400-800 nm) of the as-deposited films (26%) was increased with the increasing Ta to reach a maximum of 75% at 600 °C but then decreased. In the PL spectra, A0X emission at 3.321 eV was observed for Ta = 400 °C besides the main D0X emission. The intensity of the A0X emission was decreased with the increasing Ta whereas D0X emission became sharper and more optical emission centers were observed when Ta is increased above 400 °C. 相似文献
