As part of an effort to examine the possibility of using molecular-beam Fourier-transform microwave spectroscopy to unambiguously detect and monitor chemical warfare agents, we report the first observation and assignment of the rotational spectrum of the nerve agent Sarin (GB) (Methylphosphonofluoridic acid 1-methyl-ethyl ester, CAS #107-44-8) at frequencies between 10 and 22 GHz. Only one of the two low-energy conformers of this organophosphorus compound (C(4)H(10)FO(2)P) was observed in the rotationally cold (T(rot)<2 K) molecular beam. The experimental asymmetric-rotor ground-state rotational constants of this conformer are A=2874.0710(9) MHz, B=1168.5776(4) MHz, C=1056.3363(4) MHz (Type A standard uncertainties are given, i.e., 1sigma), as obtained from a least-squares analysis of 74 a-, b-, and c-type rotational transitions. Several of the transitions are split into doublets due to the internal rotation of the methyl group attached to the phosphorus. The three-fold-symmetry barrier to internal rotation estimated from these splittings is 677.0(4) cm(-1). Ab initio electronic structure calculations using Hartree-Fock, density functional, and Moller-Plesset perturbation theories have also been made. The structure of the lowest-energy conformer determined from a structural optimization at the MP2/6-311G(**) level of theory is consistent with our experimental findings. Cobalt/gold (Co/Au) bimetallic nanoparticles are prepared by chemically reducing gold (III) chloride to gold in the presence of pre-synthesized Co nanoparticles. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) absorption spectrometry, and a superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) magnetometer have been used to characterize as-prepared bimetallic nanoparticles. Our findings demonstrate Au not only grows onto Co nanoparticles, forming a surface coating, but also diffuses into Co nanoparticles. The introduction of Au alters the crystalline structure of Co nanoparticles and changes their magnetic properties. Dodecanethiols induce a reorganization of as-prepared Co/Au bimetallic nanoparticles.  相似文献

Self-assembling systems, whose structure and function can be reversibly controlled in situ are of primary importance for creating multifunctional supramolecular arrays and mimicking the complexity of natural systems. Herein we report on photofunctional fibers self-assembled from perylene diimide cromophores, in which interactions between aromatic monomers can be attenuated through their reduction to anionic species that causes fiber fission. Oxidation with air restores the fibers. The sequence represents reversible supramolecular depolymerization-polymerization in situ and is accompanied by a reversible switching of photofunction.  相似文献

自顶向下蛋白质组学的一个重要难题是缺乏与质谱可以在线连用并且可以提供高效蛋白质分离的液相分离技术。毛细管区带电泳与纳升反相色谱都可以与质谱在线连用,并且在复杂蛋白质样品分析方面也都有了显著的提升。在这里,我们首次比较了先进的纳升反相色谱-串联质谱与毛细管区带电泳-串联质谱平台用于自顶向下蛋白质组学分析。相对于纳升反相色谱-质谱而言,毛细管区带电泳-质谱可以将标准蛋白质样品的消耗量降低10倍,而且保持与纳升反相色谱-质谱相当的蛋白质信号强度。有意思的是,与毛细管区带电泳-质谱相比,纳升反相色谱-质谱可以获得更高的蛋白质分子的气相价态。这个现象可能是由于反相流动相中的高浓度乙腈使得蛋白质变性的更加充分。从1微克的大肠杆菌蛋白质样品中,毛细管区带电泳-串联质谱可以鉴定到159个蛋白质和513个蛋白质变体,而纳升反相色谱-串联质谱仅鉴定到105个蛋白质和277个蛋白质变体。当将大肠杆菌蛋白质的上样量提高到8微克时,纳升反相色谱-串联质谱可以鉴定到245个蛋白质和1004个蛋白质变体。由于纳升反相色谱-串联质谱具有比毛细管区带电泳-串联质谱更高的上样量与更宽的分离窗口,当蛋白质样品量不受限制时,纳升反相色谱-串联质谱具有明显的优势。但是,在痕量样品分析方面,毛细管区带电泳-串联质谱具有更大的潜力。  相似文献

In this work, we prove the persistence in time of superoscillations for the Schrödinger equation with time-dependent coefficients. In order to prove the persistence of superoscillations, we have conditioned the coefficients to satisfy a Riccati system, and we have expressed the solution as a convolution operator in terms of solutions of this Riccati system. Further, we have solved explicitly the Cauchy initial value problem with three different kinds of superoscillatory initial data. The operator is defined on a space of entire functions. Particular examples include Caldirola-Kanai and degenerate parametric harmonic oscillator Hamiltonians, and other examples could include Hamiltonians not self-adjoint. For these examples, we have illustrated numerically the convergence on real and imaginary parts.  相似文献

This paper deals with a bulk input-batch service queueing system and (r,N)-hysteretic control, i.e., under N-policy and r-quorum discipline. The model also includes state dependent service. The goal of such global control is to reduce the waste of server capacity (r-quorum), an unwanted number of switchovers between idle and busy modes (N-policy), and the queue length (by means of variable service rates). The analysis of the system is based on first excess level technique developed by the second author. This approach enables the authors to obtain major characteristics for the queueing process in a closed analytical form. Experiment and theory have been used to study reactive alkyne pi complexes, intermediates in anti-Markovnikov alkyne hydration by CpRu bis(phosphine) catalysts with heterocyclic substituents. Each heterocycle accepts a hydrogen bond from an acetylene C-H, as revealed by NMR coupling constants between alkyne 13C and 1H nuclei as well as between alkyne 13C and pyridine 15N (2hJCN). Moreover, further alkyne transformations occur at temperatures from 50 to 90 degrees C below what is needed to convert a control compound without the heterocycles.  相似文献

We report measurements of the full intrinsic optical anisotropy of isolated single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs). By combining absorption spectroscopy with transmission ellipsometry and polarization-dependent resonant Raman scattering, we obtain the real and imaginary parts of the SWNT permittivity from aligned semiconducting SWNTs dispersed in stretched polymer films. Our results are in agreement with theoretical predictions, highlighting the limited polarizability of excitons in a quasi-1D system.  相似文献
