The dative N-B bond was used to simply assemble heterocycles with a skeleton akin to the 5-oxofuro[2,3-b]furan motif. Twenty-five new N-B heterocycles were prepared via a highly efficient one-pot four-component reaction in yields and diastereoselectivities up to 95% and >97%, respectively. A series of europium cryptates are studied, using semiempirical methods to predict electronic and spectroscopic properties. The results are compared with theoretical (DFT) and experimental results published by Guillaumont and co-workers (ChemPhysChem2007, 8, 480). Triplet energies calculated by semiempirical methods have errors similar to those obtained by TD-DFT methodology but hundreds of times faster. Moreover, the semiempirical results not only reproduce well the experimental values but also help explain the low values of quantum efficiency observed for these complexes. 相似文献

The syntheses, structures, and spectroscopy of a series of oligomeric tertiary oligophenylureas possessing one to five phenyl rings are reported. A convergent synthetic method employing tertiary monoamine and diamine building blocks is employed. NMR and molecular modeling are indicative of folded structures for all of the oligophenylureas in which adjacent phenyl rings have a splayed face-to-face geometry. NMR chemical shifts, absorption and emission maxima, and electrochemical oxidation potentials are all dependent upon the number of phenyl rings. The addition of a first inner phenyl has a pronounced effect on the chemical shifts, while a second and third inner phenyl have diminished effects. The oxidation potentials of the oligophenylureas display an abrupt decrease upon the addition of the second inner phenyl. The absorption and emission spectra are relatively insensitive to the addition of one to three inner phenyl rings. The electronic structures of the oligophenylureas possessing one to eight rings have been analyzed using ZINDO calculations. The frontier orbitals of the ureas with one to three phenyl rings are localized on a single phenyl ring (the inner ring for the three-ring urea), whereas the frontier orbitals of the higher oligomers are delocalized over two phenyl rings. In all cases, urea-localized n,pi* transitions are lower in energy than the phenyl-localized pi,pi* transitions. The changes in properties with added phenyl rings parallel those previously observed for multilayered cyclophanes; however, they are less pronounced because of weaker coupling between the phenyl rings of the oligophenylureas. 相似文献

Milk samples can be efficiently digested using a focused microwave oven, however the conventional procedure of addition of concentrated acids to the liquid sample leads to digestates with elevated acidity and residual carbon concentrations. In this work a focused microwave oven was applied for acid digestion of bovine milk samples using a conventional and an alternative procedure based on gradual sample addition to hot and concentrated acids. A two-level 23 full factorial design experiment with eight runs was carried out to evaluate the optimum experimental conditions for reducing both the residual carbon and the final acidity of digestates. The three studied parameters were: temperature of the digestion medium for sample addition, addition of sulfuric acid before the sample or during the first step, and number of aliquots of the sample gradually added. The best conditions were attained by adding small aliquots of milk (ten-fold a volume of 0.5 ml added during 5.0 min) to a digestion mixture containing 3.0 ml nitric acid plus 1.0 ml sulfuric acid heated at 105 °C. It was demonstrated that the digestion efficiency of the alternative procedure was better than the conventional procedure, i.e. 98 and 80%, respectively. The alternative procedure was applied for determination of Ba, Ca, Cu, K, Mg, Na, P, and Zn in whole and non-fat bovine milk. Acylhydrazones are still an important framework to the design of new bioactive compounds. As treatment of chronic pain represents a clinical challenge, we decided to modify the structure of LASSBio-1514 (1), previously described as anti-inflammatory and analgesic prototype. Applying the homologation as a strategy for molecular modification, we designed a series of cyclopentyl- (2a–e), cyclobutyl- (3a–e), and cyclopropylacylhydrazones (4a–e) that were synthetized and evaluated in murine models of inflammation and pain. A comparison of their in silico physicochemical and drug-like profile was conducted, as well as their anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. Compounds 4a (LASSBio-1755) and 4e (LASSBio-1757) displayed excellent in silico drug-like profiles and were identified as new analgesic lead-candidates in acute and chronic model of pain, through oral administration. 相似文献

This study aimed to evaluate and compare the effects of co-treatment with purified annatto oil (PAO) or its granules (GRA, Chronic®) with that of testosterone on the orchiectomy-induced osteoporosis in Wistar rats. After surgery, rats were treated from day 7 until day 45 with testosterone only (TES, 7 mg/kg, IM) or TES + PAO or GRA (200 mg/kg, p.o.). The following parameters were evaluated: food/water intake, weight, HDL, LDL, glucose, triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), alkaline phosphatase levels, blood phosphorus and calcium contents, femur weight, structure (through scanning electron microscopy), and calcium content (through atomic absorption spectrophotometry). Our results show that orchiectomy could significantly change the blood lipid profile and decrease bone integrity parameters. Testosterone reposition alone could improve some endpoints, including LDL, TC, bone weight, and bone calcium concentration. However, other parameters were not significantly improved. Co-treatment with PAO or GRA improved the blood lipid profile and bone integrity more significantly and improved some endpoints not affected by testosterone reposition alone (such as TG levels and trabeculae sizes). The results suggest that co-treatment with annatto products improved the blood lipid profile and the anti-osteoporosis effects of testosterone. Overall, GRA had better results than PAO. 相似文献

This short review presents a critical overview of the most recent works published in the literature related to the use of electrochemical advanced oxidation processes (EAOPs) for the treatment of antibiotics present in synthetic and real wastewaters. The first section focuses on novelties within the traditional EAOPs, including electrochemical oxidation and electrochemical Fenton-based processes. The second section is devoted to new electrochemical technologies, including heterogeneous electro-Fenton, electrochemically activated persulfate processes, and combined processes.
