The need to produce an ever-increasing quantity of material products and food resulting from the planet globalization process has contributed to the spread of modern agriculture based on a linear production resulting in the generation of tons of waste. This huge amount of waste is generally accumulated in landfills, causing different environmental problems. Hence, researchers moved on to study the processes used to recover agro-industrial by-products within a circular and sustainable bio-economy concept. A systematic quest on Scopus and PubMed databases was performed to identify the data available to date on recycling agro-industrial by-products of Olea europaea L. This systematic review summarizes the knowledge regarding the use of olive trees by-products for producing animal feed, biocomposites, bioethanol, cellulose pulp, activated carbon, and as a fuel source for energy production. Furthermore, the data regarding the potential biological activity of extracts from olive roots, wood, bark, and pruning were analyzed. Olive trees by-products are, indeed, rich in molecules with antioxidant, antimicrobial, cardioprotective, and anticancer activity, representing a promising candidate for treat several human diseases.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to verify the influence of photoactivation with the argon ion laser on shrinkage stress (SS), followed by evaluation of Vickers microhardness (VM), percentage of maximum hardness (PMH), flexural strength (FS), and flexural modulus (FM) of a composite resin. The study groups were: L1-laser at 200 mW for 10 seconds; L2-laser at 200 mW for 20 seconds; L3-laser at 250 mW for 10 seconds; L4-laser at 250 mW for 20 seconds; H-halogen light at 275 mW for 20 seconds. Data were analyzed by ANOVA/Tukey’s test (α=5%). The values of SS (MPa) were statistically lower for the group L3 (1.3)c, followed by groups L1 (2.7)b, L4 (3.4)a, b, L2 (3.7)a, and H (4.5)a. There was no difference in the values of VM when the same time of photoactivation was used, with respective values being L1=70.1a, L2=78.1b, L3=69.9a, L4=78.1b and H=79.9b. All groups showed a PMH of at least 80%. Only the group L1 showed differences in FS (MPa) and FM (GPa), the respective values of 86.2 and 5.4 being lower. Therefore, the use of argon ion laser had influenced the composite resin polymerization. The L3 group presented adequate mechanical properties and minimum SS, reducing the clinical working time for photoactivation of restorations with the tested resin by 50%.  相似文献

The copper(II) complexes of formula [Cu2(2,5-dpp)(H2O)4(CF3SO3)4] · 2H2O (1) and [Cu2(2,5-dpp)(H2O)2(tcnoet)4]n (2) [2,5-dpp = 2,5-bis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine and tcnoet = 1,1,3,3-tetracyano-2-ethoxypropenide anion] have been prepared and their structures determined by X-ray crystallographic methods. Compound 1 is a dinuclear complex where the 2,5-dpp molecule acts as a bis-bidentate bridge between the two copper centers, the electroneutrality being achieved by four terminally bound triflate anions. Each copper(II) ion presents an elongated octahedral CuN2O4 environment with two nitrogen atoms from 2,5-dpp and two water molecules in the basal plane and two triflate-oxygen atoms in the axial positions. Compound 2 is a zigzag chain of copper(II) ions with regular alternating 2,5-dpp and double tcnoet groups as bridges. Each copper(II) ion exhibits an elongated octahedral CuN5O surrounding with four nitrogen atoms, two from 2,5-dpp, one from a terminally bound tcnoet and the other from a bridging tcnoet occupying the equatorial positions and a water oxygen and a nitrogen from a monodentate tcnoet in the axial sites. The values of the copper–copper separation across 2,5-dpp are 6.763(1) (1) and 6.754(1) Å (2) whereas that through the double tcnoet bridge is 9.559(1) Å (2). The investigation of the magnetic properties of 1 and 2 in the temperature range 1.9–295 K reveal a Curie law behaviour for 1 and a very weak ferromagnetic interaction for 2. The poor ability of the 2,5-dpp ligand to mediate magnetic interactions between the copper(II) ions in the 2,5-dpp-bridged copper(II) complexes contrast with the somewhat better ability of the pyrazine ring in related pyrazine-bridged copper(II) complexes.  相似文献

Acidic 4‐hydroxy‐1,2,3‐triazole is a proven bioisostere of acidic functions that has recently been used to replace the acidic moieties of biologically active leads. Straightforward chemical strategies for the synthesis of the three possible N‐alkylated 4‐hydroxy‐1,2,3‐triazole regioisomers have been designed and reported herein, by identifying the optimal conditions under which the alkylation of ethyl 4‐benzyloxy‐1,2,3‐triazolecarboxylate (compound 19 ) can be regiodirected to the triazole N(b) position and thus produce the only isomer that cannot be obtained via the cycloaddition reaction. Furthermore, an innovative platform for parallel synthesis, called Arachno and which has been patented by the authors' group, has been used to speed up the process, and an NMR study has been carried out to better understand the reactivity of compound 19 towards the N(b) position. A library of benzyloxy protected 4‐hydroxy‐1,2,3‐triazoles has been prepared using the two strategies: regiodirection for the N(b) and N(c) isomers and cycloaddition for the N(a) isomers; the processes are described herein. The three N‐alkylated regioisomer series have been characterized spectroscopically (NMR and MS). The subsequent catalytic hydrogenation of the 4‐benzyloxy protective group on the N‐alkylated‐4‐benzyloxy‐5‐ethoxycarbonyl‐1,2,3‐triazoles provided the corresponding substituted 4‐hydroxy‐1,2,3‐triazoles.  相似文献

Hydrogels have been prepared using two partially deacetylated hyaluronan (deHA) samples having a molar ratio of free amino groups to total initial N-acetamido groups equal to 23 and 33%, respectively. Taking advantage of such primary amino functionalities, polymeric networks could be easily obtained in aqueous media by means of two different crosslinking procedures, namely: a) Ugi multicomponent reactions and, more simply, b) glutaraldehyde reticulation. In this paper, we wish to report on the synthesis of deHA based hydrogels and, in particular, on their structural elucidation as obtained by NMR studies.

A gold nanoparticles transparent electrode was realized by chemical reduction. This work aims to compare the transparent gold nanoparticles electrode with a more commonly utilized gold-film-coated electrode in order to investigate its potential use as counter-electrode (CE) in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). A series of DSSC devices, utilizing I/I3− and Co(III)/(II) polypyridine redox mediators [Co(dtb)3]3+/2+; dtb = 4,4′ditert-butyl-2,2′-bipyridine)], were evaluated. The investigation focused firstly on the structural characterization of the deposited gold layers and then on the electrochemical study. The novelty of the work is the realization of a gold nanoparticles CE that reached 80% of average visible transmittance. We finally examined the performance of the transparent gold nanoparticles CE in DSSC devices. A maximum power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 4.56% was obtained with a commercial I/I3−-based electrolyte, while a maximum 3.1% of PCE was obtained with the homemade Co-based electrolyte.  相似文献

We investigate the dynamics of a class of tumor growth models known as mixed models. The key characteristic of these type of tumor growth models is that the different populations of cells are continuously present everywhere in the tumor at all times. In this work we focus on the evolution of tumor growth in the presence of proliferating, quiescent and dead cells as well as a nutrient. The system is given by a multi-phase flow model and the tumor is described as a growing continuum Ω with boundary ?Ω both of which evolve in time. Global-in-time weak solutions are obtained using an approach based on penalization of the boundary behavior, diffusion and viscosity in the weak formulation.  相似文献
